I’m looking at moving to Detroit, and have been doing my due diligence regarding crime statistics, best neighborhoods to raise a family, and so on. I spotted a particular old Mansion on Longfellow St, but wanted to know more about the area. And today I spotted this video , which gave me a more in depth overview of the neighborhood and its rich history. Thank You for posting it.
I’m from Detroit. Boston Edison, Indian Village, West Village, East English Village, Sherwood Forest. We have SOOO many dope areas with amazing historic homes!

Still surrounded by ghetto wonderland and the property theft in these "nice" areas of Detroit is still a big problem. Plus, the Detroit school system is one of the worst in the United States.

That’s awesome! Yes, I think it may be a tie between Boston Edison, Indian Village, Detroit Golf and Palmer Woods for the most beautiful neighborhood and homes in Detroit.

Aren't they? This neighborhood was once occupied by Detroit's elite and many people don't realize that Detroit was once the wealthiest US city at one point!
It's very hard to take a peek inside of them because they are all privately owned but you can visit the Ford Mansion which is not too far away to get an idea of how beautiful the interiors of these Boston Edison homes are!
This is outstanding i love old historic mansions so so beautiful you dont see much like this these homes are awesome

@@TravelingOnStardust the brick mansions i live in Kenosha wi and there are a few beautiful old brick mansions on lake Michigan its a smaller town so its a small historic area brick mansions are my favorite like the ones in Detroit
@@adventures223 The architecture is lovely! I enjoy looking at these homes too. The level of craftsmanship is much higher in comparison to homes of today.

My friend owns a house in Boston-Edison on Longfellow. It's a beautiful, ornate home, but has its downsides as well. One thing is the constant and EXPENSIVE upkeep. NOT FOR ME!!!

why is it you guys only stay on the East side of Boston Edison, there are some great houses on the west side on the other side of Lodge fwy, BE has 900 homes there next video can we see home on the west side of BE its not fare to those who live there show their houses to
Thanks for your comment! I picked a few of the most famous homes to showcase but there are many great sections of Boston Edison as well as all the other fabulous neighborhoods in Detroit!
