As a stylist, I can honestly say this is a really good job for DIY. I normally don’t encourage people so do this themselves but honestly it looks better than some salon jobs that I’ve seen.
Found this video a couple days ago, and I just bleached it yesterday. It really helped me a lot. I thought I was going to fuck it up and end up with a harsh line but it all worked out perfectly. Saved me a lot of money by not going to the salon. Thank you so much! :)
I am so happy I found this tutorial because I planned on using all the products you're using and I have the same length hair as yours! I'm making a video of me dying my hair and I'll make sure to credit you for how i dye my hair!!!
Since you mentioned in your rose gold tutorial that the purple worked well with the orangy/golden tone still in your hair I was wondering if I'd need to tone my hair/use purple shampoo tol when getting the rose gold hair?
I didn't know you had to mix toner with the thing. Can I use the fudge conditioner afterwars? Would that do the same thing or? What should I look for when trying trying to buy a toner to use after, when do I conditioner after?
So one question , and sorry for my ignorance... but you have to mix the bleach, the toner and the developer all toghether to bleach the hair and basically get the ombre hair ? right? I JUST FOUND YOUR VIDEOS AND THEY ARE AWESOME , I SWEAR ,I AM SO FREAKING SUBSCRIED :)
So you mix the bleach and developer together, and after you have already bleached it, you apply the toner. You don't need to mix the toner into the bleach and developer :) And thanks so much!!
Justine Crawford my hair color is about the same as yours & im trying to get to that golden blonde for a rose gold color so about how long did you leave the bleach/blonde in before it started to turn a golden color? thank you for your videos theyre very helpful!
How long did you leave the bleach on and how much developer did you use when you mixed it with the bleach? And if I were to use toner, do I just mix my developer with the toner?
I left it on for about 30 min or so, I think I said in the video but don't recall. the packet of bleach you buy will tell you exact instructions of how much developer to use right on it, it may vary depending on the brand, but it'll say the measurements :) and the toner says how much developer to mix it with as well!
Hey! first I wanted to say I really love your videos and the way you explain things, also the shade of rose gold you dyed your hair was really pretty. Quick question tho, is this the same process (and products) you used to bleach your hair before applying the purple dye in your previous video? Because in the rose gold video I thought you had used just the garnier nutrisse bleach straight from the bottle. If so, does it work the same? thanks x
Hi there! Yes, in the other one I did use the garnier nutrisse-- this video was more to show the actual process of applying. For me, it did work the same! :)
Hello from Brazil! I love your hair, do you trim it yourself? if you do please do a video, i have short hair too and it grows so fast, and i'm to lazy to keep going to the hair dresser lol
For the last video did you use a toner or did you just leave it how it came out for the brassyness you needed. If I were to go rose gold should I just use no toner? Btw love your videos!
I left the brassiness because it kept the warmer/golder hues in the hair! I don't think you'd need to tone it unless it is SUPER orange or something. And thank you! :)
Hi I love it I will try it later since I just took this red off recently.. but I saved your video so when I'm ready to do it.. thank you and subcribed..
I've never been to a salon! My mom usually cuts it, but I have a couple times. I suppose this would be a long bob-- feel free to take a screenshot of this video to show your hairdresser though! :)
how many sessions does it take for virgin dark hair to your shade of blonde? and how many days/months should i wait between each time I bleach? i feel like the first time i do this i'll get brassy hair for sure. :(
This only took two! In my "demo" section, you can see the colour it was prior. That was the first session. I waited a couple of months before bleaching again but that's only because that's the colour I wanted at that time. Again, I am not an expert, but I'd probably wait around a few weeks before doing a second bleaching. It depends on the integrity and strength of your hair-- make sure you deep condition and whatnot before bleaching it again! :)
Mica R Most of the time, hair dye does not have ammonia in it, therefore it is not damaging. So yes you can go straight pink. It is nice to wait a day or two but it shouldn't be harmful!
No, I didn't use toner before the rose gold! I kept in a lot more of the brassy hues for the rose gold to keep the "gold" aspect rather than a brighter pink :)
16 $ and a quite an amount of elbow juice and voilà....beautiful. Looks so easy to do but know i would feel overwhelmed once I will have to do the back of my head. Wish you had showed how you done it.
Nooooooo that's really bad for your hair. Bleach with dry hair that hasn't been washed for at least 3 days doing an at home bleach application. Your hair will be less damaged if you cover your hair with some coconut oil and leave it in when bleaching
+Justine Crawford awesome! Thank you, I've been thinking of doing my hair that rose gold color you did! The tutorial was really informative btw! Thank you for responding!
I just want to say your nice but you need to stop making people believe that they can do the same thing you did. Because your hair turn out so good because I am really sure you had help from somewhere and if not, probably you mess up before and you learned your mistakes and now is why you did it again better a d that’s why it looks salon quality if that’s what they are saying on those stupid comments. So yeah people don’t get false hopes. Reality please 🙄

I’m hoping for the same outcome I jus bought the supplies to do it myself.

