      It didn't leave mate, the British people sacked them and have never even looked like asking them back. No I wonder why that is? You all know the answers, so no recalling it back here... It still is embarrassing to the labour voters who want it to fade into history because of the Blair- brown years. And to be fair huge amounts of labour voters helped in the country's decision to get rid of the far left riddled within labour's ranks . I could go on about it it, but they were a horrible bunch, spent all the country's money and ran... Cowards and so many still hang about!

    • @Willywin
      @Willywin 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I would love to know what ideas and policies and solutions the Labour Party are offering. Its a sad state of affairs when most opposition to the Government in Parliament comes from the Governments own back benches. All I hear from Labour is them either agreeing with the conservatives or complaining about the Conservatives without saying 'what they would do' and so failing to give the electorate a chance to compare. But then offering no answers for three and a half years and eventually making empty promises for the last six months of the electoral cycle worked for Biden, perhaps that is the Labour Party plan - say nothing and then you cant be pulled apart? Thing is once in power they would be held accountable for what would inevitably go wrong - and no amount of trying to blame their predecessors would carry much weight.

      I mean..... no offence, but you've been OK with the devistation brought on the population by the tories over the last decade, but Boris breaking some covid rules has changed your mind?
      We have millions of people using food banks... Stories like the children in Glasgow stealing ketchup packets from school canteens, and eating ketchup for dinner when they get home... I mean in the last 3months alone, the government voted to block a bill that would make fire and rehire illegal, then after the P&O fires and rehire 800 employees, , actually announced publically they were "trying to work out what could be done"..... After blocking the bill that was designed to prevent it.... And people will actually fall for it, and believe the tories are trying to help poor people.... Raising fuel prices by 54% while protecting shareholders profits, compared to the continent who raised fuel prices by 1-4% and shareholders took the hit...... But Boris having a party when we we're told not to is "shameful"?

      - How many businesses were created/went bust during the same period?
      - What happened to the rate of unemployment during this period?
      - How many new jobs were created by these unicorns? What is this as an overall percentage of job growth in the same period?
      - What proportion of revenue did these companies pay in tax and how much tax revenue did they generate for the UK?
      - What is the Gini coefficient for these Unicorns? Do they truly represent positive outcomes for the British public or are they another example of wealth redistribution to the rich at the expense of the poor?

    Just for the record the new nuclear plant under construction was put in place by the last Labour government along with 2 more that the Tories have effectively cancelled. The Tories also cancelled the financial support for renewables, these policies have left us over dependent on fossil fuels and at the mercy of fossil fuel companies. Under the cuts we have seen the loss of thermal insulation projects to reduce consumption, the loss of roll outs of personal solar energy panels on houses to reduce their reliance on energy companies and the loss of expansion of commercial renewable generation projects such as wind, solar and hydro production. By scrapping these and forcing all private and commercial energy consumers to be tied to fossil fuel production on behalf of Tory donors it is THIS GOVERNMENT that is DIRECTLY responsible for the misery faced by households and the upcoming devastation to all industries in the UK and all public organisations too, councils will be forced to cut services yet again to pay for Tory corruption and further again through the loss of business rates and council tax receipts due to a loss of employment going forward.

      The one on the south coast is still going ahead because it was paid for by the Blair government and the French state energy company(yes UK electricity is nationalised just not by the British nation) but the Tories cancelled the other 2 even though the first one was being supplied free by China who wanted to build it as a marketing programme to demonstrate that they were capable of building a nuclear plant to the highest gold safety standards in the World. The Tories cancelled it officially as part of Trumpenstein's orange monster's attacks on China but in reality they cancelled it because they take millions in -back handers- donations from the fossil fuel industry.

      the atomic energy project is spearheaded under Rolls Royce if I remember correctly and outlined around 2015 .. the project white paper that was publicly available entailed 15 'compact' type power plants dotted around the country .. part of the argument was for UK to become an energy exporter into Europe .. the information is probably still available

    This is no longer a matter of Johnson being a national embarrassment. That epithet is, by now, long out-dated. There appears to be something sinister in his current behaviour whereby he comes across more and more as someone so desperate to cling to power that he is prepared to break that golden rule not to mislead the house. He doesn't mislead. That term - mislead - is equally outmoded. He is nothing other than a bare-faced liar who is suffering (apparently) from what can only be described as a morbid fear of umbrellas and doorbells. Could this stem from the time when he started taking money from Russians? As Billy Shakespeare so poetically stated: "long indeed runs the fox until he meets the ballot box". Tick . . . tock . . . tick . . . tock . . .
