Excellent- and although I was born and brought up in Edinburgh I'm learning stuff about some of the city's history I never knew before.
My ancestor was taken by a press gang in Edinburgh in 1715. He ended up in Boston, MA. He was just a teenager and never saw his family again. So sad.
Ew. I cannot imagine putting dead humans in the floor of my house. I had a raccoon die in my attic once, and the smell was unforgettable.

I've had experiences myself and for that reason when someone tells me of something like this, I will never ignore their story.

Although I will never have the money to visit Scotland I can close my eyes and imagine that I am there. Thank you for making me feel Scottish for even a little while.
Most horrifying apparitions have to be investigated, they're usually a cry for justice, or at the very least, remembrance. 😢