Next week I’m going to bleach my hair at homeee. Wish me luck
P.s am I the only one who is here on 2020?
yeah me too. quarantine really got us bored.
No same hahahahah
I'm here. Just done this hehe. Lockdown is boringgggg hahaha. I think a lot of women are doing there home at home during this covid pandemic lol
@@shanniileah how did it come outt??? i was thinking whether to follow this or not
@@aena5995 not good lol. Ended up getting a hair dresser out to fix it lol
I am so happy I found this tutorial because I planned on using all the products you're using and I have the same length hair as yours! I'm making a video of me dying my hair and I'll make sure to credit you for how i dye my hair!!!
You did a great job! It looks really pretty and suits you well. Your hair looks super healthy too!
Tomorrow I'm destroying my hair :(
How did it go? 🤔
How did it go? I will dyed my hair in 2 hours lol
Same tommorow I'm doing it😂
Omg I loved your hair when I saw this video and did as you did but used a toothbrush for the bleach. My hair turned out so pretty! Thank you. ❤
Thank you for sharing. Your voice is so relaxing. I could listen to you explain things for hours. And most importantly, your hair turned out great!
somewhat irrelevant, but your brows are so nice! what products do you use on them?
they really are!
What a great ideia using a scarf to prevent staining your neck! Will do that next time I colour my hair. Thank you x
Your voice is calming! Your videos are very neat. Keep on posting content :)
Since you mentioned in your rose gold tutorial that the purple worked well with the orangy/golden tone still in your hair I was wondering if I'd need to tone my hair/use purple shampoo tol when getting the rose gold hair?
I didn't tone my hair before I dyed it rose gold :)
+Justine Crawford okay, thanks :)
Justine Crawford so for the rose gold did you follow this same bleaching process just no toner and no purple shampoo?
love your voice! its so calm and soothing..
Best video I've seen yet! I'll be trying to ombre my hair in a couple days, wish me luck 🙃
Thanks! This was super helpful. My hair turned out gorgeous.
You remind me of Miranda Cosgrove!
Its the eyes n a lil of the nose
your hair looks really nice- im going to try this technique out- thank you for sharing xx
SUPER HELPFUL GLAD I STUMBLED ON THIS THANK YOU SO MUCH
I know I am almost a year late but I just wanted to say that this video really helped me
will this technique work on my black hair ?
aly quintanilla yea you'll just probably have to bleach it more than once.
aly quintanilla it will, just use a color correction packet and it'll help take away brassy colors (:
I love the results, thank you for this!
I love your videos! You're so chill and this video and the rose gold hair video were so helpful for me!
I didn't know you had to mix toner with the thing. Can I use the fudge conditioner afterwars? Would that do the same thing or? What should I look for when trying trying to buy a toner to use after, when do I conditioner after?
hiiii!!! how long did you leave the toner on for? thank you!
Cant wait to see what color you will use next~ hope you make another video for it 💖
For sure! Let me know if you have any suggestions! :)
love the color but how long did u leave the toner on for thanks
erica alex It'll probably tell you on the box
Great job. How long did you leave the bleach in? I might have missed it but I didn't hear it.

+Justine Crawford best technique to home
Does the garner nutrisse box, that you used in your rose gold tutorial, work well for dark brown hair? I want to get my hair to a golden blonde color.
My natural hair colour is a medium to deep brown, and it worked great for me! It should work fine for darker brown as well :)
Justine Crawford my hair color is about the same as yours & im trying to get to that golden blonde for a rose gold color so about how long did you leave the bleach/blonde in before it started to turn a golden color? thank you for your videos theyre very helpful!
Did you just let the bleach sit or did you use foil to cover it up?
Thanks for your technique! It makes a perfect result of ombre!!
It looks so pretty!
I can't wait to try it out on my own hair. Thanks for this video! ^~^
No problem, hope it works!
I jus got back from Sally’s I didn’t get toner. 😣
How long did you leave the bleach on and how much developer did you use when you mixed it with the bleach? And if I were to use toner, do I just mix my developer with the toner?

