Duuuuude!,,, You have no idea how appropriate the Rock Band reference was. The girls grew up playing Rock Band and deciding that being rock musicians was what they wanted to do. They were dead serious and worked incredibly hard, and a song, Freefall, from their first original album made it onto Rock Band 4. I guarantee you no one is insulted at all. Nobody will complain if you do a bunch of Warning reaction to help you get through them. I will guarantee you one thing, these ladies will not disappoint, every song is fire. The sisters got into music because of the Rockband video game. They were classically trained on piano and got into rock because of their parents interests and the Rockband video game. Family time was watching concert videos of Elton John, Queen and others.
@@VinE83656 Teaching your kids to take piano is sort of _de rigueur_ for upper-middle class Mexican families (much like it used to be in the US until a generation or two ago, and in some places may still be). I'm absolutely *certain* their parent's open love of music helped with this. Lots of times it doesn't "take", and kids grow up resenting the "enforced lessons" their parents provided for them, but, well... with these ladies, it obviously did "take". And then some. 🙂
They know all this , don’t be fooled , it’s a new channel they watched other reactions and seen that the warning has a lot of followers and they know that will get them subs and views . I’ve tried to get other bands reacted to, but many of my suggestions are blues rockers and seems Metal, Hard Rock, Pop and Classic Rock get most of the reactions. Don’t get me wrong I like most of those genres but Blues Rock doesn’t pull in the subs, it’s a shame because most Blues Rock really would have simply been called rock back in the 70s.

I’m not too surprised that Rock Band was their start. I actually picked up drumming myself because of my love for Rock Band. My family used to play it late into the night at ridiculously high volumes 😂 My dad would join us, turn the volume up more and my mom would eventually come down to tell us to shut it off, go to bed, or at least turn it down. 😂😂 - Chase

The Warning is quite possibly the most unique band in the world, as you can literally watch them grow up. Their early youtube postings go back to them learning to play piano at around 6 or 7 years of age. You can watch them progress as musicians and hone their stage presence into the top level performances that they produce today. The Warning has built a world wide fan base by not only putting on high energy live shows, but also writing deep, thought provoking lyrics coupled with catchy, hard rocking music.
Its been done before whether its the Jackson 5 or the Osmonds. The Warning are fantastically talented but they aren't entirely unique in the aspect you mentioned.

This is one of those rare bands that is better live than in the studio, these young women were born to rock. I saw them in May in Charlotte NC, and will see them again in September in Knoxville TN. These girls definitely rock and the lyrics they write are very open for interpretation. Paulina, the drummer says, "So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that's what Disciple is about." I recommend watching some of their live performances especially from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Mexico City from 2022 on their TH-cam channel. Also, EVOLVE from their 3rd album ERROR is a banger. You were perceptive in your take on the song. They wrote/sing this song from both sides of the argument, with Dany and Pau singing verses to reflect the oppositional viewpoints. That is a technique they use in the writing for a number of their songs.
It's funny that you mentioned Rockband. Actually, after all three were trained on classical piano from ages four to six, they were influenced to play each of their instruments by constantly playing the game. And, a couple of their early original songs are in the Rockband 4! They were only 9, 12 and 14 at the time. THAT'S how good they were as songwriters even back then! They attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music through a youth program at that time, too. They're very highly, formally trained musicians.

