Chelsea are a mess. As the sky sports panel eluded to far more successful teams are not doing what Chelsea are in fact most teams in world football are not and there's a clear reason for that. Many Chelsea players won't play and with the lucrative contracts they are on selling them will be very difficult. Player unrest will kick in its a terrible formula that does not work in proffesional football not the football the Chelsea owners are accustomed to in USA and basketball in USA they have obviously used the american model to influence how they build their squad most of us know it won't work pochittino did as well hence why he left

@@bendriscoll1203is it any coincidence that United are American owned as well?. Americans and football just don’t mix, they haven’t the slightest idea what they’re doing. The second they took Chelsea from Roman and it looked like boehly was gonna get it I knew that Chelsea were in for the same fate as us United fans with the glazers. You can’t have Americans owning your teams as they just don’t care enough about the game, well maybe not ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac but they are the exceptions
@@mariostans7031 I think it’s definitely related. American sport isn’t really about winning, it’s about generating money. There’s no promotion/relegation so there’s no real consequences. All they care about is money, that’s why these American owners come and buy premier league clubs, not because they actually want to win or they’re bothered about the club succeeding.
@@bendriscoll1203 My point is that there was a common thought that Chelsea wouldn't be able to spend as freely like with Abramovic. You'd think new owners would have a better more stable environment but less money.... yet they've gone the opposite way.
*WARNING*: Long finance rant below... Chelsea is a classic 10-year asset management play... The clues are there that the Premier League clubs will push for rules/a system that allows clubs to value individual players without having to sell that player to prove a value. It's likely that a true 'NAV' (net asset value) of a club's squad will emerge that replaces PSR and allows clubs to prove their liquidity/NAV by demonstrating each player's value minus amortised liabilities, without needing to sell the player to prove the value. The NAV figure is important because the value increase of a player can quickly be multiples of their amortised liability... Cole Palmer is what now? £100m-£125m? So he's only a £6m per year liability on Chelsea's books but his value increase is 10x the £6m annual amortised liability. Lastly, any NAV rule would also have to limit player registrations, otherwise a model like Chelsea would continue to acquire promising players for £20m-£40m... It might sound counterintuitive, but buying multiple £20m-£40m players actually reduces the risk, because most they might need to write off is £20m-£40m but, like Palmer, a £40m outlay could triple to £120m. Sorry for the rant but it's my line of work.
So your contention is that Chelsea's model is predicated on a dramatic change in the manner premier league clubs budget for players? Does this change give more credibility to Chelsea's methods?

Chelsea has always had 30 “baba rahman’s” in the books. Why’re people forgetting this is the same club that had the loan army. They’ve always had a lot of players outside their main squad and sold them if they’re not good enough. The likes of Courtois came from there
@@AbdulB Difference is Abramovich built a World class team, then did the stockpiling talent thing. I know there's money to be made in buying a prospect, then loaning him out for a fee, but when the players are on 100k a week for 8 years that's a commitment of £45.6M on wages alone.
La Masia begs to differ. There's one thing incredibly smart about Barcelona and that's their academy. And saying this as a fan of Man United who are known well for their academy graduates, I would argue that right now Barcelona has the best academy in the world.

No axe to grind with Chelsea as a club but come on. 40 players! Is it really going to work? The finances involved are truly mind boggling....it really feels like the owners are making it up as they go along.
I'm surprised any player would want to go there, with a squad that large what is your playing time going to be like, everyone is a bench warmer and you each get 30mins a month?
That's honestly what it looks like to me! Like they don't care if all this investing in players goes poorly because its drug money or something. Or else they are trying to emulate American sports teams & their contract structure. I started watching some MLB last year, a lot of the good/decent players seem to sign these 8+ year deals when its extension time. From what I've seen MLB teams also tend to trade players & "prospects" rather than money for transfers. All those teams have "farms" of young talent who are traded for experienced, proven players as part of deals. If Chelsea were an MLB team, they would have a big farm to trade with. Maybe Todd anticipates thats how deals will be done in future?
I think they do know what they're doing. They're trying to turn football into their version, where players are commodities to be traded and teams have 100's on the books to swapped like pokemon cards.
Lifelong friend intergenerational fan should remember where Chelsea were before Roman came along pumping his dirty Soviet money into the club that was. You're currently back where you were
@@SimBir08mate, American football isn’t like that at all. Maybe 30-40% of the salary is guaranteed on average, so they don’t sign contract of more than 5 years typically. You’re also only allowed 53 roster spots and within a hard cap spending limit, so you’re literally limited on how many you can have. Maybe you can say it’s like baseball. (If that’s what you meant, disregard this comment lol)
Carragher: "Play for what?" 40 players. How the hell do you get anything to sync with them to get a proper lineup? This isn't a club; it's a brokerage for players, collect, resell, and make a commission off of them.
