I recently purchased my Omega VSJ843 from "DiscountJuicers" after watching several of John's videos. I couldn't be happier!!! After tasting juice from the Omega VSJ843 I decided to give my Juice Fountain Elite away, there is no comparison. The Omega produces a juice that doesn't separate or get foamy in comparison to the Juice Fountain. Additionally, the VSJ843 juice maintains a freshness with low oxidation for those of us who need to store our juice for lunches or later use. If you like nut-milks you will look forward to an easy clean up without a nut bag. Just wanted to share my happiness with the Omega VSJ843...pure heaven!! Thanks John for all the great information you share!!!
Hi John, I find that if I slice the carrots once longitudinally and feed the smaller, pointy end in first it is so much easier than any other way. That way, one can just let them drop in and the VSJ munches away quite happily. Thank you for your videos. I watched a handful of them to help me choose the VSJ and I love my juicer! :)
John: I LOVE all your juicer vids. Your advice and suggestions helped me pick my very first juicer and I've fallen in love with it and am now helping my mom and my mother in law pick out juicers for themselves too. Keep doing what you do! :)
I bought a VSJ843 from Discount. The Fed Ex delivery was terrible. It made the buying experience lousy. I do love the VSJ. It works great with softer items. I have an NC800 for greens. And a Vitamix. Thanks John!
Hello John....I'm in the process of buying a second juicer and considering the Omega VSJ843. Really liked your demonstration here and the ingredients you've used. Do you have a juice recipe book or an online source for some of your combinations?
John, incredible video. I have the feeling I'm learning something with every video you publish. Great work although I don't own this Omega. Love how you used the beer glas, that's how I drink my smoothies and juices as well :D
Hi john if the strainer basket holes are plugged what is the best way to clean this after 2 years use, tried vinegar and water but did not clear the holes, please advies ? Thanks
Hi John can do do a juicing comparison between the Omega VSJ and Omega NC800, juicing carrots greens and apples, at least, feel free to put some other things in there too. I am torn between the 2 and I grow a lot of my own produce as well and big on greens! Thanks -G
I am debating on this Juicer...originally I was looking at the OMG500...but I am really leaning toward this....I am wow'd about what you taught about tomato juice from the store...I don't ever want to drink store bought tomato juice again.
Hi John. I am wondering if you are planning to review the KitchenAid Slow juicer attachment. It will be interesting to see how the attachment performs vs the best vertical slow juicers. Thanks
I have no immediate plans to review that attachment. I have seen it, and feel it will NOT perform as well as a dedicated juicer. If you want the best, go with a DEDICATED juicer. I would not recommend the kitchenaid attachment.
Hi John, thanks a lot for your prompt response. I truly appreciate the time you invest to advise costumers. I just watched your last video about the best vertical slow juicers and I think I have a winner. Thanks again for your advise.

How many inches in diameter is the strainer you have? Love that tip
what kind of water should you use to clean it?
from New York haha
No need to use the strainer.