They leave interpretation of their lyrics to the listener for the most part, so either option you suggest for the meaning is probably right. They are currently turning in Europe opening some shows for Muse in the UK and France, playing some festivals in Germany and Switzerland, opening for Royal Blood in The Netherlands, and headlining some shows to sell out crowds in the UK, Spain, and Germany. They recently toured the US as a headliner with Plush and Holy Wars opening for them. They also hit some festivals along the way. They have some other stuff slated for when they come back to the Americas, but some of it hasn't been announced officially yet. and somewhere in there they will likely do some studio time to work on their fourth album. They released a new single about a month ago titled MORE. You should check that one out for a sample of what they are doing now. Disciple is from the Error Album which was written in 2019, recorded in 2020, and released in 2022 (due to the pandemic). Their second album titled Queen of the Murder Scene is a Rock novel about a girl who takes obsession too far, stlks and murders a guy, and suffers the aftermath of regret and madness as a result. They wrote the album then they were teens! Their first album titled XXI Century Blood is already 6 years old, but even so has some fan favorites they still perform in their headlining sets. They have around 50 songs they have composed and recorded. And they recorded (in a collaboration with Alessia Cara) their own interpretation of Metallica''s Enter Sandman for the Blacklist Album, honoring the 30th anniversary of the Black album. They also recorded an EP early in their career but they rarely play those songs anymore, but they are remarkably good considering they were recorded over 8 years ago. They also have a single written in Spanish titled Narcisista that is an answer to their domestic critics for singing most of their songs in English. They have one other Spanish song that appears on the Error album titled Martirio.
They are the best live- watch their live videos wherever possible! They are always in command of the stage- no matter how big the stage! The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto TH-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for and won many Independent Music awards in 2019. They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). You can find all their videos in order at their channel @TheWarning Be sure to checkout their TED talk, their first official video (XXI Century Blood), the incredible good Queen Of The Murder Scene concept album (played entirely live at Lunario), their take on Enter Sandman (selected as track #1 on Metallica's 30th anniversary Blacklist Album), all their videos from the ERROR album, and specially the live versions at teatro Metropolitan, which showcase them at their very best. 'Evolve', 'Animosity', 'Choke' and their completely rebuilt version of 'Enter Sandman' (which is on Metallica's _Blacklist_ album) are some of their newer stuff. Their 2nd album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ is a concept album that should be listened to in order.
You should really watch all 6 live videos from their concerts at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City last August. If you think this was energetic, you should see them live... Oh yeah, and that crazy drum fill while Pau is singing? She does that live, and nails it every time. We wonder how she does it too. The only answer is that she's Pau, who can do things like that. The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. Guys, you offended nobody. Any chance these girls get asked why they started playing they ALWAYS mention Rock Band the video game lmao. Thats how i got to know them, too, back in like 2015. In 2015, Rock Band 4 launched, and "Free Falling" was 1 of 65 songs on the disc. Also, in 2017, "Survive" was part of the rock band Rivals DLC, and thats when i really started listening to them. Harmonix, the developer, even interviewed them and gave them rock band 4 with instruments, lol. To this day, i play rock band and rock out to their songs. You offend no one ❤
Error, Queen of the Murder Scene, XXI Century Blood - their three full albums... nothing but amazing songs, every single track. They work SO hard on their lyrics, their songwriting, and are far more intelligent and deep and knowledgeable about both music and the topic matter of each song than you will find in most other groups. Their LIVE shows are amazing, even when they were young, like Live at Lunario (which was their first entire live performance of the Queen of the Murder Scene album... which should be listened to in album track order because it is a concept album ("rock novel" to use the band's words). 2022 august concert Live at Teatro Metropolitan was pro-shot pro audio, and is blue ray quality with several of the tracks free on youtube on the band's offical channel... their most recent live show with great audio and video... and easily their greatest, although Live and Lunario was also amazing... even though they were younger and MUCH more raw at lunario (more post-punk meet 80s prog/hard rock than they are now). And Dakota Bar live concert was also amazing, while they were even younger, and is essentially a live performance of their entire first album XXI Century Blood - also excellent audio, keeping in mind the age of the bassist in these shows. Alejandra, bassist, is only 18 NOW. And they have been a band since she was like 8... and I mean, A BAND (like in the studio recording, touring, studying at Berklee music school, studying with amazing legendary musicians.... they got a huge scholarship to go to Berklee from Ellen Degenerous when they were like 13/11/8 years old, or similar ages).

Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis. As you've probably already noticed, you're going to be inundated with comments from The Warning Army (TWA), their loyal, enthusiastic and large fan base. A few things I always share with those lucky enough to find The Warning for the first time: One, pay attention to their lyrics. They write hard rockin' songs with great hooks, but it's their deep beyond their years lyrics that capture your heart and give you something to think about. Two, their official videos are great, but it's their live performances that are the real magic. Check out anything from their concert at Teátro Metropolitán in August of '22, but Disciple from that concert would be a great apples to apples comparison for you see what I mean about them live. Third, they first caught the public eye with their cover of Enter Sadman when Ale was 9, Pau 12 and Danni 14. It now has over 24 million views and you should add yourselves to that list.

