Jerry is one of the elite pickers along with Roy Clark, Jim Stafford and others that are better than most all guitarists out there. Don’t believe me? Ask John 5. He got his passion and love for playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, etc from watching these guys perform on Hee Haw as a kid. These guys played music that is used in World Champion music competitions. Jim Stafford would play a piece from some of the most difficult guitar music out there in his comedy skit and flub it up for a punchline. 😂