This is why you shouldn't listen to pundits. Chelsea is starting to gel. They have 2 x strong 11's that can rotate and avoid injuries. Strasbourg are also benefitting from the loans/sales from Chelsea, top talents getting loads of game time and experience. It's really starting to tick. in 3 or 4 years, Chelsea will have 'ruined football' as they'll have to make minimal signings and have the best squad in Europe, and their income vs outgoings will be ridiculous.
What some people forget is that yes they have 45+ players in their squad, but they can only register 25. This is what makes their recruitment even more barmy
Sterling is the beginning of how the future will be for chelsea when selling players. Long contracts big wages.. players wont want to leave unless they are paid off the wage difference. In few yrs.. Mudryk, Jackson etc
Difference being Sterling has a huge contract that he will be happy sitting on, other players are still on middling wages so if their option is to sit and earn an ok amount or get a move and earn more plus playing time to get an even bigger potential move then most of those guys will push for a move. The selling price will be the sticking point more than the players.
@@CB-lw7ty Players worth 30k a week have no probs sitting on a 90k a week contract for 8 years. They will just go out on loan while the club subs their wages.
This nonsense getting likes because it is easy to hate Chelsea and spread misinformation. Besides Sterling all the new Chelsea signings aren't paid crazy high wages.
@@interstellarbeatteller9306 Absolutely, but as you've seen in the past with Chelsea loanee's, clubs will take a gamble on Chelsea players because they've been at Chelsea (even when they've never played there) so you have 90k a week contract or someone like Roma taking a punt on you for 80k plus game time you can use to get a raise or move to a bigger club, what's more likely? Sit on 90k at Chelsea or push for that move, most will push for the move because the opportunity is bigger than sitting on your hands and 90k is the most you'll get when you're not playing.
There are not 6 gks.. there are 7 total.. but one is already sold with a buy back.. one was loaned as soon as he was bought. One is on his way to be sold... That leaves 4.. kepa they are looking for offers and hes training with the u21's . There are 3 keepers in the squad
But you are somehow missing the point, by glazing over the point. Sanchez was bought from Brighton, did poorly and was replaced by Petrovic, who did well, yet they are buying his replacement and try to offload him. Somehow Sanchez was chosen for the first match. They have stacked goalkeepers and you explain it with that they are trying to offload them again, thus trimming from their own self-inflicted problem of player stacking. Kepa the most expensively acquired goalkeeper is surplus to requirement and training with u21s, hoping he can return to Real on loan, which requires Real to sell Lunin. We got a situation where none of the keepers know if they have a future at the club, and they can be replaced at any given time, that is not a healthy environment.
Petrovic is out cuz he can't play with his feet... They bought in Jorgensen but he's come in very recently.. so he might start after a few games... Sanchez is starting in the meantime. Petrovic will be sold for immediate profit in a year.. cuz it was a really good deal . Or sold to strausberg on a buy back...
I agree that we need to stop buying players....but we need to stop buying the wrong players, arguably to make a sustainable team that can challenge back at the top you'd still need to sell half the squad and re-buy better or more fitting players there.
As a Chelsea fan I can’t believe I’m saying this but Neville is right 😭😭it’s getting out of hand and the fan base is getting more toxic based on the new philosophy
Enzo Fernández for British record £106.8m fee was a joke. I hope they freeze him out. and make him train with the U21. McTmomanay is available from United for £96.2 m and is miles better that Enzo misfit.
6-7 years on a low base salary with performance related bonuses. Or 4-5 years on a high base salary where you can sit there and do nothing. No logic to your argument. More money over a shorter time beats the same money over a longer time, particularly when you can sign for a free if you can run your contract down and get a massive signing bonus (mbappe?). So being tied into a long, low base salary contract is counter productive if all you care about is money
Lads la where's your heart , passion.... Yeah I'd take the doe too but wow it's chelshite tho id need to play can still find a decent wage somewhere else init
He did though he still hates Sterling for leaving Liverpool. A person who knows Sterling (Gary) said he is not like that and here anger when he answered Gary.
