Man, you have to really listen to the words to understand how powerful these words are. Problem is, a lot of us men (me included at one time) were a little to late to understand it really is a thin line between love and hate... The sweetest woman in the world, can be the meanest woman in the world, if you make her that way.

This song has a serious message that men need to take heed - you keep doing your shit, and what she's holding back will, "really, really hurt you some day"
Tee H - You are laboring under the fiction that the female is always the perfect saintly ones in an interaction. That is a fallacy. There are plenty of ruthless, evil, skanky, immoral, "me first" minded women out there, some are even physically beautiful to the point where you would never think them capable of such evil, yet they are. Guys game at being players and even get away with it for a time, but the females have the power of the backstab and lack of any chivalry rules taught them to uphold, no rules of decorum and fight dirty is all that matters with them, and their fellow females actually applaud and support this cowardly behavior. Respect and love is indeed the ideal, but when it goes off the rails, whoever initiated it, the deck is stacked against the male half, guilty or innocent does not matter...
dude, you have been through some stuff! lol. But well said. Modern day women are very dangerous, many of them are. The old school women didn't think like they do now. The women today got game and will slash you before you realize what's happening. Yeah, i know. I guess they've been hurt enough. Now they are doing the hurting.
onelove - A reasoned analysis, but slightly flawed, in that these new generation (especially Black) females, have been given opportunities in education and hiring, which was part of the plan, to feel superior to the Black males, who have in turn been brainwashed with thug culture (music especially) and routed to prisons and substandard educations (diction being the "point to" excuse) and therefore made less eligible as desirable marriage materiel, hence the continuation of the destruction of Black "nuclear families" as initiated by the "Patrick Moynihan strategy". Segregation made for more stable Black families, so the reduction of public segregation merely was a tool of genocide (as we see today in the murder stats in Chicago, Maryland, etc). Like the devil's great trick of making man believe he does not exist, so getting Blacks to self-exterminate by doing the Kluxer's job for them has been a PsyOp for decades now and bearing the same "strange fruit" as the Klux went hands on in lynching murders prior the advent of these strategies...

I grew up in a small west Texas town listening and watching Don Cornelius' Soul Train as much as I could on Saturdays in the '70s. Talent like this always seem to be in abundance, unlike today's over processed, compressed, and auto-tuned productions. This song was written and produced by the oh so smooth Poindexter Brothers and the Persuader's simply nailed it.
Nearly 50 years later and there are some who still don't get it. Mess up on a good women and she will eventually leave you. The same holds true for women too.

What a voice. I'm in my late 40s and I love this kind of music. So don't remember it from being young. However, I fell in love when I started listening around 16. Great talent.... Sadly missed 💜👍🏼👋🤗

Man, the quality of the voices is amazing.... Pure and greatest talent.. Might persuaders
Music has evolved over time, but it doesn’t get any better than this.
I gtew up in the best era for music. Born in 1963, we had the music.
Can't fake it on Soul Train... that's for damn sure.
mcsuchnsuch facts 👌🏿💯
Actually majority of the groups didn't sing live.
one the rare true performances on there and these brothas were true

One of the best performances I've ever seen. My parents have good taste in music.
When these Brothers came out 1971 they shook up and dominated the soul industry. Unfortunately they were short lived...but there recording are Long lived.
She's going to fool you one day every smiling face isn't a happy one classic by the mighty persuaders
Oh my gosh I loveeee this song, and I love when singers use to perform,
Had their Lil two steps dance, brought lots of feels into the song. Gotta love
These old school music!!
I love this song these. Brothers. Are great !!!
Listen, enjoy, and learn. You didn't think your girl had the nerve. Good real music!
Rite if you make her that way
I grew up in a small west Texas town listening and watching Don Cornelius' Soul Train as much as I could on Saturdays in the '70s. Talent like this always seem to be in abundance, unlike today's over processed, compressed, and auto-tuned productions. This song was written and produced by the oh so smooth Poindexter Brothers and the Persuader's simply nailed it.
This song back in the day was the number one hit for a long time.... thin 💫 line between love and hate, real love ❤️ was no joke..
Nearly 50 years later and there are some who still don't get it. Mess up on a good women and she will eventually leave you. The same holds true for women too.
This is the era of my prime ...lead singer ..that brother is Blowin' !!!
Still fascinated by these brothers .. their choreography, their manner and dress, harmony . ♥️♥️♥️
I do believe we 40 plusers lived through the most free and creative times in the history of our country. Creativity and free thought only comes with a free spirit. We lost our rights to think and live how we want; sadly we will lose our ability to create beautiful soulful music.
Harmony on point from the 1st notes...Music is Life!!!
THIS SONG IS SUCH AN AMAZING SONG, THE WORDS TRUE BLUE!! LOVE IT♡♡♡♡
