@@Bezaliel13 they weren't the first to use Truck-kun but the webnovel made it popular. Most of the modern isekai trope are poor copies of MT, except for the bland 'everyman' protag. I heard that more from SAO
@@Airier actually the pretty much the definition of monster in the series: magically warped animals. Those that develop Intelligence get reclassified as fiends. Fiends that get past the aggression can get reclassified as Demons (which could have be alternative translated as "magical folk")

While the webnovel is the first draft of source that most modern isekai copied badly (and why it called the grandfather of modern isekai). It the Light novel the is the polished source that you want to read if you want the 'cut content'. Note the Don't read the manga doesn't apply to the "Roxie gets serious" prequel Manga is worth the read