It’s clear that the manager has no control over what players are being signed. We know what happened at Liverpool hicks/gillet were in charge. Same thing here, Carra was actually being serious, where are the players getting changed 😂
It is also the fact you have players like NKunku who can play in several positions. How do you train with no idea not only if you are going to play but WHERE you are going to play next week
The weirdest thing with Chelsea’s transfers is they seem to mainly buy wingers even though they’re well stocked in that position. After all the money they’ve spent they have Jackson up front and Sanchez in goal and neither look good enough to be honest.
Sanchez will be dropped for Jorgensen and osimhen will come in to replace jackson. And then some of the wingers will be farmed out. Angelo Gabriel is already on his way, Sterling will be next. Even the likes of mudryk and madueke wont be safe
They sign players in long contract. Example, Enzo Fernandez sign 8 years contract for 100 million. Chelsea didn't pay full price 100 to Benfica but they pay in instalment every years. They also selling theirs own players, so the financial book really balance & didn't broke the ffp
This is getting a bit too much attention now. Of the '43' registered players; about 7 of them are emergency options but are primarily playing for the u21s (Matos, Bergstrom, Washington etc) and about 12-15 will be sold; at least 5 of which are pretty much done deals. If they hadn't sold half a squad in two weeks before, I'd be a LOT more sceptical but I genuinely expect them to go into the season with 28-30 players
But why are they churning through so many players in the first place? Why are they piling up wide forward after wide forward when they've only just bought a hatful of players in those positions? Why not try to sign a proper striker? Why?
Exactly, what other club do they count every single player as part of the first team squad, even if they’re youth players or even on loan. It’s also not the end of the transfer window yet, 8-10 of those players are going to be gone within the next 10 days. Doesn’t fit the narrative though
All of the players Jamie mentioned were on the field at the same time by the way. Chelsea is anticipating a transfer ban for infringements during the Abramovich era, it was in the news sometime last season. Not sure if hoarding talent is the best strategy but they seem to think so.

@@neobriano it’s because of FFP. Let’s say they sign a new guy for 100 million and give him a 10 year deal. FFP will add 10 mill a year to their spending for the next 10 years. The 100 mill will be spread across the length of the contract. If they sell that player after 3 years, whatever they sell him for 70 million will be deducted from that sale because they still owe it. Now if they sell a homegrown player it’s 100% profit. There was no transfer fee so there will be nothing to deduct from the sale. So it’s much better for FFP to sell a homegrown player. Carragher is absolutely spot on. This has nothing to do with building a world class team and fighting for trophies. This is either an investment fund trying to make money in the long run or a money laundering scheme. As a player you have no reason for being there since winning matches is not on the club’s priority list

Enzo isn’t a 100 million pound player in terms of accounting. He’s contact is still 2031. That’s 7 years left. He’s a 14.5 million player annually. That’s how Americans view money. We just see the 100 million price and bulk at it. For a company like Clearlake (our owners) that’s peanuts. However, i do not like how they treat players. They are humans not assets. And it could potentially bite them in ass, if they don’t start winning. Who wants to be treated like that?
Still too much money for a slightly above average player. Like so many others in the squad. Let’s be real, they are probably just interested in making as much transactions as possible in the shortest amount of time. Could you guess why?
Footballers probably dream of being treated that way. These young players joining Chelsea have guaranteed money for 5/6 years minimum. Football as a profession is unpredictable, players can get injuries, illnesses or just fail at the top level, and it won't matter because their money is still there in the long term. In football that's the ideal situation for players.
that is false as there is a 5 year limit on amortisation on any new contracts or contract extensions since the start of 2024 and enzo has had his contract extended since start of 2024
Everyone can see how this is going to end. There is no way Maresca can manage a squad this big (not his fault, no manager could). Chelsea’s results will slip as a result, leading to fans calling for him to go and venting at the ownership. Ownership will sack the manager in response, replace him with someone new, bring in a whole load of new players, and thus the cycle repeats. Chelsea are done as a title winning side for a decade at least.
