The simplest meal ever. 1/2 - 1 lb of bacon in a deep skillet or pot fry to your favorite level of cooked but make sure to have a bunch of fat rendered into liquid, add several cans of low sodium green beans, don't drain. Simmer until most of the water has boiled away and the liquid left is mainly bacon grease. Bacon flavored green beans are absolutely divine.
Your welcome! I respect everyone who takes time out of their busy day to watch my videos. I am the same way with folks who buy bbq from me. Thank you for your support!
Get the sugar free tomato sauce. Substitute the meat with low fat turkey. Use mozzarella or provolone, they're low fat and lower sodium. I'm also diabetic. I follow an excellent Brazilian chef on TH-cam, called Anjo Low Carb. Get the English subtitles. She's great, easy to follow and short videos. Good luck!!!
I have been eating Keto for number of years, lost 80 pounds and maintain it. This style pizza has become part of the rotation in my diet. I will add Hot Italian sausage into the mix, also mushrooms. Good on you for introducing this version of pizza to your followers.
I can save you a step you take your meat mixture put everything in with one egg some cheese flatten it out on your pizza tin. Pop it in the oven for 10/15 minutes take it out put your toppings on put it in for another 10/15 minutes saved you the step of cooking it in a pan. 🍕I used ground chicken too.
Seeing your pepperonis made me think about making pepperoni chips when I was younger we would put a layer of pepperoni slices on a couple of paper towels on a microwave safe dish and cover with more paper towels microwave on high for 1 minute that gives you crisp pepperoni chips they are delicious and the pepperoni flavor is very intense
I think instead of spaghetti sauce (although, like you, Prego is my favorite) I'll try Manwich. When I was my Atkins Diet 20 years ago, I did this, but instead of browning the meat first, I would layer it in a pie pan then with the rest of the ingredients and baked it. The meat became the "crust".
Cheese that is sliced or grated at home melts much better because pre-grated cheese that’s bought in the stores grated has chemical “stuff” on it that prevents the cheese from sticking to itself, but sadly that same “stuff” also prevents the cheese from melting as well. The more you know! 😁 Recipe looks great, too!
Just sayin'.... Yes, shredding cheese ourselves is so much better....and also, I believe the grated parm and romano cheeses contain cellulose to keep the cheese from clumping. That is wood😄
My favorite dish is chopped onions and cabbage with bacon! It's a very simple and easy Irish dish from about 150 years ago. I make it about once or twice a month. Just fry up the bacon, chop it up then on a cart iron skillet, fry up the onions and cabbage until tender then add the bacon to hear up and serve!
If you sauté onions first, before adding to ground beef, you’ll get more flavor from them. Add minced garlic to the onions at the end to bring out their maximum flavor.
My favorite recipe is taco stuffed peppers. Just green peppers etuffed with a mixture of ground beef, salsa, taco seasoning, mexican cheese, sour cream and i add a tblsp of mayo. Cut green peppers in half either horizontally or vertically. Put green peppers in microwave with some water to soften about 10 min. Then drain and put in baking dish and stuff with meat mixture. Top with cheese and bake at 350 for 15-20 min. Delicious and low carb. Ive lost 32lbs since May of 2023, eating low carb.
Started off on Keto about 5 years ago lost 20 lbs then cheated my way back to heavy then found carnivore 5 months ago....steak every day, no veggies no nuthin...lost 50 lbs in 3 months and have kept it off (233-183, 5'9"). It seriously took 3 months before I realized I'd lost my cravings and as a result hardly ever felt/feel hungry unless I've fasted for a couple of days which became really easy to do...anyway, love the recipe and if I was to cheat with some veggies this would be my go to because I used to love pizza.
I tell people the hardest thing about going carnivore is not being about to go back. After you remove the breads, tortilla and all that other junk you get sick just smelling it. This makes potluck the worse thing ever, being hungry with all sorts of garbage around you knowing if you touch it you are just gonna get you a worse stomach ache. Bread just soaks up all your acids and give you vomit breath.
I made this tonight for dinner and I am here to confirm that it was, in fact, fire. 10/10 will make again and sent the recipe to a friend. Thanks again!
Looks great, I’m going to give it a try. My favorite low carb meal is taco salad, lettuce tomato cucumber red onion topped with ground beef cooked with taco seasoning then I crumble some Mexican white cheese on it then a little low fat ranch dressing finish it off with some avocado and a few tortilla strips. It’s low carb not no carb lol.
if ya want it even healthier, i'd do this but with ground turkey, and turkey pepperoni's probably a bit more onion and bellpepper. good idea though! Can do this on bulking months for sure! Pizza is def my weakness, this could cure the urge
Check out the Xtreme brand tortillas, they are very low carb and made with olive oil. Layer the bottom of pan with them then add the meat mixture and bake. I also use the Xtreme tortillas for pizza. Lay one on a pizza pan then add your toppings, bake at 350 until it's done to your liking.
We make something slightly similar but definitelyvnot low carb since it contains pasta. Pizza Hut used to make a dish called Cavatini back in the 70's and 80's that I loved. My mom figured out a copycat version by taking mine apart one time when I ordered it. It's basically just pizza in a pot and substituting the crust with 3 different shaped pastas. We make one meat lovers and one with veggies added because some people didn't like mushrooms and black olives or bell pepper. At Pizza Hut they served it in individual oval ramikins that they popped in the puzza oven long enough to make the cheese on top mekt and brown slightly. We just add the cheese into the pot then add more on top.
Looks good! Never thought to put ground meat on the bottom...I typically add cottage cheese (for increased protein) as the bottom layer...thanks for the tip!
wow my doctor told me to watch my carbs and I have for 6 months now. THis dish you just made will be apart of my low carb diet. It looks great cannot wait to make it for myself

