I went to a uni outside of london and I'm trying to make some new friends here. I'd love to hear about your experiences meeting people in London and if they're different to the people you meet back in Spain :)
I just finished third year of english lit and cw at Goldsmiths now. Totally agree with the halls thing; some of them were alright, but most of them were quite shitty. But in terms of academic stuff i think it does depend on the course, as Goldsmiths also has lots of workload and exams!
@@heypilar Yh some questions I have are : how easily balanced was your course? In terms of work and life. Also what was the balance between practical and theory? What kind of theory do you learn? And what options are there for practical ? In addition how useful was the degree for the industry ?
Hi yes!! I'd say most of the students are international, the neighbourhood around campus doesn't have the greatest reputation but I've been living there for 3+ years and NEVER had a problem, filled with cute cafes and restaurants and a nice student friendly vibe :)
I'm in my third year of University and honestly I can't take it anymore. Next year in the summer I will graduate (4 years in total) and I don't want a master. Firstly, it's too expensive and secondly I got tired of so much stress caused by practice, exams and projects lol
I would say my experience living in halls was a mix of both. We didn’t speak to each other, there were two party people that would bring their friends even during exam times, and they were dirty people! We even had someone stealing food for a whole semester...
I apologize for my fellow Chinese people's behavior. Know that we are not all alike. Although I must admit some Chinese from mainland China are quite rude and disrespectful.😞

Hi yes!! I'd say most of the students are international, the neighbourhood around campus doesn't have the greatest reputation but I've been living there for 3+ years and NEVER had a problem, filled with cute cafes and restaurants and a nice student friendly vibe :)
