We are taking a look at the MW-1 Wireless Microphone System from Joyo and putting it through it's paces in the real world, not just the studio. As a part time DJ and host, I utilize speakers and microphones on an almost daily basis and it involves a LOT of cables, so to cut ties with those cables at any point is a blessing. With the MW-1 Wireless Microphone System from Joyo, that is possible. It works with any standard microphone that takes an XLR cable, has an incredible battery life to never leave you stranded and the range is amazing...all for the princely sum of $109. That may seem like a pretty penny, but for the quality of a well-known name in the industry that you can trust like JOYO, it's a steal, believe me!

What type of mic are you using?
A Behringer, I believe. I'm not entirely sure, I didn't buy the mic, the guy I work for did.
I have been using this unit on my Sure 55 mic for about 3 years. Works great. Mine is branded by Lekato but it is definitely the same unit.
I've seen those on Amazon and have a Lekato wireless guitar system. Great stuff!
@Electric.Flamingo Yes, I use lekato on my guitars as well. They have been great. The only issue I have ever had was the mic wireless getting turn on in my gig bag and batteries being dead. The guitars have a switch. The mic has a button. So as long as you transport it something that keeps you from bumping the switch you're golden.

Great seeing some actual real world applications on a product like this! Honestly Joyo makes some good stuff I've had a Joyo Vintage Overdrive on my pedalboard for almost 10 years and its never let me down!

Probably an older unit. These aren't really new.
Can I use it by plugging two of them into the back of my dj controller and transmit it to my powered Speakers while playing house music? Or is this only for microphones? I am confused to why this is all geared for microphones and not for just playing music?
Short answer: yes.
All it is is an XLR fitted wireless transmitter/receiver.
Look at it this way, if you can use an XLR cable for it, you can use this for it wirelessly.
