I just came here to say that I appreciate Bailey more than she could ever know. Unknowingly, she has gotten me through some of the most difficult times in my short 23 years on this planet. Without her funny enough I doubt I could have left my abusive ex husband..Always puts a smile on my face so Thank you Bailey!
I’m old enough to remember seeing ashtrays in airplanes. Each armrest had a little ashtray at the end with a tiny flip cover (that I thought was so fun to play with during my first airplane trip at 3 years old 🤢). Thinking about smoking on a plane seems wild, but I also grew up in the age of “smoking sections” of restaurants..where smoke just magically stayed in certain area 😂
Yes please on the adoption episode! Both of my parents were adopted and my older half sister was adopted out before I was born. So I'm very interested.

My grandfather was an American pilot with Continental Airlines. Would make a difference in the dawn of WWI but he didn’t want to leave! He did want to serve , but he flew rented for the Army Air Corps of Engineers later becoming the Air Force. He flew supplies and fallen heroes back home. He also flew continental.
Thanks for your work by making every passenger feel comfortable while being in a "metal box" , thousands of feet above the ground 😅 seriously respect that, I could never
United Airlines used to serve Happy Meals in the early 90's! I am not sure how long this United x Mcdonalds collab went on for but I was definitely served a Happy Meal, complete with a Ronald Mcdonalds piloting a United plane toy, in 1991.
52:39 I'm sorry but I refuse to believe you randomly chose this topic just from "studying Italy". You totally watched the SNL skit with Ariana Grande😂😂💕
22:47 reminded me of a time when I was working as a flight attendant for a Middle Eastern airline. During the meal service I was serving an Arab family and the only person that spoke English was their 8/9year old boy and when I asked him what they would like to eat, he was looking around nervously and finally said, ‘McDonalds’. 😂 I had to smile at his naivety and kindly explain that wasn’t a feasible option mid-air. I’m a flight attendant for a major US carrier and the work rules are crazy. They used to be much worse and for some companies the strict rules involving being married, getting pregnant and looking a certain way still apply. These companies are outside of the US. Think Emirates. However it is still true that in the US many flight crews don’t get paid until the aircraft door is shut and the plane pushes from the jetbridge. We don’t get paid during delays, we are stuck too. Some companies are now offering boarding pay but at a reduced rate of your hourly salary. My company doesn’t even offer that. And the job is entirely seniority based so you can begin working for another airline but you will be at the bottom of the totem pole, aka no control over your schedule, no control over the city you are based in, bottom of the list for flying benefits, etc. It’s a brutal industry and fluctuates constantly. Not the luxury it appears to be most of the time.
You need to do Bessie Coleman before Aerhart! Black american pilot at the same time as Ameilia, got her pilots licence in France because well.. America

On June 15, 1921, Coleman achieved her goal-making history as the first African American woman to earn a pilot's license. And because she did it in France, the first international woman pilot!! 46:07 does anyone remember the George Lopez episode where a plane crashed and they were all worried that someone at their factor may have caused it? That episode stressed me out lol. I couldn’t imagine knowing that a plane crashed because I messed up a piece of equipment, especially like a tiny washer or bolt
As someone who now works in the air industry, and watches so many Mayday/Air Crash Investigation, I love this video so much. Thanks for covering this topic, Bailey ❤
HI BAILEY!!! I’m early!! Can’t wait to get ready for work while I watch this! Also- I’m going to be getting Fatally Yours II soon… 😊❤ it looks beautiful
I'm obsessed with the intro!! I hope you do another one in the future! I loved this episode. You made me laugh a lot. Also I love the music added in whenever you have a side note or go off topic 😅 love you girl!!💜 I've never been on a plane before, it terrifies me to think of being stuck in this tiny tube thousands of miles in the air!
They only go between about 5 and 8 miles above the ground, and they're anything but tiny. Air travel is still the safest way to get from one place to another, much safer than driving. I hope you try it, it's great!
I used to love flying until I started snoring. Last time I flew the lady next to me woke me up and said, "You're snoring really loudly." I just about died from embarrassment🤦♀
Do you and Mile Higher talk? Cause they just covered the D.B Cooper mystery and talked about air travel during the 70’s. If not it’s a crazy coincidence!
Hey Bailey! Found you during Covid and love your sense of humor and story telling style. So excited you covered Boeing and the whistle blower ordeals. John Barnett died a mile down the road from my house! His autopsy came to a lab I worked at and was treated as ROUTINE 🫥….suspish for sure. Love you on Dark History and MMM. Keep the hot juicy history goss coming. Love you lots!
If ya'll think Joan is a pretty bird, wait until until the Crowford family reunion and you guys get to see her beautiful sister Cindy Crowford! Rumor has it she use to be a "Powerline Model"! She use to walk up and down that Powerline with a strut you can't even imagine! Lol

