Teya, another great video ideal for the first time traveler to Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang, people might know their home airport but to have some knowledge of where you are going must help
Thank you for the useful information. I just think 2h before the flight sometimes wouldnt be enough to get to the airport during rush hour and depending where you are.
Last year Teya, I booked a flight to Bangkok VietJet air from Khon Kaen we were 1.1/2 early, I went straight to check in where a family was being dealt with, after they finished I was directed to the ticket booth which was packed and as a result missed my flight and cost me an extra flight with Thai Smile and an overstay charge on my visa, I will never fly with Vietjet again !!!!!!
Another great video Teya. Both airports are very efficient but I prefer Don Mueng but it is on the other side of town and traffic is awful. My problem is that most airlines do not have electronic check in. So you need to stand in line for an hour just to say "I'm here". Suvarnabhumi needs to upgrade to E check in.
I came across your TH-cam Channel last week. Love it 😊 Can you please advise what will be the best way to get to Don Muang Airport from Phaya Thai Station?
I will land in Suvarnabhumi (international) at 17:00 and I want to get a domestic flight to CM. How long would it take for me to get out of the custom so I could take my next domestic flight?
Was there ever planned a direct connection between the 2 airports? Since Don Mueang has got its own BTS station it has become a lot better, but it still sucks to change trains 2 times (red line, blue line, airport link). Especially because there is a quite long walk included (Makkasan - Petchaburi stations), with all the heavy baggage..
Hi Teya. Very helpful video! Thank you! How much time do you think is needed to arrive on an international flight and get to a domestic flight? It will be a separate booking which I have not booked yet. My arrival is at noon on Emirates and I will need to buy a ticket to Chiang Mai that afternoon. Thank you for your advice. You are so helpful!
You shouldn't buy the flight which it's less than 2 hours of the connecting to domestic because you may take about 45 mins with the International arrival process and you need at least 1 hours for checking in with the Domestic flight. This is excluded time of walking to look for the check in counter too. And if you must go to another airport, let's make it at least 3.5 hours for next flight.
@@ItsThaithings Thank you so much! I was looking at a flight a little more than 3 hours later so that seems like a safe connection. I hope so! My husband uses a wheelchair service so sometimes that saves time, but maybe sometimes takes more time. I don't know. But we both have global entry. So I hope that can save time too.
If someone arrives on Don Muang Airport through international flight and want to take connecting flight from suvarnabhoomi Airport. For that another video need, I think .
@@ItsThaithings floor number , gate number etc. For arrival and departure different na, so solo first time travelers may be need help. I hope you got me well.
I want to ask, what if i miss my domestic flight as i will be coming on same date . I have around 3 hours to pass the immigration to domestic. What r best options. Do vietjetair will accomodate me?
Depends on the time of day and number of arrivals during that specific period, plus which gate you arrive at. Suvarnabhumi is a large airport so the walk can be lengthy, but all serviced by travellators. I arrived few weeks ago and immigration was well staffed with minimal queues, same with baggage collection.
At least 10 mins walk. If you have someone to pick you up, it should be about 30 mins to 45 mins before you see the driver at the waiting areas. If you have no lugguage it should be about 15-20 mins.
@@ItsThaithings very helpful information. Thanks a lot. We have domestic flights tomorrow and we have 2 hours time between two flights. We have no baggage only hand carry.

Good point!
A in-depth video on the new airport rail link would be an interesting one. Going from the airport to Sukhumvit or wherever .
I'm editing it. It'll take a few day before I post. Thank you.
I will be doing that end of September.. red rail link route , then change to green line .. 😁

Did you mean self-check in machine? If you meant that we have it. You can watch from 02.52 mins on my video.

I don't think people will prefer to get on the train when they can get FREE shuttle bus between these airport
Useful information about the free shuttle buses transfer on same day flights, thank you!

You may ask the airline and inform them. In my opinion, they may not accommodate as it's just domestic flight.
Hi im coming from qatar to survarnabhumi airport by 7pm and my next flight is 9pm same day to phuket is 2hrs enough to transfer?
Which airport you have to transfer? If donmuang, you won't make it. If the same airport you must run. Good luck 🤞
How long does it take from in-flight to immigration counter in BKK on foot??
