  • There are a growing number of offers that require you to spend with your debit card to earn the reward. That's fine if you are using your current account card for everyday spending, but not if you'd rather use a cashback card instead.
Fortunately there's a trick where you can do this without any actual spending. Here's how to do it.

Great video, whenever I refuel my car I put whatever fuel I want in and then go £0.01 over the next pound, so if it came to £18.63 I'll take it to £19.01 for example and get £1.98 added to my savings account. You could also pay say £500.01 into a SIPP adding £1.98 to your savings account aswell as getting 20 or 40% tax relief.

Hi Andy, great video as ever! I was wondering if the Halifax £5 monthly reward is included as part of your yearly tax free savings allowance? Thanks for your great work!

I think you can also add money to PayPal balance using a debit card

I know you can via direct debit. Didn't know you could do it as a card payment

You can't, you can only add money by linking a bank account not debit card.

You can. I've been doing this for a few months. About 10 times each month. No issues

I live by a Lidl and they currently have a free fruit deal per day when you spend only 1p. So I've gone in each day after work, bought 1 cheap item we need for the house and got a free fruit item. Repeated 5 times to fulfill my 5 transactions for the switch deal, and I've also received free strawberries, easy peelers, lemons, peppers and a mango ☺
