What I do is just use my overdraft £2k odd transfer it into chase then send it back to my other bank literally 10 seconds of admin once per month. Easy peasy
Hi, When you say that the hack is to deposit £500 into the Chase then take it back out then repeat this until you have deposited the necessary £1500, can this be done all on the same day and at the same time or does it have to be over say money in one day and the money out the next and repeat until the necessary £1500 has been deposited into the Chase bank?
Hi Andy. Thank you so much for the informative videos as always. I wanted to ask is there any risks with using chase as my primary bank in terms of applying for credit cards? I am asking in the context of trying to get an amex card. Given that chase does not report to Experian as of now (chase only reports to trans union) and the account does not even appear on my Experian credit report (even though I had it for almost a year) when I do a soft check on amex I get that I am not eligible for one of their card and they point me to the Experian website. Note: I have a very good credit score on Experian and an Amex card wouldn't be my first credit card.
is there a way you can do a video on Trading 212 interest on cash savings as they have increased there interest to 5.2% as i'm finding mixed info on this..Thanks 🙃
Andy, can I put money into my chase current and then move to my wife’s chase current or does it need to come from external bank ? Also, I put money straight into chase sub accounts (savings pots) - does this count towards £1500? Thanks
you said about transfering £500 a month is going up to £1500. I only opened my account in december, but does this mean ive meant to of transfer in £500 since then? or was that the old extension criteria? Thanks!
Hi Andy will it work if you used the add money feature for revolute from chase and essentially pay yourself like you mentioned in a previous video for the halifax hack
@Kenemw I know Chase doesn't offer cashback for council tax but my question is:is there another bank or a way to get some cashback for paying council tax?
So you have to spend all your money to get 1% of it back😂😂😂😂. Chase Bank have a great headline scam going on here with the headline grabber 5% interest on your change. 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for this review. I switched from Starling to this bank because of the offer so to hear it has been extended is great!
Nice work ,good hacks and up to date info.
At 8:55 which is the alternative,I don't understand ?thanks.
I got £43 one month when I had to spend alot one month before the cap.

As an international student in the uk. Can I still open a chase bank account since I am not a uk tax payer ?
£500 was manageable, not so good for part-time and zero hours workers.

Looks like he has now! ;)

Does this pay 1% on PayPal payments?

Once your first 12 months is up it’ll increase
Hi Andy, any idea when Chase will let a previous customer (with old account closed) open up a new account again?
never
i use chase as a student and this new 1500 change has basically frozen me out :(
How? He literally explains how to bypass it
@@sheriff8530 because a student can’t afford to put £1500 in the account monthly? I put £500 max.
Does Chase cashback work with the cheddar app when buying gift cards?
Not sure, i would like to know myself
Yes but you will get a lower % of the gift card. If you do a bank transfer with Chase you won’t receive cashback. I tried it few days ago
Unlikely, I've tried buying gift cards with this and not had cashback given
Do you know Chase still don’t have a policy in place to allow people who previously cancelled the card to re-sign up?
Shouldn’t have cancelled it then should you
@@sheriff8530 I’m obtaining more money (and protection) on my AMEX card now, so all good 😀

I’ve just signed up to this. Does that mean from March I have to put in 1500 a month even if just take it straight out again?
just do it
Basicly i only need to transfer to chase £1500 to get the 1%?
Yes, And spend with the debit card of course
Yup thats all I have done for the last year. I get paid it goes though another account for their benefits and then into Chase….double up
A way to get cashback for paying council tax?
Doesn't qualify for cash back, they have a list on their website
@Kenemw I know Chase doesn't offer cashback for council tax but my question is:is there another bank or a way to get some cashback for paying council tax?
I think one of the Santander accounts (123 Light maybe) offers a bit of cashback on bills, but you have to factor in fees so might not be worth it
@@florinb4668santander have a account for that no?
@@florinb4668Santander edge maybe. Don’t quote me on that but look into it
Andy, do you have any hecks to pay rent with your AMEX card in the UK
Sadly not
Can you pay rent with PayPal?

😂😂😂😂
The amount to transfer in chase is £500 and not £1500.
I don’t think you got this right .
It’s changing, all explained in the video
He’s right
