Thank you for the tips. I bought the same juicer about 6 months ago too. I loved it. Can't wait for your juice video. I enjoy your Channel. Stay safe. 😊

Aw, thanks for watching, dear!!! I love it too :) Quirks & all! What do you like to juice?

@@taylornorrisreiki So far it's only been celery juice. I was trying to think of a way to juice a lot of leafy greens without messing up the machine. That's one of the reasons I'll be waiting patiently for your juice video. Until then take care and be safe. Thank you for sharing. 💌

@@jag2333 Yeah it gets backed up...You could probably run water through it periodically.

I love my Green Star Elite 5000. I also have Slowstar vertical. I mostly juice Celery and leafy greens with Ginger/Turmeric and squeeze lemon/lime juice. Does your juicer get hot when making large batch? My slowstar gets hot, but Twin gear Greenstar is a workhorse.

Sounds like we juice the same things mostly :) It does not get hot, just backed up if I try to go too fast when I make large batches.

How many apples does it take to fill the container with juice

That would be a great test. I cannot tell you for sure, as it would depend on the size and variety of the apple. I know when I have done apple juice cleanses, it varied dramatically based on the size and freshness of the apples. Fresher apples will contain a higher water content and yield more juice. Some apple varieties are denser than others and may yield less juice. When I have done cleanses in the past, I have made about 40 oz. of apple juice at a time, and easily went through a good 5 or more pounds of apples to do so. I hope that helps!

Thank you for this video, I have a question for you. Can you suggest any slow masticating juicer, that would work well with juicing fruits? I have multiple health complications, and I have to choose the fruits. I would be interested in your response thank you

I now use the Omega NC-800HDS. It is my favorite all around juicer!

I was thinking if buying this juicer because if the large 3 inch chute I was going to get the breville big squeeze which also has a 3 inch chute but then I was made aware of the 15 ur warranty on all parts with the omega but you mention you have to cut everything small i was hoping i could push thru whole apples and a few stalks if celery at a time. I'm busy in school and i just wanted to speed everything up but still want a slow juicer

Hi Crystal! Thanks for watching :) I really like the Omega NC800 even more. It works really well for whole stalks of celery.
