This was very good. I couldn’t find chick pea flour so I used 50/50 almond flour and oat flour. Topped it off with a sprinkle of garlic powder, tomatoes and avocado, and a little sour cream. Easy and tasty!
thank you for the good idea I've been begging for 53 years and you forget about things after a while and don't make them. this helps me go back to some of the foods I ate at the beginning. You may not eat onions but I do so they're going in! thank you.
Awesome recipe. Tried it today for brunch with some modifications. Added grated squash and to kick up the Flavor I added grated ginger, green chilli, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Just made this for dinner. It was OUTSTANDING! I didn't have cilantro, but added a couple of other veggies as well and "fried" it without oil (I don't add any oil to my cooking...protecting my arteries) on a ceramic fry pan. Thank you so much for this really healthy, delicious dish!!!!
I have a SCANPAN, which has a ceramic non-stick surface (I only have one, a 9", the rest of my cookware is stainless), but it works perfectly for things like this. I think I paid $49 for it on sale. Not sure what I would try without that pan....maybe dry saute some onion first, to coat the pan a bit and release some flavor and fluids????

Scrumptious! I love that the recIpe is flexible for different seasonings, herbs and veggies. I tried it with Indian dipping sauces and Asian dipping sauces. Yum!

I shredded the sweet potato and added ground oatmeal and vegetable stock and baked them in a toaster oven with a bit of olive oil. Served with diy humus. Yummy!!!

We LOVE veggie pancakes but didn't have a vegan recipe. This recipe looks delicious. Only thing, I'd exchange 1/2 or all of the cilantro for flat-leaf-parsley and add sweet onion. Your recipe looks much healthier than the one we have. Thank you!
I've made this a couple times now without the sweet potato and added zucchini. I also spice up the batter with garlic, onion, chili powder, and smoked paprika. I've also subbed basil and parsley for the cilantro. I also use Bob's Red Mill gluten free flour (which is mostly bean flour) because I can't get chickpea flour. They still come out fantastic. I like them even better when I refrigerate them overnight and then reheat them the next day. They seem to firm up and make a nicer texture that way. I always make extra to put in the fridge. They are so yummy and pretty easy to make, I'll be making them often. Thank you!

I made these,they were delicious,a bit thick though.I could with one of those flat pans for pancakes.First time to use chick pea flour,very nice.

Many people have tried it and now it has become a regular one for them too. Do give us some feedback if you are trying some of the recipes and thank you for stopping by. As for a book, we had the idea of working on one, but haven't really decided on it yet. :)
