I really hope this is enough to revive Pacific Rim, I definitely enjoyed the first season, and I can't wait for the second, despite it being the finale. Hopefully Pacific Rim isn't cast back into obscurity.

The first season of Pacific Rim: The Black was really good and interesting! I really took a liking to the main character Taylor and his interactions with the girls, and his cute little blonde sister Hayley! And the Jaeger and Kaiju fights were pretty good too. I will surely watch this next season!
Pacific Rim the black totally REDEEM the franchise after the second movie. One only complaint, and that's me being pedantic is that I hope kaiju boy transformation is more hulk like than ultraman like.

Just watched all seven episodes of Season 2 today with my little brother. What a ride! However, it still saddens me that Brina Travis and Apex had to die in the show... Wish things weren't so rushed. 7/10

The funniest thing is why the aliens even bothered sending Kaiju to Australia knowing that it's sparesly populated and mostly just empty outback compared to some high population areas in the Pacific like east Asia or the U.S?( Well, it was some good attention for Australia in Kaiju media that it well deserved). Other than that, the Black was just AMAZING in my opinion!

I am very grateful to Netflix for giving Pacific Rim another chance with this anime, since in my opinion it is a saga with much more potential, hopefully Guillermo Del Toro and Legendary Pictures surprise us with a Pacific Rim 3.

This was a ride to watch. S2 blows it out of the park and shows with good writing/the right tone, a pacific rim anime can work even with teenager characters. SPOILERS AHEAD YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️. Apex and brina die. Their deaths shocked me and made me cry inside. Loa along with atlas destroyer dying wasn't surprising but still made me upset and shane biting the dust was unexpectedly sad as well. I wish the show did a bit more with rickter and trespasser which are 2 aspects I'm disappointed in but it did good in other areas. The show has a definitive happy ending and b0y is not seen as a threat by the PPDC.
Loa Alone had better character development than the entire Uprising Cast. I really felt every Death in this season . But Brina got me to the feels😢😢😢😢😢😢

I finished the 2nd season just within hours cuz I continued watching it. That's just how good the plot is. The animation is SOLID but the plot WON ME OVER. The best plot ever, the best characters ever. I don't wanna spoil you but my end verdict is the season is so tragically satisfying to watch😢😔☺

Season 2 (i guess its also the last season) is surprisingly good

This was a ride to watch. S2 blows it out of the park and shows with good writing/the right tone, a pacific rim anime can work even with teenager characters. SPOILERS AHEAD YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️.
Apex and brina die. Their deaths shocked me and made me cry inside. Loa along with atlas destroyer dying wasn't surprising but still made me upset and shane biting the dust was unexpectedly sad as well. I wish the show did a bit more with rickter and trespasser which are 2 aspects I'm disappointed in but it did good in other areas. The show has a definitive happy ending and b0y is not seen as a threat by the PPDC.
Loa Alone had better character development than the entire Uprising Cast.
I really felt every Death in this season .

I was absolutely blown away by the first season as your average pacific rim fan(blown away by the 1st, disgusted by uprising). I binged the whole show in one night, and ever since it showed up on netflix "it's official, another season is coming" I was very impatiently wanting for it. Can't wait

I finished the 2nd season just within hours cuz I continued watching it. That's just how good the plot is. The animation is SOLID but the plot WON ME OVER. The best plot ever, the best characters ever. I don't wanna spoil you but my end verdict is the season is so tragically satisfying to watch😢😔☺
