The official one was originally on the wii u and 3ds versions, wich were way more limited in possibilities than bedrock edition
So I don't really mind them, because the wii u pack was a good one (I played it on wii u it was AWESOME)

You're able to change the player rendering with resource packs on bedrock edition. That includes the model, animations, and textures. @@Alphs
