Had my 200S for almost 5 yrs and still love it! No problems wit it.
With the door bolt, use Locktite or a similar product on it. Remove the bolt, put some on the Threads and then reinstall the bolt and tighten. That should keep it from coming loose again.

I also have a 2015 200S with about 34,000 miles. I'm the original owner, and the only issues I had was way back 4 years ago a transmission issue where the car would just stall while going anywhere from 35 - 50mph. That was fixed with a computer update by the dealership. More recently the oil filter housing cracked. Got one for about $90 on Amazon and did it myself in my garage in about 4 hours. It was an experience, but I enjoy working on cars whenever I can.
Ive had my 200 limited for about 5 years works great just gotta keep up the usual maintenance on it or DIY safe alot more money

It’s the 2015 200s that has to many issues there were like 77,000 recalls in it
How many miles you got on it? My car has 160,000 and i just replaced the engine & heater pump for way more then i wished.

I bought a 200c in 2015 because it was the only car with every safety tech option, plus awd and a v6. I loved it and bought one for my granddaughter. I passed mine down to my grandson and both cars been oerfect

Replaced my water pump and oil cooler at 45k miles.
And the transmission is designed in a way that its oil can never be flushed. Get something else.
I got a 2016 chysler 200, I really haven't had any issues beside a oil gasket bust. I'm at 93,300 and my car still riding good af.

Pop up.” I believe that’s a small issue but we will see once I take it in. NO IM NOT SELLING OR TRADING MY CAR , I love it , it was and is my dream car since 2014 and was very grateful to be able to buy my dream car. The car has 140,000 miles on it. I love it and like I said AM NOT TRADING. Got the car with 49,800 miles on it. Love love love it. I hope you don’t trade it anytime soon, unless you’re not attached to it the way I am. I can live with this car till at least 2024

2015 200s... Had the same problem, the engine runs really hot, it was the upper radiator hose. I also replaced my coolant reservoir cap.if it wasn't for my " Mopar lifetime warranty" I got for this car, I would be screwed out of pocket big time.

so the coolant leak is same issue i had with mine....oil cooler which is located under your oil filter... gaskets wear and you will leak coolant until it totally lets go...coolant is used to cool the oil... {oil cooler} unfortunately you need to pull the intake manifold...don't forget to do the plugs at the same time...
do you know what is the wheel bolt pattern? 5x114.3? or 5x110? thanks
Had the same oil cooler leak, cost me over $1500 to replace / fix it. Seems like its a design flaw that this model will do this, and chrysler must have issued a recall for this.
I’ve had the 2015 Chrysler 200 C AWD 3.6 L for a few years now, close to 160k miles. I’ve had to change the radiator, radiator hoses, a new coolant reservoir, new coolant, new coolant transfer case thingy and new wheels. I love the power of the car and after a few painful thousands of dollars later, the car isn’t leaking coolant anymore or overheating as those 2 were my main issues.
I've got a 2015 Chrysler 200 limited which I bought new and has always been dealer serviced. It's the 2.4L Multiair with the ZF 9 speed automatic. With 80k miles now on the car, apart from regular service items (oil change/tire rotation and brake/engine service) the only repairs the car has needed were a thermostat, thermostat housing, and right rear sway bar link which were all under manufacturer warranty and replaced at no cost.
Only complaints about the car are the visibility is a bit poor due to sloped roof lines and thick pillars, and with the poor conditions of local roads I need to get an alignment done every time I switch seasonal tires which is not the fault of the car but if I don't it eats its tires off (found out the hard way)... and I'll never buy a car with low profile tires again because they are stupidly expensive to replace.
I'm going to need a truck soon and the thought of selling this car is not a happy one. If I sell it I'll miss it badly.

My old 2001 300M motor broke after 240K miles (that was my fault), the 200 got my attention as Ive seen ppl flying on these above 90 MPH.
Now I'm Having hard decicion to either rebuild the engine (and the rest of the car) or get a 200 S
I know the PentaStar V6 is rock solid however I'm wary of the 9 Speed. Did you ever had issues on the transmission Dog Clutches or RPM mismatch on the Odd Gears?
Noise while turning. Possibly the strut tower bearings are bad. Hopefully you replaced them with new ones when you swapped the coil springs.

I've got the 2015 Chrysler 200S AWD V6 Red Velvet Pearlcoat. As long as you maintain it, it's a great car. And FYI, it's technically an Alfa Romeo.

