A Full Day at Wekiva Island & Wekiwa Springs

🌞 I saw that Florida Springs Passport featured Wekiva Island in their recent video and we had to check it out!
🛖 We rented the Riverside Cabana, which you can do online and you guarantee your spot from 8-5PM.
This is actually very useful because they get very busy and sometimes reach capacity early in the morning.
🛶 They have single and double kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes available for rental in property.
They are first come, first serve.
So if you’re planning on renting one, be sure to get there early.
🏝️ Wekiva Island is only 2 miles away from Wekiwa Springs, and it’s a 30 minutes paddle.
The way there is so peaceful and we had such a great time!
🌮 For lunch we stopped at the Without a Paddle Cafe on the island.
We got some Fish tacos and Gator tacos
Everything was SO yummy! They have various options and they are all around $5-15, which is a great price.
🍺 After our lunch we sat at the Tooting Otter bar and got a
Bahama Mama and a Florida Orange IPA
Both were like $5 which was a steal.
They have a bunch of beers on tap, so make sure you check them out.

Friday & Saturday 8 AM - 11 PM