Welcome to The Warning! Right this way gentlemen, the entrance to the rabbit hole is just over there 🤣They don't have a single bad song in their entire catalogue! There's not much that hasn't already been said by others, so I'll just say that if you don't want to wait too much to listen to their other songs, feel free to do a few at a time! They also have a cover of Enter Sandman, which went viral back in 2014 when they were only 14, 12, and 9 that now has over 24M views. They were recently invited by Metallica to participate in the Blacklist Album for the Black album's 30th anniversary and they did a completely new re-imagining of the song with Alessia Cara. Many reactors have done both videos in the same reaction to really get a grasp on how far they've come. You can even add a 3rd reaction to a live version too. Their recent concert at the Teatro Metropolitan last August in simply incredible. They are even better live than in the studio! And as we say in TWA: You Have Been Warned!
The Warning is amazing! I stumbled across a video of theirs on TH-cam when they were just kids playing Enter Sandman and was amazed at their talent at such a young age. I have been hooked ever since! After listing to them, I did a quick search to see what else I was missing and found another family band, Liliac, playing Enter Sandman. When the female singer (somewhere around 14 or 15 at the time) started singing, I thought she was just lip-syncing! You should listen to Liliac (pronounced lil-e-ack) playing one of their original songs, Mars, live in Cumming GA back in 2019. I think you will find this is another great band to add to your favorites!
You should read the lyrics... also too late, but this song is even better live. Not to many bands are better live. This is one of them. Ironically they have two songs in the Rock Band playlist, because that's how they figured out as children the wanted play Rock! Lastly read the comments (English ones, unless you can speak or read spanish) the back story of these three (now ladies), is just as good as the band, watch your step... its a huge Rock Rabbit Hole!

Every song from The Warning needs to be reviewed with the lyrics, innate message & back story, if available. Because they are the most intellectual band to emerge in decades. Their profound metaphorical songwriting on contemporary society sets them apart from the crowd. So you can always read what the band says about their songs during your reviews. Their ages at the time of composing a song & playing it in public should be noted too in reviews. This song is about how social media controls us with fabricated info. Pau, the drummer, got inspired about the main riff in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home, composed the song on her piano including the bass intro and called her sisters. They were 19, 17 & 14 then. That is why Dany, guitarist, starts the song as an antagonist with "The sun is YOUR enemy today" while Pau picks it up as a disciple in the 2nd verse with "The sun is MY enemy today". The sisters trade off lead vocals as demanded by the script. You can make out the difference in their vocal textures. Ale, the bassist, mainly harmonizes in the lower frequencies with infrequent falsettos as required by the song. The Warning are masters in composing in minor scales. Quite often they introduce a full sequence of major chords for the same verse to break the monotony. And that downward bend in vocals here is typically The Warning with this progression G Bb E A G#m . I mean G & G#m in the same sequence - are you kidding me? Among their 3 full albums & 2 EPs the girls have published a concept album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene where they have mused over unrequited love, death, self harm, suicide & lunacy. Pau was in middle school going through her emo phase when she tabled the 1st draft in front of her sisters. Just to keep it in context, five decades back Roger Waters dealt with death, lunacy & depression in The Dark Side of the Moon. Dive into their rabbit hole that stretches back more than a decade to when they were playing classical piano as 6-8 year olds. Its all on YT. They have practically grown up on social media. RE: Rock Band Been there, done that. They already have several songs available on Rock Band. It's also where they "started" and determined which instruments they would eventually play in the band. Though, you are right, that this song would be perfect for the game (though I personally have never played it).