Thank You Very Much For Recipe. I Just Made it And my 21 Year Old son Loves it. I used Sausage & Beef For Base, Sauce, Garlic, Basil 3 Cheeses & Pepperoni. God Bless You.
I have a great low carb recipe I use for a hearty meal (and I will be trying the one in your video soon) I take some ground beef (1 to 2 lbs) cooked thoroughly in coconut oil -that adds some healthy fats and a little more flavor, you can substitute avocado oil if you dont like the coconut flavor. While that meat is browning up, I use a very healthy amount of Worcestershire sauce. While thats going I have some cheese (like velvetta) melting down in a pan with a good bit of butter and a splash of either almond milk or heavy cream. Once that is melted down I add in some riced cauliflower. One the meat is down it gets added to the cheese mix and stirred up real good. Thats it, its ready to serve. This is basically a low carb version of a recipe I used to make with Jasmine Rice instead. Note that you can substitute the ground beef for something like Ground Bison or a leaner (90/10) ground beef. I usually use an 80/20 ground beef

And I like the pepperoni addition. On regular pizza I don’t like pepperoni, but on this - or mine- it would up the pizza effect we are going for. Thanks!
I wonder if you were to put the pepperoni and cheese on the bottom and made like a big chip with that if it would be good? Then those that could tolerate tomato could dip it in sauces. I always boil my pepperoni to get the grease out of it. I find it kinda sickening when it is really oily. I so miss tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant! Can't eat nightshade family plants d/t psoriasis and other immune system issues. I make dips out of sour cream with different seasonings.

I use Joseph's oat and flaxseed tortillas. Put on paper plate, sauce, mozz and pepperoni on there. Microwave a minute or so, until the edges of crust cook and curl a little. All done, low carb. Eat immediatly. Anxious to try your beautiful casserole!!!
That actually looks very delicious! I am missing most of my teeth, so looking for easier ways to eat the foods that I love. Was wondering the other day what a pizza would be like with a hamburger for the crust ... now I know! And your way looks lots better :)
Missing most of my teeth too, robbed blind by a holistic dentist that refused to do cavitation surgery without removing the mercury fillings. Just about every tooth she untouched failed. It all started with an old root canal going bad so root canals are a no for me. Anyway, you could always puree the cooled cooked meat mix in a food processor to help out with chewing... I'm thinking that some steamed Cauiflower in the casserole would be a great way to fill out this casserole. Looks great, sir! 🙋🏻♀️
@@noeldeal8087 Well, we have discussed how well a NY Strip and a Potato (or fries) would blend up in a food processor. After my last 7 teeth bug out, we will have to get creative lol! :)
I have badly-fitting dentures, which is about the same as none at all when it comes to cheese. PLEASE be very careful when it comes to stringy melted cheese: it can be a real choking hazard for folks like us.
I watch probably too many food videos, but dude this looks delicious. Props for sharing a great low carb flavor filled dish. That truly is low carb. I’ve seen many recipes that claim low carb or keto and they are not.

I was thinking the same, does sound good
I've made this before using hot Italian sausage (ground) and the spicy sausage flavor really is delicious! Much more flavorful than ground beef.
Yeah for me sweet Italian with a few shakes of fennel seed
I did that. It's worth adding!
Thank you for this. My husband is diabetic. Now we can have pizza without all the carbs 😊!

My wife is diabetic so she doesn't eat a lot of bread. This sounds like a perfect recipe for us to try!
Yes sir please try and add more veggies if you like!
She shouldnt eat this either spaghetti sauce has loads of sugar. Make sure she uses a low sugar sauce.

Glade you like it! Stay the course low carb is tough! You can do it!

That actually looks very delicious! I am missing most of my teeth, so looking for easier ways to eat the foods that I love. Was wondering the other day what a pizza would be like with a hamburger for the crust ... now I know! And your way looks lots better :)
Ok, yes it would be easier to eat thank you for your comment.
@@noeldeal8087 I am addicted to my cauliflower casserole I make. Cauliflower is so versatile!
Great idea and great post. Can’t wait to try it!!
I appreciate you!
I watch probably too many food videos, but dude this looks delicious. Props for sharing a great low carb flavor filled dish. That truly is low carb.
I’ve seen many recipes that claim low carb or keto and they are not.
