Really love watching you and the guys, I do mainly pond fishing back home with my boyfriend and have used a lot of your tips and tricks and actually just bought my first baitcaster because of you guys!! Thanks for the awesome content! For pond fishing I use the junebug lizards and they work so well!
I have the lews combo and I definitely recommend it out of all my combos it’s definitely my favorite it so smooth and light and I’ve even caught my pb twice with it
I have the Xfinity spinning combo from Walmart was my first Lew's rod and it's still one of my favorites I have a Mach Crush and a smash and the Xfinity is as good as any put 15 lb braid and let her eat
At least it's warm there I live here in santa fe, nm it snowed last night it's tricky this time of year to fish and I love your vids especially your older ones on getting started with bass fishing I don't got much to spend on gear but your vids boosted my confidence in you don't need high price gear thanks for that good luck with your channel and on the water
When are you guys coming to Orlando, if you do please come to South Orlando, we have the best Ponds here!! would Love to see you guys in person and say hi and take pictures.
Got my googan soft plastic bundle last week and they catch fish! Northwest is a bit differnt in colors that work but they sent great colors for my regin and thanks for your content!! Love watchin yakpak and norm
A very good tip to pay attention to most over look it is water clarity the clearer the water the best is to run darker colored baits like green pumpkin the muddier the water go with bright colors like chartreuse iv caught more an big fish doing this a lot
The rebel grasshopper or cricket! That’s like the ultimate pond bass lure. I’ve caught them on medium light tackle using 2000 series spinning reels with treble hook version and the single tail hook version.
Just like YakPak was saying, to help people out: Midwest fishing at the end of summer the 4 inch Yamamoto WTRMLN W/CPR/ORNG W/RED worms will do the trick!
I have green line on my bait caster and I fish Where there is not a lot of vegetation on top and the water is kind of clear should I keep that line or will it affect the fishing?
Drop shot, thats what I would add in. I just moved to Arizona and its be different. Nothing I've used where I used to live works. But man the drop shot just slays em. So now a drop shot is what i carry everywhere.
I actually got my new PB today on a Black and Blue Frog, 6lb 10oz. Left the scale in the car on the other side of a big pond, I literally sprinted about 350-400 yards holding a bass to grab my scale, glad I did though.
Are these good ideas for ponds in the Midwest? I know the main pond I fish is really pressured but I have tried all kinds of lures and only caught 1 bass out of it
I may just have to try a fluke now, I have like 5 or 6 bags of flukes but never had confidence in them I'm also going to try to use some speed worms since yall talk so greatly of them😂
@fishing with yakpak Im from Vegas so the only thing is change is a spinnerbait. We have all man-made lakes so some and really rocky. I don't need to worry about grass as much as you.
Need a recommendation for a pretty decent all around spinning rod and reel set up. Looking to spend $200ish, could go to $300 if it’s really worth it. Bass fishing mostly, and throw everything.

I like your selections, but omg, Norm was dropping some serious knowledge. Way to go Norm and great video Yak Pak
3:23 i bought that exact same lews combo. Love it. Regreased and oiled just cause and its smooth and silk. Not bad for only 8 bearings.
The only thing I would change is that you get a jig or a baby brush hog
Yakpak coming in clutch with the budget deals, I definitely need these
Hey yakpak your one of the best fishing you tubers as soon as you post I watch it keep the great work
I totally agree with norm about the rattle trap that was the first lure I learned to throw

Dude I love watching these fishing tackle shopping vids
Loved the content and action on this video and informative knowledge, let’s Go Dudes
Dude you and norm are the best y’all make me happy
This time of year I love the mini chrome and blue back
Video suggestion : use a 10 inch spooltek in freshwater for bass
The only thing I would add to that would be a beetle spin with small minnow soft plastics ... I’ve caught some donkeys with those
I own this rod and it’s for sure one of my favorites
The selections you guys make are awesome, I rate them a 10.
I got a notification and I saw it was a upload from yakpak and I didn't hesitate bc he's my favorite fishing TH-camr

I love to use green pumpkin lizard in ponds, buzz baits and chatterbaits
Beatle spin! That's always my stand-by.
I liked your and Norm's selections. I think your choices were right on! I would have put a small lipless crank bait in the mix just for good measure.
I have the Lews Ininity spin caster, LOVE it. Plus i have several other Lews combo's.
Looks like a very good selection of baits. I think they would rate a 10.
My go to pod lure is the zoom lemon pepper lizards I always seem to have good luck with those
Need some terminal tackle.. Weights and hooks.
I love you and Norm video a lot