Its 25-27 players that are training with the 1st team! Not 40 plus! Maresca has even been on record saying this! Others are being loaned out or actively looking for new clubs. Chelsea has always been a club that buys and loans to bring in profit, even when roman was owner. This isn't new! The longer contracts mean that their market value drops slower than say a 3 year deal. It is risky, but it means that if the big clubs come for the young talented stars then it'll means they have to pay more to realise them. Problem is the media isn't a patient animal
What is new was that during Roman, he built a team that would always compete for trophies and those that played were ready made footballers. The academy was used to sponsor this. By the end of his regime, the success halted, because they bought a lot of duds for the money that the academy players, who in themselves were better players gained them. Selling more players just meant they could replace those that didn't work. But that is not what is going on now. They are buying 10-15 players a season, with very little attention to competitiveness. They offload players that have made it, or sell players that are better than the ones that remain. They have signed loads of inexperienced players, but instead of letting them over time gain experience they are chopping and changing every season with new players for the simple reason of just having new players coming and going. Chelsea are in a position now they have to sell players every season, and their team building is atrocious and their performances reflect it. They have fired managers even more frequently than Abramovich, by sacking 2 managers a season, that in themselves can't manage something this unmanageable, because there are no footballing decisions, but purely business decisions and they are not very good decisions. You try to argue they only have 25-27 players, even though Enzo said he can't operate with more than 30 players. Chelsea have a squad of 43, so even if they are trimmed in training they are still attached players and most of which are recently bought players, they don't know what to do with. And that is not even counting their academy players.
Absolutely clueless…. No 9 year contract bring the value down slower 😂 and what you mean profit on players, how can you profit on a 100m player? A 60m player who doesn’t play? Players that no one wants to loans or buy.. your ass deluded as your club 😂
@@bendriscoll1203 Not a shambles mate, stop listening to the propaganda merchants, £350m in sales incoming before the window closes and fabulous young talents signed. The future is bright.
I mean your owner also clearly isn’t patient because he sacked Poch for finishing 6th with a good end to the season. If it pays off a lot of critics are going to be eating humble pie. And I’ll be one of them. But there are clearly reasons people haven’t done this move before. Your club has a couple of examples in history of players you got stuck with (Bogarde and Drinkwater immediately spring to mind, arguably Lukaku to an extent). Now under the old system of 4-5 year contracts they were bad enough. If someone like Lavia or Mudryk is the new Bogarde and they refuse to leave you are even more screwed then you were before. Or even (and I obviously hope this doesn’t happen to anyone) but you end up with someone like Enzo getting a bad injury in a similar vein to someone like Jimenez (who was never the same after that head injury) and you are stuck with them for the best part of a decade. Again I could be looking silly in 5 years. But I’d argue the odds are far more strongly that this isn’t going to work.
The fact is I’m not against signing young players if they are good. But basically forcing out your academy graduates is kinda giving the message to the current academy players. We don’t give a toss about you. I can’t name a single player that’s come out of the academy since they took over that’s still in this team. Not a Chelsea supporter, but here's my best guess. Boehly probably considers it cheaper to change managers/coaches than rotate out parts of the entire squad, which new incoming mamagers usually want. So rather he thinks building this pool of high potential moldable players, he can just give any incoming manager the pick of the lot to implement whatever philosophy with these young unknown (less ego so easier to manage) players. And if it doesn't work out, change managers and try again. Any manager coming in would find enough category of players to fit their style. This has the potential to either go very very well, or these contracts are going to irreparably bankrupt the club.
This is more lazy punditry. The fact Carragher doesn't know Felix is the first choice left winger to support Mudryk, and Neto to support Palmer proves he has no clue what Chelsea are doing. He's only showing his own ignorance of Chelsea. I don't know why he is comparing midfielders to wingers like Enzo to Felix here. Chelsea DO NOT have 45 players on 7-9 years contracts all expecting to be part of the first team or 6 keepers getting changed beside each other. They have Jorgensen, Sanchez and Bettinelli in the first squad, with the rest in their appropriate squads. It's a lie to keep peddling this BS 2 years later, and these pundits/ journalists are paid enough money to report the current reality of Chelsea instead of a narrative from 2 years ago. Chelsea and Maresca have said they have a first team squad of 25 players and it's only Palmer who has a 9 year deal. Chelsea are copying Real Madrid and Barca who have 80-90 players at their clubs, by trying to create "A development squad" for players to loaned out or developed at their current clubs, similar to Madrid and Barca B and C teams.. Chelsea signed 10 players this season but at least 7 of them are not for the first team. Estavao, Anselmino, Kellyman, Wiley, Penders, Gabriel Mec when he signs & Guiu (depending on Osimhen), will all not play for the first team. There won't be first team players who can't fit in the changing room like under Potter. There will be at least another 8 players sold and probably the same again loaned out over the next few weeks on top of the sold players like Maatsen, Ziyech, Hutchinson, Humphreys, Santos, Moreira, Hall, Silva, Ugochukwu, and more like Sterling, Broja, Chilwell, Fofana, Lukaku, Kepa, Chuwmeka, Disasi, Petrovic, Gallagher, Chalobah and others i'm bound to have forgotten. These are players all currently in talks with other clubs for weeks, some for over a month. People still perpetuating the Boehly under Potter narrative regarding the big changing room and ignoring the transfers outs, and the different logic behind the project is irresponsible reporting. I hope pundits and journalists start reporting the actual Chelsea news more accurately instead of calling it "scattergun approach" and "owners don't know what they are doing", when the truth is the media don't know what Chelsea are doing and building an outdated false narrative from 2 years ago whilst't they aren't trying to find out what Chelsea are actually doing. Chelsea have more like Football Manager approach and buying 3-4 squads for first team, reserve team, youth developmental teams hence the long contracts so players have the flexibility to move between squads, but wealthy continental clubs have been doing this amount of crazy business for decades. It's simply new to the premier league. I'm not saying it's a good way to run club or fair on homegrown players, but it's not what the media have been saying every transfer window the last few years. This window Chelsea have bought really well strengthening their different squads and Chelsea are one of the few clubs that don't need to sell before they buy. By the end of the window there will be over 20-25 players that leave in total this summer and only Osimhen to arrive before the window (Maybe a defender if Disasi leaves) but signing 6 first team players is NOT excessive when they are big upgrades on what Chelsea previously had. Plenty of clubs sign more than 6 first players.
