I’m so excited for 2025! My husband gifted me a 12 month subscription to book of the month so I’m excited to get those books this year! I can’t wait for Onyx Storm to come out! I land from a flight at 8:30 pm on 1/20 and I’m debating if I want to be irresponsible and go to a midnight release LOL Also a couple of my friend groups will do book clubs and I can’t wait to just read a lot this year 🥰

I’m so excited for the Strength of the Few!! Also excited for Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales. I’m stuck in a book rut as I’m reading a budgeting book which is well needed, but also want a before bed fantasy book to read. I’m torn between trying Legends and Lattes, and diving into my first BrandoSando book, The Way of Kings. I’m also thinking of returning to my Valdemar series (old school fantasy series- I’m up to the Herald Mage trilogy). Any ideas from you Jamie or your awesome audience would be greatly appreciated! (I’m just not doing your book club’s book this month- not for me!! I know, unpopular opinion lol)
Most anticipated release for me is definitely My Friends by Fredrick Backman! It comes out in May and truly that isn't soon enough!! Also Voice of the Ocean (I love Kelsey)

You mentioned a lot of interesting books. The only books I have pre-ordered are Onyx Storm and Midnight Murders: An Urban Fantasy by Nicole Brona. I will get the Emily Henry and R.F. Kuang books at some point. The Ann Liang books look interesting. I want to read more V.E. Schwab books. The only ones I have read are the 3 books in The City of Ghosts series.