Yak pak be gridin on fire vids
I love the tackle box type videos
The XJ is a really good rod, caught my pb of 7.3 on it, i lost my pole in a creek tho😂
I love all the lures y'all picked, but I'd add a beatle spin and a jig
I travelled to another town’s Walmart because they were the only one that had the Lew’s Lazer HS rods from your last vid. Great rod for only $30!
need to put it in stores "The Yak PAck"
I have one it is great
During summer the best bate is a shad live target swimming bate it works in most places
What would I do in life without these fire vids, btw i caught a 4 pounder today y’all 😊😎
1st so glad I've been waiting
Got my googan soft plastic bundle last week and they catch fish! Northwest is a bit differnt in colors that work but they sent great colors for my regin and thanks for your content!! Love watchin yakpak and norm
The zoom red shad and a all white chatter bait are my go to spring and fall fishing bait
But caught my pb on a rage swimmer electric shad
If have to add some type of soft plastic craw. I seem to use them more than anything in a pond.
A very good tip to pay attention to most over look it is water clarity the clearer the water the best is to run darker colored baits like green pumpkin the muddier the water go with bright colors like chartreuse iv caught more an big fish doing this a lot
I have the exact same Lews xfinity xj rod and reel and I love it I actually caught my pb on it would definitely recommend
The rebel grasshopper or cricket! That’s like the ultimate pond bass lure. I’ve caught them on medium light tackle using 2000 series spinning reels with treble hook version and the single tail hook version.

Know it’s gonna be a bangerrr
Just like YakPak was saying, to help people out: Midwest fishing at the end of summer the 4 inch Yamamoto WTRMLN W/CPR/ORNG W/RED worms will do the trick!

I have that lews bait caster combo, straight fire 🔥🔥
Keep up the grind bro nice work man
I would go with a rebel pop r in Tennessee shad. I have always had good luck with it.
Love your vids man keep it up l look up to you
I’ve never seen a bluegill that dark. I’m used to seeing them as a lighter colored fish up north but man, those look pretty.
Hey I’m from Idaho! Love how that’s the first thing that comes to mind🤣
Drop shot, thats what I would add in. I just moved to Arizona and its be different. Nothing I've used where I used to live works. But man the drop shot just slays em. So now a drop shot is what i carry everywhere.

New to fishing. Enjoyed this video but I wish you had shown us how the set up each bait shown in the video.
I actually got my new PB today on a Black and Blue Frog, 6lb 10oz. Left the scale in the car on the other side of a big pond, I literally sprinted about 350-400 yards holding a bass to grab my scale, glad I did though.
Pond fishing rocks!!
Expected a give away on that Lee's combo you did last video. Slackers 😂
We are Pond Hoppers. It's in our group name......Fort Hood Pond Hoppers. Love the videos. Glad to see a fellow Soldier to be successful.
A white mister twister with a 1/8oz white/chartreuse jighead is the most underrated lure in the history of underrated lures.
Does anyone knows what rod and reel he's fishing with? No lie, it's a sick and clean set up
I'm pretty sure it's the lews pro ti combo. I have it also and its absolutely awesome!!!!
Are these good ideas for ponds in the Midwest? I know the main pond I fish is really pressured but I have tried all kinds of lures and only caught 1 bass out of it
Keep up the content man good job.
I may just have to try a fluke now, I have like 5 or 6 bags of flukes but never had confidence in them
I'm also going to try to use some speed worms since yall talk so greatly of them😂
You can use the front of the curly worm for a ned rig
@fishing with yakpak Im from Vegas so the only thing is change is a spinnerbait. We have all man-made lakes so some and really rocky. I don't need to worry about grass as much as you.
This summer for whatever reason fish by me (Charleston, SC) have been on with the good ole wacky rig stick bait
Add a finesse jig with a hula grub trailer, and a spinner bait.
I love the budget fishing building bass own kit diy fishing kits keep me coming from academy
Yo you make my day all the time😃
I needed this video so bad
Need a recommendation for a pretty decent all around spinning rod and reel set up. Looking to spend $200ish, could go to $300 if it’s really worth it. Bass fishing mostly, and throw everything.
Hey man. You should do a fishing challenge using a "rocket fishing rod" that'd be hillarious!
Here in iowa I can wait for winter and the big big ones you catch one if your lucky and im not😪
Do you always use braid,I live in nwf just wondering.