Hi! What ratio of bleach to developer did you use? Last time I bleached my hair, I used a box so everything was already measured out. Thank you! :)
equal parts :)
Hey
wow I I'm gonna try this ! love your videos 😊
You did an amazing job! Omggggg! 😍💖
This video was so helpful! Thank you, I loge your voice as well so soothing :) x

Question: Can I do the same thing with a red dye on black hair??
what color of toner did you use? I love the results
i really like your voice, your video is helpful too ^^
OMG loved this definitely gonna try it :) also where did u get your shirt it's soo cute
Yay hope it works out! It's actually a romper from old navy :)
omg your hair is salon quality 😱
Hello from Brazil! I love your hair, do you trim it yourself? if you do please do a video, i have short hair too and it grows so fast, and i'm to lazy to keep going to the hair dresser lol
Love your hair colour.

Best bleaching video I have watched :) Thanks for sharing!
I'm sorry, I have a question. what was your routine before you dyed your hair? I mean, you said the hair needed to be oily and cared
Ur definetly a pro
Did you use all of the bleach? Is it just enough? Cos my hair is longer than yours, just below my shoulders 🤔
What did it cost? Also try blue shampoo for brass.
do u have to use like purple shampoo, because I have psoriasis and I have to use special shampoo
You can add food coloring or hair dye to your shampoo to make it purple.
Brianna Carter I think they're talking about toning shampoo which doesn't make the hair purple but instead evens/lightens the color
Hi I love it I will try it later since I just took this red off recently.. but I saved your video so when I'm ready to do it.. thank you and subcribed..
Do you cut your own hair? My hair is past my waist but I don't know how to ask for this type of hair cut
I've never been to a salon! My mom usually cuts it, but I have a couple times. I suppose this would be a long bob-- feel free to take a screenshot of this video to show your hairdresser though! :)
I dont understand, the toner with developer gotta be applied in all the hair?
how many sessions does it take for virgin dark hair to your shade of blonde? and how many days/months should i wait between each time I bleach? i feel like the first time i do this i'll get brassy hair for sure. :(

After you bleached your hair can you color it with the pink or you have to wait a while?
Mica R Most of the time, hair dye does not have ammonia in it, therefore it is not damaging. So yes you can go straight pink. It is nice to wait a day or two but it shouldn't be harmful!
Mica R I say jump into the color because the hair will be dry and absorb the dye better.
You got them cheap , the place where i live it's too costly .
Instead can i use Berina bleaching powder and streax developer?
Did you have to tone/develop before putting in the rose gold?? Love your hair :)
No, I didn't use toner before the rose gold! I kept in a lot more of the brassy hues for the rose gold to keep the "gold" aspect rather than a brighter pink :)
+Justine Crawford thank you!!
Looks great!! Well done video as well :)
it looks so good! thank you so much for your tips. def subscribing :)
16 $ and a quite an amount of elbow juice and voilà....beautiful. Looks so easy to do but know i would feel overwhelmed once I will have to do the back of my head. Wish you had showed how you done it.
Am full blonde did a brown balayage but I think am gonna do similar to you.
i have a question, could you do this after you washed your hair when its still wet?
Nooooooo that's really bad for your hair. Bleach with dry hair that hasn't been washed for at least 3 days doing an at home bleach application. Your hair will be less damaged if you cover your hair with some coconut oil and leave it in when bleaching
Is this Important to buy this shampoo too
i've fallen in love
How many layers do you usually divide your hair up into when applying the bleach?
I only divided it into two! :)
+Justine Crawford awesome! Thank you, I've been thinking of doing my hair that rose gold color you did! The tutorial was really informative btw! Thank you for responding!
You're a life saver. 😂
What number would you you say this color is?
Love it. You should be a hair dresser ❤
Thank you for your video so helpful!!
Very helpful! Thank you
How long did she leave the bleach in her hair?
30mins
How would I start if I have pure black hair?
The same way but you may need to do 2-3 rounds of bleach for a light, non-orangey,even color :)
What's toner?
thank you so much for this!
My pleasure!
amazing job :D
You should do asmr lol
I'm sorry, maybe it's my phone but I see orange tones
So cute
I wanted to see how your hair looked after washing bleach 😓 ..... that would have helped