Hope you listen to their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene as I said earlier. How can a middle school girl, Pau the drummer, going through her emo phase write such dark stuff is beyond me? The Warning are a band of high level technicians whose prodigious maturity reflects in their musicianship. Trained on classical piano as children the "Less is more" approach has probably never been so subtly incorporated by a band before other than Pink Floyd. Dany, the guitarist, lead vocalist & eldest sister, is a force of nature on the stage. Definitely among leading front women at the moment. Her voice is perfect for rock. And her multitasking while switching between rhythm, lead, singing & controlling the sound of her guitar through her pedal board is a sight to behold in live performances. She is a PRS guitar artist. Interestingly in her early & mid teens she was helped by Rick Toone, the bespoke guitar manufacturer. Dany was gifted a custom made Gibson by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm in middle of a concert last year. Recently she has been invited by Three Days grace to share the stage. Such is her talent & unique potential. Ale, the bassist & the youngest, is a human metronome with perfect pitch has been a Spector artist since she was 13. In 2020 when she was 15 Spector custom designed an "Alejandra Villarreal Spector USA Signature 5 String" bass in a red speckled finish that was designed by her. Spector launched a series of bass in that "Ale's Inferno" finish. On Spector's website if you click on the featured artists link her photo with comments will pop up first before bassists old enough to be her grandfather. And finally Pau, the drummer & middle sister, a Sabian cymbal artist - my thoughts from an earlier post "I am over-Pau-ed. That's it. We need to talk more about this 5 feet nothing musical genius. Her songwriting, her conceiving a song including intro bass line, her harmonizing, her lead vocals, her tech-savvy multi-tasking in live performances, her drumfills & those incredible buildups on the drums, & her explosive energy that radiates through ether into our screens. Yes, her sisters are exceptional musicians & singers with unbridled energy. But Paulina Villarreal is gradually becoming that giant supernova about to explode into international stardom. Forget everything else; just her profound poetry alone is worth so many laurels."
I think this may be Paulina's best groove. The way the hi-hat rings when she loosens them up then that 32nd note riff... all while keeping the groove perfect. Her groove is legitimately world class. Can't really hear it too well on the studio version, but if you watch one of the Pau cam vids, its great. Im deaf af. Maybe you guys can hear it just fine. 😂
I watched your reaction and my first thought was, Man have they been warned! Like all of us in TWA you were caught by these girls/women, depending on when you started to listen to them. Despite being rock chicas they are kind of All-American Girls, even though they are from Mexico. They are clean livers who when you see them in their offstage videos are so ordinary it's almost shocking. When not performing they are just three sisters having fun no matter what they are doing. Onstage or in the studio, they are god tier.
Duuuuude!,,, You have no idea how appropriate the Rock Band reference was. The girls grew up playing Rock Band and deciding that being rock musicians was what they wanted to do. They were dead serious and worked incredibly hard, and a song, Freefall, from their first original album made it onto Rock Band 4. I guarantee you no one is insulted at all. Nobody will complain if you do a bunch of Warning reaction to help you get through them. I will guarantee you one thing, these ladies will not disappoint, every song is fire. The sisters got into music because of the Rockband video game. They were classically trained on piano and got into rock because of their parents interests and the Rockband video game. Family time was watching concert videos of Elton John, Queen and others.
@@VinE83656 Teaching your kids to take piano is sort of _de rigueur_ for upper-middle class Mexican families (much like it used to be in the US until a generation or two ago, and in some places may still be). I'm absolutely *certain* their parent's open love of music helped with this. Lots of times it doesn't "take", and kids grow up resenting the "enforced lessons" their parents provided for them, but, well... with these ladies, it obviously did "take". And then some. 🙂

I’ve tried to get other bands reacted to, but many of my suggestions are blues rockers and seems Metal, Hard Rock, Pop and Classic Rock get most of the reactions. Don’t get me wrong I like most of those genres but Blues Rock doesn’t pull in the subs, it’s a shame because most Blues Rock really would have simply been called rock back in the 70s.

I’m not too surprised that Rock Band was their start. I actually picked up drumming myself because of my love for Rock Band. My family used to play it late into the night at ridiculously high volumes 😂 My dad would join us, turn the volume up more and my mom would eventually come down to tell us to shut it off, go to bed, or at least turn it down. 😂😂 - Chase

These sisters need no gimmick. They are themselves, and do not want anything to distract from their music. They are just strong, intelligent musicians with something to say.
The Warning is quite possibly the most unique band in the world, as you can literally watch them grow up. Their early youtube postings go back to them learning to play piano at around 6 or 7 years of age. You can watch them progress as musicians and hone their stage presence into the top level performances that they produce today.
The Warning has built a world wide fan base by not only putting on high energy live shows, but also writing deep, thought provoking lyrics coupled with catchy, hard rocking music.
Its been done before whether its the Jackson 5 or the Osmonds. The Warning are fantastically talented but they aren't entirely unique in the aspect you mentioned.

