the sketch has to be highlighted while saving, this was the mistake i was doing and this video helped me in this.

Hey!
Great video! I have just one thing to add to your tutorial. You can automate the process of creation of weldment profiles by creating a table within the Solid Librarie Feature Part with all the different sizes. It works really well. You only have to save one file and all dimensions you had put in the table is going to appear in the weldment features.