Deluded smurf. The reason carragher doesn't care about Chelsea is because they are finished and far behind his team Liverpool. These foolish Clowns at Chelsea will be sanctioned soon.
This is a 10 year financial and football project. They are committed to “being custodians” for ten years, as part of the deal. So they need to have a winning team in years 7-10, not 1-3. So putting Cole on a 9 year deal so he is at the club during that period (2029-2032) is excellent business, on a wage 1/3rd of Sterling. I know Gary and Jamie may not understand this, because they are footballers who are trained to focus on “the next match”

This! Chelsea are a front for money laundering.
Money laundering all the way. Shameful.

Sterling is the beginning of how the future will be for chelsea when selling players. Long contracts big wages.. players wont want to leave unless they are paid off the wage difference. In few yrs.. Mudryk, Jackson etc
Difference being Sterling has a huge contract that he will be happy sitting on, other players are still on middling wages so if their option is to sit and earn an ok amount or get a move and earn more plus playing time to get an even bigger potential move then most of those guys will push for a move. The selling price will be the sticking point more than the players.

Exactly, what’s the point in judging it 2 weeks before the window is even shut
I agree that we need to stop buying players....but we need to stop buying the wrong players, arguably to make a sustainable team that can challenge back at the top you'd still need to sell half the squad and re-buy better or more fitting players there.

Why?
pudits should count u15-u21 too since that is the narrative
Exactly, what other club do they count every single player as part of the first team squad, even if they’re youth players or even on loan. It’s also not the end of the transfer window yet, 8-10 of those players are going to be gone within the next 10 days. Doesn’t fit the narrative though
All of the players Jamie mentioned were on the field at the same time by the way. Chelsea is anticipating a transfer ban for infringements during the Abramovich era, it was in the news sometime last season. Not sure if hoarding talent is the best strategy but they seem to think so.

Chelsea’s results will slip as a result, leading to fans calling for him to go and venting at the ownership. Ownership will sack the manager in response, replace him with someone new, bring in a whole load of new players, and thus the cycle repeats. Chelsea are done as a title winning side for a decade at least.
When Chelsea owners are hungry, instead of buying food, they buy players. 😂
Wtf😂
Money is speaking, Chelsea now is on a long term signing of players
😂😂😂😂 as if you’re defending them. Absolute shambles of a club
Roulette is my go-to especially after a colleague suggested trying it on Fridays got lucky last session 🍀
Abramovich was the last owner willing to take it to City, sad what the Prem has turned into
Take to City Financially ?
I should check that out. Been eyeing the roulette games. There's something about that spinning wheel 🌀
Am I the only one that can't stand the main host? Dave is it? Time to move on
The fact is I’m not against signing young players if they are good. But basically forcing out your academy graduates is kinda giving the message to the current academy players. We don’t give a toss about you. I can’t name a single player that’s come out of the academy since they took over that’s still in this team. Chelsea uses to be known for their academy but these owners are literally neglecting an important part of the club over the years under Roman
Y do u guys care where we are spending or not, we are selling players at good rate too..
@@Mandeep-l5m selling your academy players and signing average players is not good business, chelsea squad cost over a billion quid just to finish mid table, that is not good business.
