    I found Paula's Choice cleansing balm to be about the same as the Inley List balm -- good for sunscreen removal and maybe a light makeup day. Did not work for me for removing waterproof mascara or heavier eye makeup. Farmacy has still been the best overall for me.

      Farmacy’s is amazing and I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I mainly use Inkey List, Elf and Kose. The farmacy is still my favorite though!

      @@Joannabanana1989 Agreed!! And the price has gone up too 😭 I try to always get it on sale and grab the big value size jar that lasts a while. I'll also get a less expensive one (usually Inkey List) and use that on no makeup days which I have more of.
      I've tried quite a few other balms - even Pond's and the Clearly Clean Farmacy balm, and none of them work as well.

      @@Joannabanana1989 I agree! Elf is just as Good and soooo much Cheaper! Farmacy is just WAYYYYY overpriced for what it is!

      Also Geek & Gorgeous depending on where you’re from /// It’s a derivative but I love it during the day as it’s a lighter serum consistency + either PC or Inkey List in the eve

    If the 2% bha hasn’t been enough to help with blackheads &acne, what do you think about their 4% bha? &I do use a retinoid (Arazlo)!

    • @JigglyPuff777
      @JigglyPuff777 ปีที่แล้ว

      good with dermatologist and get a prescription for Retin-A you won't need any of those products again! you won't find one tiny blackhead on my entire face since I started using my prescription Retin-A! it really is the king of all ingredients when you have that you hardly need anything else other than a hydrating serum and a good cream and of course a good sunscreen everyday you will cut your skin care routine over half for day and night if you get a prescription for that! I have glass skin and I'm not just saying that I literally do and it's all because of that prescription it is expensive though! but if you actually have acne and you go to a dermatologist then your prescription for Retin-A you will only have a copay with your insurance because it's prescribed for acne! mine however was not prescribed for acne mine is for cosmetic reasons only so my prescription for mine it's almost $500 for one tube! but I did follow Dr Drays instructions and I started using GoodRx now that prescription that was almost $500 is now only $65 every time I refill it! I had to change pharmacies though for this one prescription because not every pharmacy participates with GoodRx so I now get my prescription Retin-A from Weis markets pharmacy and my normal prescriptions from my normal pharmacy! please trust me when I tell you this will save you so much money even with as much as I was spending for my prescription before I started using the GoodRx I was still coming out cheaper than all the other crap that I was buying for my skin I literally don't need all that overpriced crap anymore it really is a magical ingredient that's why you see so many dermatologists and influencers on TH-cam talking about it! your skin will go through an adjustment. it will look worse before it looks better because it is very harsh on the skin I will give you my advice because I have the most sensitive skin on the planet and I almost gave up but I stuck to it I started using Aveeno soothing calm gel moisturizer a little bit before I would put my prescription Retin-A on my face then after that I would put another thick moisturizer over top of that and that has made a dramatic difference in the irritation! oh and I forgot to mention before I would use the Aveeno soothing calm gel moisturizer I would also use peach slices snail mucin toner!

    Paula from Paula's choice has promoted many "bad" things for skin in the past such as "hydrogen peroxide used on the skin helps get rid of and heal acne" amongst many other things lol. Honestly we all make mistakes and I have no hate towards the brand I just want people to be aware that it's okay not to follow every trend and to do research, talk to your personal doctors and do what's best for YOU! Not what anyone online or in life that doesn't have access to your medical records, medical needs etc. Still love this channel and creator though.