The Warning Army is one of the strongest, most loyal, and most dedicated fan bases I have ever participated in. Their live performances are better than their music videos. This is one of those rare bands that is better live than in the studio, these young women were born to rock. I saw them in May in Charlotte NC, and will see them again in September in Knoxville TN. If you want to grow your channel all you have to do is let us watch you go down The Warning rabbit hole. If you react to The Warning's songs we will show up in numbers that will surprise you. They have 40+ original songs and all of them are great, The Warning does not know how to write or perform a bad song. Their newest song "More" is on track to hit one million views here on TH-cam in one month.

These girls definitely rock and the lyrics they write are very open for interpretation. Paulina, the drummer says, "So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that's what Disciple is about." I recommend watching some of their live performances especially from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX Mexico City from 2022 on their TH-cam channel. Also, EVOLVE from their 3rd album ERROR is a banger. You were perceptive in your take on the song. They wrote/sing this song from both sides of the argument, with Dany and Pau singing verses to reflect the oppositional viewpoints. That is a technique they use in the writing for a number of their songs.

It's funny that you mentioned Rockband. Actually, after all three were trained on classical piano from ages four to six, they were influenced to play each of their instruments by constantly playing the game. And, a couple of their early original songs are in the Rockband 4! They were only 9, 12 and 14 at the time. THAT'S how good they were as songwriters even back then! They attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music through a youth program at that time, too. They're very highly, formally trained musicians.

They leave interpretation of their lyrics to the listener for the most part, so either option you suggest for the meaning is probably right. They are currently turning in Europe opening some shows for Muse in the UK and France, playing some festivals in Germany and Switzerland, opening for Royal Blood in The Netherlands, and headlining some shows to sell out crowds in the UK, Spain, and Germany. They recently toured the US as a headliner with Plush and Holy Wars opening for them. They also hit some festivals along the way. They have some other stuff slated for when they come back to the Americas, but some of it hasn't been announced officially yet. and somewhere in there they will likely do some studio time to work on their fourth album. They released a new single about a month ago titled MORE. You should check that one out for a sample of what they are doing now. Disciple is from the Error Album which was written in 2019, recorded in 2020, and released in 2022 (due to the pandemic). Their second album titled Queen of the Murder Scene is a Rock novel about a girl who takes obsession too far, stlks and murders a guy, and suffers the aftermath of regret and madness as a result. They wrote the album then they were teens! Their first album titled XXI Century Blood is already 6 years old, but even so has some fan favorites they still perform in their headlining sets. They have around 50 songs they have composed and recorded. And they recorded (in a collaboration with Alessia Cara) their own interpretation of Metallica''s Enter Sandman for the Blacklist Album, honoring the 30th anniversary of the Black album. They also recorded an EP early in their career but they rarely play those songs anymore, but they are remarkably good considering they were recorded over 8 years ago. They also have a single written in Spanish titled Narcisista that is an answer to their domestic critics for singing most of their songs in English. They have one other Spanish song that appears on the Error album titled Martirio.

The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed.
Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto TH-cam. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood).
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for and won many Independent Music awards in 2019.
They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and Muse. They are now touring the world playing festivals and headlining concerts of their own.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. These 3 amazing sisters from Mexico have been a band for 10 years now. They started very young doing covers, and now they write and perform all their own material. Their latest release 'more' is an exception where they experimented writing with co-writers.

'Evolve', 'Animosity', 'Choke' and their completely rebuilt version of 'Enter Sandman' (which is on Metallica's _Blacklist_ album) are some of their newer stuff. Their 2nd album, _Queen of the Murder Scene,_ is a concept album that should be listened to in order.
You should really watch all 6 live videos from their concerts at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City last August. If you think this was energetic, you should see them live...
Oh yeah, and that crazy drum fill while Pau is singing? She does that live, and nails it every time. We wonder how she does it too. The only answer is that she's Pau, who can do things like that.

