My next step is to buy a totaled Charger Hellcat, then ship both vehicles to a guy in Michigan to perform the change out. I live in Florida.

I test drove the V6. It has plenty of power. Yes the V8 sounds better and is faster. The difference is the V6 gets excellent gas mileage. The Pentastar motor is also considered to be one of the most reliable motors on the market that can go 300+ miles with proper maintenance. For commuters and road troopers, the V6 is going to save its owner real money. I’ve done so much research and people report 32MPG on long trips. I have a Mustang 5.0 so I will get the V6.
I recently test drove a v6 300 and was not impressed at all with its power. Barely quicker than my 03 Buick Regal GS. However, I really loved the car itself. Looking for a 300 with a 5.7 now.
I have had a 2012 300 srt 392 and would not change it for the world. Corsa extreme exhaust is worth ever penny and some! Car pure rips. Great choice my friend

I bought a 2005 300c new, drove it for 15 years, when I heard they my discontinue the 300C, I traded for a new 2019 300C . The safety features on the new one made my 05 obsolete. Love the 300C 's !

Noooo don’t get the 5.7 liter hemi the lifters and cam go out. Keep the Camaro ss. If you get the 300 get it new and as much warranties they give for the motor. Listen for any ticks when you start the motor up if you hear that hemi tick DO NOT BUY. I have one sitting now. Get rid of the mds system too

I am in Australia and we have got the 300 SRT up to 2020, and we do not have the 300S 5.7 HEMI as yet. The 300S 5.7 HEMI of yours does sound very nice mate. I wish we still had the SRT here in the U.S. I have also heard that the 300 will be discontinued at some point. But, I think they have committed to at least a few more years. Thanks for watching!
I’m thinking of getting a 300s V8 for my next car. I’ve always liked the 300’s since I was kid ! However, I’m apprehensive about it bc Chrysler doesn’t have great reliability ratings. Although, I hear the Hemi engines tend to be more reliable..
I can understand that. We’ve never had an issue, but always get a warranty if you can! Also, proper maintenance should help a lot with that 🫶🏾 go for it!
As long as you get the Hemi engine, give it proper maintenance, such as periodically checking the coolant/oil, etc you should be good. They can last quite a long time.

I used to own a dodge magnum 2006 with 22x 10" wheels and a very good suspension. I found it at times stiff because of the 22" wheels. Now I own a 2018 Chrysler 300 S loaded on 20" wheels. The suspension on the 300 S is more stiff and if you put 22" wheels on, you will have the looks but not the ride.
Ill take this over a Challenger or Charger any day. Seeing those are the models that thieves are targeting. Currently own a 200. but the future wife is like when you get a new one she wants the 200. Witch is fine with me because i want something bigger anyways. I know a lot of people knock Chrysler. but the 200 i have, never had any major issues. Only thing i had to replace was the alternator and throttle body. But I've had my eye on the 300 good awhile.

My concern is how dated the car is for the price dealers are selling them for. $42k MSRP and dealers here in GA are almost at $46k. Might as well get the Charger/Challenger SCATs at that price!
If you do some research on where the car is headed they aren’t going to be changing much I believe they may stop making them after 2022 but also the outside looks the same since I think 2016
I drive daily and do like DoorDash but i really want the hemi 5.7 300, I’m aware of the gas and mileage but i just really want that hemi. I wouldn’t mind getting v6 but definitely prefer v8
IMO.. if you buy the car you should drive it 😜 yes the increased mileage will decrease the overall value but I think I really just don’t care lol driving til the wheels fall off! Best of luck to ya
We have had 2 v8 Chargers and one v8 300 and never a problem yet. If that’s your concern, I recommend a newer model with a warranty just for peace of mind.
The ride is extremely comfortable. It’s quiet and smooth. It’s the performance of a v8 but without the sporty suspension so the ride quality is very nice.
Re-visit the numbers on this feasibility of a "good" deal on these, the V8 is way 3-4k more expensive than the V6, If I get another one(sold my 300C(2016) it was to good to pass up the sell to dealer price, I would def get a Hemi.....

The screen isn’t flickering.. the flickering on video is because the camera’s recording frames per second is unaligned with the frequency of electricity. This is called the ‘strobe effect’. Happens almost anytime you record a screen.
I don’t know for certain but I’d assume so. They are pretty much the same inside. I googled and saw that some other folks were successful in putting 300S seats in a charger 🤷🏾♀️

Great question. The Chrysler doesn’t get driven much so the gas in there will last for at least month. Lol the Charger - full tank lasts about a week or so 😭
I think it’s a personal preference and also depends on how long you plan on keeping it, any current issues it has and how much it’s worth. There’s a lot of fun mods you could do that are relatively inexpensive 🤷🏾♀️
The v6 has less horsepower. 300s V8 has the same 5.7L engine as a Charger RT. Gas may be affordable depending on how much you drive it. But definitely make sure you do the math before you sign the papers!

I’m so confused which year and version comes with the 5.7L hemi engine …….. Chrysler 300 S I see it comes with 3.6 L
They come both ways. V8 is an option on 300S only (with the exception of 2023 300C which has a 6.4L)

I’m 21 I wanted a r/t charger but it’s was too expensive. I was able to get a fully loaded 300c hemi (2011) for less then a bare bone r/t charger

The v8 will cost about 1k more than the v6 over 12 mos....depending on how much you drive and current fuel cost.

Yes: power. Limited only comes with v6. 300S the Hemi is an option.

Good question! 1. By looking at the engine itself 2. I think the v8 is a little louder (larger engine, more hp) I’m not sure if there are any cosmetic differences

Too many charger/challengers out there.....I get them checkin my 300s out! BTW....I've owned both Challys and chargers...300 is much more comfy.