Because you also suck! A team buying all these players and still sucking is a good headline. It’s brings in views
All the players you are signing are crap. I would not take a single one of them except Pedro Neto
Who cares. Are you the owner. go and sleep @@flacohernandez4380
It’s ridiculous watching it unfold as a Chelsea fan! The only reason they are doing long contracts is to keep the payments down. But the bigger picture is these players they’ve brought in yes have potential but could and most likely will flop in the next 2 seasons
There more exciting than boring Liverpool mate it just bitter from carra no one wants to go to Liverpool but they want to come to Chelsea. What does that tell you?
It's show that Chelsea/London still big club, popular & favourite place to go. Even club not going well but it's will take time for Chelsea to going back to their normal strength.
Money grabbing football losers sign for London clubs. 12 titles amongst all London clubs in 60+ years.
They ain’t worried about winning trophies that’s what it means, it’s all about ££££
They just don’t want to live in Liverpool. Can’t really blame them
As a Chelsea fan they aren’t wrong the clubs become embarrassing just signing any average out cast player
The Cole palmer things isn’t stupid. His wages aren’t even high . Got him locked up won’t ever get to leave on a free what’s the problem with that?
makes it sound like hes a slave is that what your club has become treat kids as slave, modern day slavery in football is now CFC???
Such a foolish decision From Palmer
Palmer's had 1 good season. Imagine he ends up like Dele Alli falling off the track, you'll be paying his wages for the next 9 years. Rarely you will have players consistently performing at the highest level for a decade.
By the way, didnt Chelsea already had an awful experience with Winston Bogarde ? 🤣 Its like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode with the others......
@@88casey hardly the same, Cole on a 120k a week isn’t even that bad even if you got stuck with him for 9 years I can’t ever see him not being worth that. All I see that is us protecting an asset tbh I was abit worried about him being a massive United fan and a manc so at least we know they will have to pay if they want him. Now the others like Enzo and mudryk are a different story 😭😂.
Palmer will hand a transfer request in a season or too and go to united watch😂 deep down you know that too
Oh nice I was actually looking at their welcome bonus. It's pretty generous. Got some extra cash to play with 💸
They’re literally selling so much of their horrible players like Sterling & chilwell but apparently chelsea isn’t allowed to have any depth. We have less players than city btw.
City has the smallest squad in the league and Chelsea the biggest.
They also need to sell your favorite player, absolute waste of money 😂
Love how 4ra keeps adding new features, always something exciting to check out 🔍
They say they need to stop buying players but then say the players aren’t good enough. How is that rectified?
Just buy better players from te start?
Stop signing average players and sign top players? Pretty simple, Chelsea’s signings are nothing short of embarrassing, they’re a mid table squad that cost over a billion quid.
@@adzie2000yeah but once the players they bought originally didn’t work for whatever reason you have to sell them and bring new ones in? It’s really basic.
@@adzie2000the starting 11 yday was very good aside from enzo who I don’t think is a player for the premier league, he should be in serie A where he has more time on the ball. Play either Nkunku or Felix as a 10 and Neto left wing. 1 signing needs to be made and that’s osihmen. After that concentrate on slimming the squad down and cutting the average players as you call them.
@@Luke-ih2wt stop signing players just for the sake of it? How can a club sign so many players and them players not work out? There is no plan at chelsea, some of those players are only at the club 2 years and have played under 5 managers, tell me the plan? There isn’t one, they sign players for no reason.
How this is beginning to age like milk 🍼 a month later 😅...
Only comment that made sense
Spot on
Finally someone who knows what's going on.
Deluded smurf. The reason carragher doesn't care about Chelsea is because they are finished and far behind his team Liverpool. These foolish Clowns at Chelsea will be sanctioned soon.
Great..... The rest are dumies
These guys wouldn’t be complaining if it was their clubs.
@@DIsjaielState of the club??
Why is everyone acting like there's a crisis at Chelsea when they just played very well against the best team in the league? In their first competitive game with a new manager? I don't understand 😅
Some signings have been better this season not spending over 100 Mill on a player. But I do agree the recruitment is bad as we need to trim our squad and sign a pure finisher
"smart clubs like Barcelona..." 😂😂😂😂😂 A club that had the best team, the best players and the best manager in the world but by off the field decision ran themselves into debt. Losing Neymar and then spending nearly £400million on Dembele, Griezmann and Coutinho. Meaning they couldn't afford to pay Messi's wages and losing him for nothing. Going to into debt to sign players like Raphinha, Ferran Torres and an aging Lewandowski. Surely the worst run club in world football