Great 1st time reaction to The Warning Chase & Remington!
The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! Check out their LIVE performance -

The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter, they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers; and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released 47 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their North American MAYDAY TOUR and ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Guys, you offended nobody. Any chance these girls get asked why they started playing they ALWAYS mention Rock Band the video game lmao. Thats how i got to know them, too, back in like 2015. In 2015, Rock Band 4 launched, and "Free Falling" was 1 of 65 songs on the disc. Also, in 2017, "Survive" was part of the rock band Rivals DLC, and thats when i really started listening to them. Harmonix, the developer, even interviewed them and gave them rock band 4 with instruments, lol. To this day, i play rock band and rock out to their songs. You offend no one ❤
Error, Queen of the Murder Scene, XXI Century Blood - their three full albums... nothing but amazing songs, every single track. They work SO hard on their lyrics, their songwriting, and are far more intelligent and deep and knowledgeable about both music and the topic matter of each song than you will find in most other groups. Their LIVE shows are amazing, even when they were young, like Live at Lunario (which was their first entire live performance of the Queen of the Murder Scene album... which should be listened to in album track order because it is a concept album ("rock novel" to use the band's words). 2022 august concert Live at Teatro Metropolitan was pro-shot pro audio, and is blue ray quality with several of the tracks free on youtube on the band's offical channel... their most recent live show with great audio and video... and easily their greatest, although Live and Lunario was also amazing... even though they were younger and MUCH more raw at lunario (more post-punk meet 80s prog/hard rock than they are now). And Dakota Bar live concert was also amazing, while they were even younger, and is essentially a live performance of their entire first album XXI Century Blood - also excellent audio, keeping in mind the age of the bassist in these shows. Alejandra, bassist, is only 18 NOW. And they have been a band since she was like 8... and I mean, A BAND (like in the studio recording, touring, studying at Berklee music school, studying with amazing legendary musicians.... they got a huge scholarship to go to Berklee from Ellen Degenerous when they were like 13/11/8 years old, or similar ages).
I think you guys should react to every song on this record because it's that good! The sooner, the better. That way, you can listen to the album as much as you like!

Really enjoyed your reaction and analysis. As you've probably already noticed, you're going to be inundated with comments from The Warning Army (TWA), their loyal, enthusiastic and large fan base. A few things I always share with those lucky enough to find The Warning for the first time: One, pay attention to their lyrics. They write hard rockin' songs with great hooks, but it's their deep beyond their years lyrics that capture your heart and give you something to think about. Two, their official videos are great, but it's their live performances that are the real magic. Check out anything from their concert at Teátro Metropolitán in August of '22, but Disciple from that concert would be a great apples to apples comparison for you see what I mean about them live. Third, they first caught the public eye with their cover of Enter Sadman when Ale was 9, Pau 12 and Danni 14. It now has over 24 million views and you should add yourselves to that list.

Welcome to The Warning! Right this way gentlemen, the entrance to the rabbit hole is just over there 🤣They don't have a single bad song in their entire catalogue! There's not much that hasn't already been said by others, so I'll just say that if you don't want to wait too much to listen to their other songs, feel free to do a few at a time! They also have a cover of Enter Sandman, which went viral back in 2014 when they were only 14, 12, and 9 that now has over 24M views. They were recently invited by Metallica to participate in the Blacklist Album for the Black album's 30th anniversary and they did a completely new re-imagining of the song with Alessia Cara. Many reactors have done both videos in the same reaction to really get a grasp on how far they've come. You can even add a 3rd reaction to a live version too. Their recent concert at the Teatro Metropolitan last August in simply incredible. They are even better live than in the studio! And as we say in TWA: You Have Been Warned!
The Warning is amazing! I stumbled across a video of theirs on TH-cam when they were just kids playing Enter Sandman and was amazed at their talent at such a young age. I have been hooked ever since! After listing to them, I did a quick search to see what else I was missing and found another family band, Liliac, playing Enter Sandman. When the female singer (somewhere around 14 or 15 at the time) started singing, I thought she was just lip-syncing! You should listen to Liliac (pronounced lil-e-ack) playing one of their original songs, Mars, live in Cumming GA back in 2019. I think you will find this is another great band to add to your favorites!

