I totally agree with Red Queen, I did enjoy the first book, but I dnf'd when I got halfway through Kings Cage. There was something about it that felt soooo unoriginal, it was boring, overblown and didn't flow well for me. But that's just my opinion I'm not trying to hate on the book or the people that liked it, it just was not for me. (Also, the plot of Red Queen was so similar to a series called Everless by Sara Hunter, and I didn't care for that one either.)😬 I'm so happy SOC and CK placed so high! My favorite books probably of all time 🥰🥰

I feel like Emily Henry books are good but it's sooo... realistic. Like it's not romancey at all, imo 😅 I love how real the characters are but if I'm trying to look for a book with ROMANCE, EH isn't it for me. Her story is close to being literary lol. NGL I'm more on smuttok than booktok I guess 😂😭and I swear, almost ALL of them are like 90% in dumping this book... in the trash. Dead I said that in one of the review of a booktok smut book 🥴Just because it was so bad. Emily Henry, SJM, Serpent of the Night & Wings, & Six Crows are the only one I really got advertised to 😳I kind of like this video tho because it really show me where I am in booktok LMAOOOOO
I guess I need to pick up the three S tear books that I haven't read. Since the others are all favourites of mine. House in the Cerulean Sea is my comfort book number one. I really hope the sequel is good 🫠♥️ Tho the Sunshine Court just came in the mail, that takes precedent before everything else.
