The Delfonics have a great library of fine songs, I feel blessed that I grew up in the 60-70’s when there was so much fine music.. Dramatic’s, Intruders, Stylistics, Ohio Players, Blue Magic, Bloodstone, Barry White, Kool and the Gang and all the great artists with Motown, I still listen to all of these great artists and every time I do it fills me joy 🙏🏾

These fellas even more powerfully charged in concert. The big guy could straight up blow in the high tenor to envy that of most 70’s soul lead singers. I recall thinking to myself, “Jeez, he’s pulling a Delfonics on this one”.
Harry just tore that ish up. Charles could rip it too. These guys and the lead for Enchantment (Emanuel "E.J." Johnson) are some seriously underrated singers.

I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, so all I heard on the radio was Philly soul! 😄 The local deejays in Philadelphia weren't going to bother with the Kansas City sound.