You should read the lyrics... also too late, but this song is even better live. Not to many bands are better live. This is one of them. Ironically they have two songs in the Rock Band playlist, because that's how they figured out as children the wanted play Rock! Lastly read the comments (English ones, unless you can speak or read spanish) the back story of these three (now ladies), is just as good as the band, watch your step... its a huge Rock Rabbit Hole!

If you’re like most of us, you’re about to embark on a fun journey of music and admiration of this band and their story. The Warning Disciple live at Teatro Metropolitan will blow your minds.
Every song from The Warning needs to be reviewed with the lyrics, innate message & back story, if available.
Because they are the most intellectual band to emerge in decades. Their profound metaphorical songwriting on contemporary society sets them apart from the crowd.
So you can always read what the band says about their songs during your reviews. Their ages at the time of composing a song & playing it in public should be noted too in reviews.
This song is about how social media controls us with fabricated info. Pau, the drummer, got inspired about the main riff in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home, composed the song on her piano including the bass intro and called her sisters. They were 19, 17 & 14 then.
That is why Dany, guitarist, starts the song as an antagonist with "The sun is YOUR enemy today" while Pau picks it up as a disciple in the 2nd verse with "The sun is MY enemy today". The sisters trade off lead vocals as demanded by the script. You can make out the difference in their vocal textures. Ale, the bassist, mainly harmonizes in the lower frequencies with infrequent falsettos as required by the song.
The Warning are masters in composing in minor scales. Quite often they introduce a full sequence of major chords for the same verse to break the monotony. And that downward bend in vocals here is typically The Warning with this progression G Bb E A G#m . I mean G & G#m in the same sequence - are you kidding me?
Among their 3 full albums & 2 EPs the girls have published a concept album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene where they have mused over unrequited love, death, self harm, suicide & lunacy. Pau was in middle school going through her emo phase when she tabled the 1st draft in front of her sisters. Just to keep it in context, five decades back Roger Waters dealt with death, lunacy & depression in The Dark Side of the Moon.
Dive into their rabbit hole that stretches back more than a decade to when they were playing classical piano as 6-8 year olds. Its all on YT. They have practically grown up on social media. After watching your reaction I am confident that you won't be disappointed. Happy diving from Kolkata, India.

Been there, done that. They already have several songs available on Rock Band. It's also where they "started" and determined which instruments they would eventually play in the band. Though, you are right, that this song would be perfect for the game (though I personally have never played it).

The Warning are a band of high level technicians whose prodigious maturity reflects in their musicianship. Trained on classical piano as children the "Less is more" approach has probably never been so subtly incorporated by a band before other than Pink Floyd.
Dany, the guitarist, lead vocalist & eldest sister, is a force of nature on the stage. Definitely among leading front women at the moment. Her voice is perfect for rock. And her multitasking while switching between rhythm, lead, singing & controlling the sound of her guitar through her pedal board is a sight to behold in live performances. She is a PRS guitar artist. Interestingly in her early & mid teens she was helped by Rick Toone, the bespoke guitar manufacturer. Dany was gifted a custom made Gibson by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm in middle of a concert last year. Recently she has been invited by Three Days grace to share the stage. Such is her talent & unique potential.
Ale, the bassist & the youngest, is a human metronome with perfect pitch has been a Spector artist since she was 13. In 2020 when she was 15 Spector custom designed an "Alejandra Villarreal Spector USA Signature 5 String" bass in a red speckled finish that was designed by her. Spector launched a series of bass in that "Ale's Inferno" finish. On Spector's website if you click on the featured artists link her photo with comments will pop up first before bassists old enough to be her grandfather.

I think this may be Paulina's best groove. The way the hi-hat rings when she loosens them up then that 32nd note riff... all while keeping the groove perfect. Her groove is legitimately world class. Can't really hear it too well on the studio version, but if you watch one of the Pau cam vids, its great. Im deaf af. Maybe you guys can hear it just fine. 😂
I watched your reaction and my first thought was, Man have they been warned! Like all of us in TWA you were caught by these girls/women, depending on when you started to listen to them. Despite being rock chicas they are kind of All-American Girls, even though they are from Mexico. They are clean livers who when you see them in their offstage videos are so ordinary it's almost shocking. When not performing they are just three sisters having fun no matter what they are doing. Onstage or in the studio, they are god tier.
