Jayden Daniels is in a completely different tier than JJ McCarthy. Jayden’s upside is superstar, JJ’s upside is serviceable starter. There are 15 other JJ’s in the league now.
McCarthy has the feel of the guy who rockets up the draft boards and then flames out because the initial views were more accurate.
JJ's super athletic,.He has a fantastic arm,. Hes Younger than the other qbs by 2 years,.
He's going to be 230lbs in 2 yrs,..219 lbs NOW,.His character and face is Franchise Material,. He's Dedicated,.He wants to be Great,.

JJ - 69%, 5,700yd, 44 TD, 9 int, 27-1 record
Will - 65%, 5,200yd, 45 TD, 23 int, 17-9 record
NFL didn't wanna touch those 23 ints... JJ tho will go in top 6. Enough teams this year REALLY need a QB.

Draft ratings sites have JJ McCarthy at 29th. They have Williams at #2...Maye at #6 and Daniels at #7. If you live in "hype land" you are staying out of "value land". Hey Rich? The Vikings have a setup that will provide an opportunity to JJ to come in right away and flourish. Very credible play caller, a solid OL, 2 stud WR and a top 10 TE.

As one of those ubiquitous Wolverine Alums I want JJ at either Seattle or New England. As a native DMVer I’d prefer Daniels on my Commanders.
If I were either player, I'd want to be drafted in the last 1/3 of the round.

Last night I finally watched most of Jayden Daniels’ Pro Day and then I went and watched some highlights from LSU. That guy can throw the football. He has a really quick release and strong arm and he reminds me of CJ Stroud. Stroud obviously should’ve gone One last year and it isn’t close. But I’ve now seen most of the QBs from this class and I think Jayden might end up being the best NFL quarterback from this draft, based upon pure passing talent. Jayden has the ability to be a star. J.J. is very good too but for different reasons, and he’s a wildcard. J.J. might end up being like a Tom Brady-type or he might falter. Predicting it with J.J. is tricky although if I had to guess I think he’ll be good. Very good draft class though.

The mentality that a blue collar guy should pick up the dinner tab of a millionaire athlete just because they are fellow Michigan alums is beyond me.
Who the heck knows what these kids will be in the nfl. All's i know is JJ justs wins, coached by hard nosed baugh, Jayden is way more physically talented, but watching him run and the collisions he gets into is frightening, like heart pounding scary, the last qb i saw run like him is RG3. Peters and Quinn have a very difficult and team altering decision next month.
Im gonna ride and support whoever they pick. But i can tell you with certainty, that if Daniels trys to run for 80 yards on every scramble he will 100% get injured. The players are bigger, faster and stronger in the nfl, and when they're chasing you, their coming with bad intentions, where in college, most players will back off slightly to avoid injury because they know they're career is over after college. As far as Maye, he reminds me of Carson Wentz, super talented but dam watching him play sometimes you're like, guy wth are you doing, I need more than just he looks like Justin Herbert with a cannon and a pretty deep ball. Talent is half the equation, heck that qb milton got a bigger cannon than Maye, just as big and just as good scrambling.