THAT was quite the incredible intro Bailey!😜🤩✈️💜🖤 Loved it!! I'm afraid to continue watching though... Flying to Vegas for New Years week to see my son! WHY do things like this come up to freak you out when you're about ready to fly somewhere? 😳🤦🏼♀️😂😂
That door and windows better stay put, dang it!! 😳 Hope the right screws are in place on my planes out there and back. Lol 😆 Oh the anxiety! 🤦🏼♀️ I should have waited to watch this one till I got back! 🤣
So I LIVE *right next to* the biggest boeing building that exists, like I see it out my bedroom window it's maybe a 15 min waLk. And I BEEN terrified bc of all the stuff on the news abt planes and the fact I *live right here* but this just makes it all that much scarier. Like yay- boeing has alwAYS been a tad sketch- cuTe 🥰😬
As someone who works as a screening officer for TSA, you’d be surprised how many people come through after the holidays. It’s a calm before the storm for us
I love your intro! So awesome! Thank you, Bailey. You are definitely one of a kind. I look forward to your uploads om Mondays and Thursdays. You rock!!!!
Hi Bailey! I’m so glad I found your videos-they’ve been such a bright spot for me lately. I’ve been feeling a little ‘blah,’ but now I’ve got something exciting to look forward to after work. Would you consider doing a Dark History episode on groupies and rockstar girlfriends from the ’60s-’70s? Or maybe dive into the parasocial relationships between celebs and their fans/stans? Sending love your way-thanks for all that you do!
Yesss.. I love DH with my very favorite teach 🖤 and I am so here for the tea on airports. Some of my favorite things to watch on YT are cop cam videos of people losing their mind at the airport! People be getting violent if they miss their flight! 😂😂😂
20:38 I'm all for giving women credit when it's due, but "they were already doing this in Europe, but Ellen CREATES this profession!" 😂 Right, she's an American, so of course she has to be the inventor. "...mumble mumble Europe mumble, BUT USA! USA!" 😅 It's okay to just say she broke barriers and persuaded people letting women work in planes too 🤷♀️
From one writer and editor to another....Bravo. Best work i have seen over the years of watching Bailey. Love your team Bailey. 🎉🎉🎉 Keep shining gf...always cheering for you and your success. ❤
I love listening to you tell stories. They are fun & provocative. I hope all is well with you!! You have such an amazing personality. Beautiful on the inside & out. Can’t wait till next weeks story♥️
I’ve learned a bit about this. It’s very fascinating. You look beautiful as always queen! Joan and Paul ain’t looking too shabby either. Also, I’m using Apostrophe now, and used your link. 🖤
Bailey, I love you so much. I get up crazy early to manage a bagel shop and Tuesday and Friday morning make up sessions with you at 3 or 4am get me through the week. I started following you just before Covid and it's genuinely inspiring to see how much you and your channel have grown. The Dark History addition went straight to my heart ( I love history). I would love to hear you talk about Catherine the Great. She's one of my favorite historical characters and her life was actually bonkers. Such an icon, totally your cup of Russian Tea. Anyway, thank you for everything. You've seriously gotten me through some rough times and I look forward to many more years of watching and lurking. 😅

My first flight was in 1955. I was eight. Folks dressed nicely to fly. Meals were actually meals and had real utensils. You could actually cut something with the knife and get the bite on the fork! I had to laugh about all your “fear of flying” jokes! Same, girl!! Flying is literally for the birds!
39:39 why does this look like Alyssa Edwards 😂
Bailey, you are doing real, honest to goodness journalism. Great episode!
The intro killed it🔥
46:07 does anyone remember the George Lopez episode where a plane crashed and they were all worried that someone at their factor may have caused it? That episode stressed me out lol. I couldn’t imagine knowing that a plane crashed because I messed up a piece of equipment, especially like a tiny washer or bolt
Wish I could have watched yesterday! Just got home from a flight on United and would love to watch this while in the air!!! ✈️✈️✈️
Bailey!!! Love this episode! Could you do a dark history of the Gulags (labor camps) in USSR Russia??? SO sick and twisted, but very interesting.
❤happy dark history Thursday you just made my day!!
Yay! A new episode! Can’t wait to watch!
I used to love flying until I started snoring. Last time I flew the lady next to me woke me up and said, "You're snoring really loudly." I just about died from embarrassment🤦♀
"Read more books" as I'm sitting in the library parking lot😂
Do you and Mile Higher talk? Cause they just covered the D.B Cooper mystery and talked about air travel during the 70’s. If not it’s a crazy coincidence!
Definitely an episode on Amelia airhart
Lol
I love this topic ! Queen Bailey ❤ love you
Love the show Dark history team! Y'all keep me company when my due is at work! I'd love to see an episode on the ocean gate
Yesss
Guuuuuurllllllll!!! Cutest intro effing eveeeeeeeeeeer! In my daydreams I get to style you like a little Barbie... . And that's totally NOT weird... Right? Lol ❤ big hugs from Az!
Yay! So excited to learn today
My goodness, that intro was EVERYTHING, Bailey and the team are a complete joy 🖤
Best birthday gift!(: thanks bailey!(: ❤
Happy Birthday!
Happiest birthday.
Love the creativity of the intro Bailey ✨✨✨
As a flight attendant that PA was goldennnnn!! Love your videos and humour, stay shining!👑
Btw love your crew!
Ive never been this early before. I’m nervoussssss 🤭
An episode on Amelia Earheart would be lovely!
USA!" 😅 It's okay to just say she broke barriers and persuaded people letting women work in planes too 🤷♀️
Joan throwing the pumpkin at Bailey at 38:46 was top tier iconic diva behavior lol
From one writer and editor to another....Bravo.
Best work i have seen over the years of watching Bailey. Love your team Bailey. 🎉🎉🎉
Keep shining gf...always cheering for you and your success. ❤
Hahah yes the turkey coma Bailey! I live for it! 😅 but also, your hair and makeup is super gorg!!! As always hahah!
3:43 ❤❤❤😊Yesss! An episode for my evening wind down ❤😂🎉Thank you Bailey 😊