I have a 2015 200s too. My song skip buttons still work but sometimes when I am turning the wheel, especially if it's a big turn the "previous song" button gets triggered. My car also has a ticking sound that starts when the car starts but then slowly fades away as the engine warms up

I had that issue & it ended up being my belt.
after 6 years my coolant hose burst on the highway, I had to get it towed twice because the problem was fixed...my coolant did break 4 years after having the car. I had a miss fire 5 year after having my car on coil number 4. I hope nothing else pops up, it's costing me lol

Havnt really keep up on maintenance but anyways I wanna mod it and out things in it to make it go faster I obviosuly don’t know what I’m talking about but I want to add a lot to it. But it is a Chrysler and I’m afraid the engine or transmission will go out eventually . Should I keep this car or just get a new car in general. Only really is that I do want to keep it and mod it just becuase I like it but money wise and if it’s reliable to last long. Should I keep or get a new car.

Have same car as you. 103k on it now. Exact same issues as you. Door hinge, coolant leak, which I haven’t fixed. But only refill twice a year. Front suspension noise are your wheel bearings. Had to replace both sides. At no charge dealer fixed issue with all wheel drive. That being said I still love the car. It’s got power and a nice throaty sound. You still have yours??

I have the door problem too, I have to tighten that screw once in a while but lately I have to do it every week or so...and I had the misfire in cylinder 3 too a couple weeks ago, it was still covered under manufacturer warranty, so it was free.

I’m having the same coolant leak. It’s the upper radiator hose. It’s leaking where it clamps onto the metal pipe. The coolant leaks out and the fans blow it all over. Hose was $27 on rockauto.

I ordered motor mounts from them and I wasn’t allowed to return it for my money back once you put it in the vehicle. The motor mounts I ordered were worse than the original one

As much as i love the design of my Chrysler 200 2015. I may have to trade it in 😪. There's ALOT of issues Chrysler to to work on on these cars. I only owe $6000 to pay it off. Debating if I should keep it or just trade it in.. my net car will be a truck or suv. Thanks for the video.

I’m at 75k miles now and it still runs great!! I’m going to be doing a lot to my car this year for my channel... right now the only modd I’ve added so far is a stage 3 performance chip giving me 355hp n 30% more torque and you can really feel the difference. Next thing I’ll be adding is a cold air intake. I haven’t done the muffler delete yet! Lol can’t wait tho!

My husband & I took out a loan to buy this car. We weren’t in love with it but we had to get a vehicle that day because ours was dead.
Last week all of the SEATBELTS started to malfunction!!! The passenger seat AKA the “death seat’s” seatbelt WONT CLIP so it’s unusable. The driver seat belt locked up on me so tight I unbuckled it so I could re-buckle more comfortably and once it retracted and I tried to pull it to re-buckle it LOCKED and I couldn’t buckle up while driving on the HW in the torrential rain! Then the BACKSEAT buckle will clip but doesn’t tighten so the Lap and chest belt stays super loose which MY YOUNG SON pointed out to me!!! Wtf? I’ve never heard of this happening in a vehicle before
Besides the middle console’s sliding cup holder breaking so it doesn’t stay closed and slides around
there’s also a huge hazard caused by the design of the vehicle because of the blind spots! There’s more blind spots than there are unobstructed views!!! It also has to navigate 20+ gears just to reach 1st so when you pull out of a street it literally slows down and has almost caused me to get TBoned more times than I can count. This car SUCKS DONT BUY IT!!!

A very strong car it has its flaws but to me its worth fixing up and making it what i want wich is Ultimately a race coupe convertible next will be upgrading the chip the cooling system the turbo the the intake exhaust amd fuel system those should be bring it up around 200 more hp its pretty fast stock it will be a sleeper for sure after

Also there's no rocker arms on a DOHC motor. Cams are right on top of the valves FYI😉

Get that bad rocker replaced before it fucks your camshaft up. If your misfire is from the same bank you might need a minor rebuild on that bank and change all your rockers and tappets along with it

