I've bought the dock runner for my little brother and we ended up catching a 3 pounder on it, one of the hardest fights of my life lol
Caught a tarpon on mine but had to change the reel for that battle!
It's so much fun.. I take mine every trip and alternate use with my other rod.. my biggest fish on my dock runner is a 5.8 pound largie. Thats with an upgrade reel though.

You can catch a 100+ pound fish on this thing no problem and that’s no joke

Don’t sleep on the dock runner. That thing is a work horse, I never go to a pier without it. I got a 2000 size reel with 20lb braid on it and it never lets me down.
what reel do you use for it?
I use the dock runner for small rivers and creeks for trout! It’s a great little combo!

I've only bought the dock runner but I've caught so many fish with it of all sizes. From small bluegills to 25lb carp, it is a great rod for how cheap it is.

I was just at wallmark and all they had were the push button reeled version. Kinda reminded me of what I used for a little while as a child fishing off the bridge while my dad got drunk with his friends. It was within walking distsnce of my grandmas so it was cool.
I have not seen the dart anywhere for sale yet though.

The dock runner is my main rod. Had it since September and the spring inside just broke. Think the bearing is starting to go to. 😂
Bought a new one the other day and put 50 pound braid on it.

I’m gonna go with one not mentioned on the video…I’m a big fan of the Pitchin’ Stik from Shakespeare. I caught my first two crappies on one a year and a half ago. They are a great all around pond and creek slayer!!

I'm a land surveyor in Orlando, always keep a dock runner in the work truck. I get to some great unfished lil ponds sometimes.

I’d like to see you buy and compare the dock demon from Walmart versus one from another store. I’ve always heard the stuff at Walmart is made specifically for Walmart and is lower quality hence why it’s cheaper. I’ve definitely noticed that with some of the products I’ve bought there before but I’d like to see if you can tell a significant difference in quality.
I've fished with both but I prefer the dock runner. Yak pack always has the best challenge videos. I do have a challenge for yak pack the trout and pan fish mystery tackle box challenge.

I would have to go with the dock demon spinning combo, brakes my heart it wasn't in the video but that's ok still enjoyed it.
I would say the dock runner is the one I think will do best.

Hey TJ love the vids but a pushbutton vs. spinning reel that ain't fair. But my six y/o loves his dock demon spinning combo and has pulled in some nice cats on it. Keep the vids coming if your ever in western Arkansas holler at me we can go wet a hook.
