Layne literally dragged basically whole trees into the studio for the set.

I like this so much I added it to my playlist right away after I first watched it.
    This is an awesome video.
Layne did the arrangements, editing, production, costume designs. Tony Wakim (Layne's partner at Pattycake Productions) made the costumes. He left Voiceplay in 2016 to run Pattycake Productions and be behind the videos where his passion always was.
    Love your reaction Salvo😺

Only voice play can get away with classical music with a fart, sniff, burp section.

There are a few pieces from Peer Gynt that are widely recognizable, the most so probably being “Morning Mood.” I’m sure you’ve heard it before. “Solveig’s Song” is one of my favorite pieces to sing ever… THIS ARRANGEMENT THOUGH!! Is EVERYTHING!! 🤩

I would love to sing this with some musician friends of mine! It would be so fun to do! It's truly my favorite VP piece so far.

Written by Greig (Norwegian classical composer/Scottish father hence the surname). The best 'cover' of this is by E.L.O. (Jeff Lynne) on their 1973 album, 'On the Third Day.' Absolutely wild to imagine ELO playing only covers, but back then, and at this point, they're not even thinking of commercial appeal and just trying to do something new (which is of course something no-one has the freedom to do now). Jeff Lynne and co. before they realised they could do both.

I loved it, seriously, what is there not to love? It was so fun. This was Layne's arrangement, he had a lot of fun with this one. Even chopped down a tree or two for the set. lol

So much fun watching your reaction. I laughed all the way through, just as you did!!
Geoff dropped Ghost Riders in the Sky this morning, I look forward to your reaction to that one.

This is sooooo much fun! It shows how much talent they have to be able to do vocals on an instumental piece that was used in movies like Beetlejuice. Elizabeth adds the perfect effect as her soprano is out of this world. Always love your reactions

Ill check out your soundscapes. I listen to that kind of music every night when i sleep. I believe it makes my dreams more intense.

This one is pure fun! There is so much going on vocally and visually - I've watched it several times and still find something new each time. Elizabeth's voice is a beautiful addition 😊

you can find out which members of Voiceplay did what in this as well as participating Eli usually does the lighting and Geoff and Layne do the arrangements. this was filmed at Pattycake joint owned by Layne and Tony a former VP member and Layne spent some time dragging real trees into the studio for this one! ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Loved your reaction to this one! Yes you have heard this probably many times in movies, cartoons, and tv shows. Layne (in the orange makeup) did the arrangement. Normally the one who does the arrangement has the vision for the video. I do believe that Geoff did help a little with the arrangement. Eli (in the green makeup) did the lighting design and assisted with the directing. They have a makeup artist that comes in and does all of their videos. You need to also check out Geoff’s new release of Ghostriders in the Sky! It’s amazing and epic.

Yeah, it's been weeks and I'm *still* trying to decide if this is now my favourite. (The other contender is of course my previous favourite, Hoist the Colours.)

I have always loved Hall, and their production of it was, not perfect, but instead was transcendent. And, like you, Hoist was my previous favorite of Voice play.

Your soundscapes sound interesting. Sounds like the sort of thing I'd do if I had the skills. :) Wonderful how they could sing an orchestral piece with no words and still make it interesting. This was one of Layne's arrangements and he certainly had fun with this one.

The Who recorded a rockin' version of this during The Who Sell Out sessions. Great classical piece well-suited to rock; one of classical's "greatest hits", lol. Fun arrangement!

Your reaction is much the same as mine was 😆 I really do like ambient channels- I’ll check it out. I’m trying to find a fall theme with sound effects And some occasional cello music in the background…. in case that’s helpful 😉

Mozart lachrymosa would be a good classical piece. Or the Firebird. I always think someone should stand up at a classical concert and yell “play Firebird”. (Instead of Freebird . . . Per venue)