Good luck with getting the fully loaded one. I love the car too, I just wish there was more aftermarket support for them.
You know the 200c is the top trim that comes with self parking , wood , lane assist and FCW adaptive cruise control (none is even a option on the S) the only thing you can get on the S is blind spot sensors and cross path and that’s it. Buy a upgraded 200C if you want to see a real difference , the S isn’t a top trim. Oh and you can have cooled seats in the S Too.
Nathaniel Rudolph Honestly thinking about just repairing mines and keeping it.. Got her at 53k miles and now have 137k miles. The dealer kinda ripped me off .. a month after I’ve had the car engine light came on due to a bad catalytic converter.. haven’t gotten that changed yet still running fine .. also got to get a new hub bearing and struts, other than that the car is amazing ! I feel like if I got it brand new I wouldn’t have bumped into these problems.. Ever since I got it back in 2017 I been in love with it 😍 honestly don’t even want to let her go
Trezz Turbo me too. I have 136,000 miles got it with 49,000 and when I first seen it in 2014 it instantly was my DREAM car not a car I just wanted MY DREAM CAR at 14 years old in January 2014! I got it July 10th 2017. I have a 2015 chrysler 200C v6 and I FUCKING LOVE it. I never met Anyone who loves there’s as much as I do so it’s really nice to talk to you . The worst issue in having / had is “service transmission “. That shit is annoying. A few coolant leaks , engine oil leak and a few batteries , and alternator . That’s it. Just put new struts on it all the way around and sway bar links (Detroit roads ) but I’m never never never letting it go. I can see myself diving this car for another 4 years. Transmission is jerky as fuck and still don’t care. I love it so much I was about to get the Fully fully loaded 200C because I don’t want any other car, but I do want more tech. The 200 offers MORE thane enough features in its very top trim. If I get bored with my car again, I’ll be buying another 200C. I’m cool for right now though. Oh and a thermostat , and for some reason I need engine and trans mounts ...... that’s a head scratcher for me ... but ummmm I think that’s it. Oh!! One more thing. Something with engine hoses that had to be replaced too

All the issues are very simple to fix
Here’s my issues:
1. My car would open even with the emergency key, open the door by force
2. Car wouldn’t turn on
3. Car turned on, but A.C and Radio no longer worked
4. Car wouldn’t turn off at all
5. Car wont move, tried putting it in Drive and reverse but wont move
6. We changed the battery but nothing, still the same issues
7. Car wont turn off unless you physically disconnect it from the battery
8. Car wont turn on
9. Car is completely locked
I actually have a coolant leak on mine as well so far mine has been reliable it has 61k miles and has 0 issues other then the leak the only thing that’s weird is that when I change from park to drive and reverse and stuff it’s jumpy but it also takes two seconds to completely change as well and when I put it in reverse it vibrates which concerns me
I would definitely take it in and let them know about those issues. Could just be a update that will fix the problem

@@keilab.8424 it’s a v6 but sadly I don’t have the car anymore 😂 it was totaled an accident that wasn’t my fault in the slightest and insurance and Gap insurance paid it off I miss the car I really do and even if I was slipping it was under my warranty so it gets replaced for free
They had told me that it could just need to be updated so the transmission wouldn’t do that but I never got the chance to
I have a white 1 too. I hear a tick/clicking when turning, and a rattle when I hit the gas.. I just put on tints (gives the car a totally different look). I'm waiting on my black 20s to arrive 😷 I want to keep going, hopefully it hangs tuff for me💪🏽

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know that the ticking noise you hear from under the hood is most likely the valve lifters. I got the same issues but I still want to customize my car to be like yours. Will you post videos about the things you're selling or on other social media?

Coolant is coming from the heater core hose. Fiat Chrysler overly complicated the heater core hose clamp. Either that or the $1000 thermostat housing. The thermostat itself is only $40 but be prepared to spend $900 in labor.
I have 175,000 on my 200 and no problem so far still run great had for 5 years

Great video. Cute kid! Google Pentastar tick. I'm researching this vehicle to buy. Found info about the V6 engine having had a problem. Something to do with early model sand casted engines. The far left cylinder wears quickly and sand residue from manufacture process can damage coolant components. This is a Chrysler warrantied item, up to 110,000 miles. So take it to a dealership and get it checked out. Great looking car, even with all the stories of issues with these vehicles I am still very interested. Best wishes.

The motor was starting to use oil around 40,000 miles really shouldn't be. Doing that I know cars very well been around them all my life those small engines were. Not built for that . Chrysler had the right idea but they should have put a turbo four cylinder which would have been better

Your not seriously saying replace a v6 with a 4 cylinder are you ?? What if dodge removed your v8 for a turbo 6? Or supercharger on a 4cyl. No no no no no !!!! The 200 has the right engine option and so does the v8 fca cars. No turbos. If anyone wants turbos they can buy a Honda. My v6 is king

😂🤣 165,000 miles on my wifes corolla and all we have done is change out a water pump. chrysler sells their vehicles using propaganda, toyota sells theirs using reputation and reliability
Comparing a corolla to a chrysler when it comes to reliability isnt even a discussion lol But i agree car is nice just needs work, but i know of plenty 200s that are running great with 100k+ miles

I love this cars design in general but mine has giving me issues every 3-4 months. Horrible reliability and a huge dent in my finances to keep it running safe. Ive had it for 6 yrs almost 7now. Not pleased at all. Im gonna swap it out for something else or drive it of a damn cliff. Just dont buy chrysler. Thats why they arent making them anymore. Even the 300
