Why wouldn't you use a couple feet of mono or floro leader on the end of the braid?! You would get more bites I bet. Maybe try some grouper fishin' with that rig? Catching new saltwater species is more fun to watch than more bass fishin'. But this is fun too.

I use 80 for heavy flipping and inshore and a little off shore
