*Beginner Tip* - If your helmet does not have a flip down tinted shield, you will absolutely want to purchase the dark visor. It's a bad feeling going into a corner and having a low sun blind you.
Hey yamms I don't think you'll see this but I've been watching you for a few years and I think the majority of your fan base aren't beginners anymore, maybe you could start doing more intermediate or advanced skills, like backing it in, high speed body positions and what not, I enjoy your content but most videos are a little under my skill level now so I'm not able to really watch a lot of your content, I hope this doesn't come off rude I'm coming from a sincere place, I think you're fans have grown and so have you,
I wholeheartedly agree with yammie on the matter of boots - as a beginner rider you WILL eventually drop your bike most likely during a low speed maneuver like a turn or after heavy breaking and if you don't have insanely long legs like I do, getting of the bike when it's beyond that point we all know and hate is tricky so the chances of the bike dropping on your lower leg / ankle area are real. Get that ankle and lower leg armor - another riding student that trained in parallel with me had the misfortune of that experience and that particular grinding sound is something that's pretty hard to get out of your head again if you catch my drift here.
I got a nice pair of leather Noru gloves for $20 that I’ve personally worn for 2 summers going on 3rd, so you can definitely save a bit more money with those!
Just got all my gear here in Germany for "only" ~520€. Full-face helmet, gloves and boots from iXS, jacket, level 2 back protector and pants from Roleff racewear. Sales were really timely on that buying spree. I'm curious how they'll fare once i'm actually riding the A1 bike in driving school..
As a beginner motorcycle list I don't really know what to get or where to get it. I have no issues with someone advertising their products. It's not shilling it's a good business and it helps people like me that are looking for beginner kit

Only in the south can you talk about winter riding. Here in Minneapolis it's 6° tonight. Nobody is even considering hopping on a bike. And it's not even super cold out. Last week was 30 degrees colder for a few days. Lol

Hey guys a quick tip for new riders , if you don’t want to pay $80+ dollars for a pair of gloves go to any camping store and you’ll find a pair with similar padding ( by the palms etc.. ) for around $8 , felt like better quality too! I found this out accidentally by parking Infront of the camping store next to the motorcycle shop. Hope this can save someone some money
Yes but they are NOT impact stitched. This is extremely dangerous recommendation. You NEED impact stitching or the entire gloves comes apart the moment it hits pavement no matter the padding
Good to know that nowadays it is still possible to find gear for such decent money. However, I would argue with choice for essential set. I would say that pants are also very important and crashing without them can end pretty badly. If I really had to choose 1 piece that can be skipped for the very beginning of riding, I would choose boots, but only assuming that some trekking/hiking (or other 'serious') boots will be used instead. Such can have ankle and toes protection, of course nowhere near as good as motorcycle boots, but at least some for the very beginning. Intercom is a very nice feature but I would suggest upgrading this basic gear first, and then spend money on additional, non essential equipment.
I'm looking at motorcycle pants, but the ones that are highly recommended aren't made small enough for me. I'm a 28" waist and 30" inseam. The best I can find is 30 30 in these HWK motorcycle pants. Do they make those fancy leather ones in smaller sizes? Should I just try to bulk up?
Get a hood helmet right off the bat, you will wish you did later and not wasted $200-300 on something you'll never wear again..... How many riders have their starter helmet laying around collecting dust Just get a proper one

Why would you tell brand new riders to not get full length boots and gloves with no palm sliders? What a coincidence the boots and jacket are from the same people. There are better cheaper jackets.

Yeah but I really love going out at night, so the best would be one of those visors that change shade when sun

you can get protective sport shoes like Dainese ones they still have the rigid ankle protectors anti torsion reinforced.

You lost me when you recommended a ECE 22.05 helmet. ECE 22.06 should be the minimum. Especially for a beginner.
