The King was in his own room in the NH/MA locations too. I recall that as being the room where all of the dads sat away from the kids, smoking cigarettes and drinking pitchers of beer. Ah, the good ol’ days, 😂

In Louisville back in the mid 80s, if you brought your report card in, you would get 5 tokens for every A and 3 for every B. It was back when I was in 6th or 7th grade (so 1984-1986ish). I remember it because we got an academic grade and conduct grade. I remember going into the Shelbyville Road mall and getting something like 60 tokens on report card day. Good times. I think the next year, they started capping it at 20 tokens. Yeah... Chuck E Cheese took over Max and Ermas.. It was tucked over on one of the side spurs. The mall location was considerably smaller with fewer games. They were all packed in the room. In 1985, I remember it had Star Wars, Tron, Dragon's Lair (big deal because it was the first laserdisc game and it was frequently broken when it skipped its track), Pac Mac, Galaga. For a time, both locations were the best place in Louisville to play video games with a better selection than Aladdin's Castle.
