I also agree. Anyone playing Yuriko should lose a point when they play. The next game of basketball, dominoes, any VP based board game. Just lose all the points. Commander ninjitsu. The least thought out thing ever.
I love that you all did a budget deck brew off because folks need to know that you dont need all the 20 dollar a pop staples to make decks and have fun with them and even compete with decks that cost a lot more. GREAT JOB GUYS
price constraints are my favorite! I made and donated commander decks of all 10 2-color guilds for my local boys & girls club with a price limit of $0.40 per card (to help prevent theft). They play VERY well against each other and they're only $11-$18 decks! You can find a lot of power in affordable cards.
Fun game! Speaking of Wes Wise, it would be great to have him on as a special guest sometime! Same goes for Justin Parnell, of course. I don't know if that's feasible at all, but I'd really enjoy a special reunion feature of some kind. For old time's sake :)
Doesn't really work since commander damage is tracked per commander not from all commanders. Plus it would make the episode far too short and not feel good for anyone.
At the very end of the game (39 min) John appears to be at 12. Jeremy deals 4 damage but John only takes 2. Thus he “survives” Jermey’s attack which deals 9. Luckily Jeremy was able to cast one more spell to deal damage but he shouldn’t have needed to. Hopefully just a life tally mistake or mistake by John.
Love the content guys! Hope to see you guys soon. Also quick question. Would you all ever consider having an episode where you fly a fan out and play against them? I would love to play commander with you all.
People are mad that players brought powerful budget decks to the game? I thought more people would like seeing how powerful you can make a deck on a budget. I think you guys are just mad it was Jon.
DECKLISTS! articles.starcitygames.com/magic-the-gathering/commander-vs-398-no-cards-over-5/
As Commander Ninjutsu isn’t a cast ability, wouldn’t John technically lose a point for not casting his commander during the game?
Honestly… I would say yes! He never CAST the commander 😂 if he wants to avoid tax for the whole game he can lose a point for not casting.
@@jacksonleinweber3194 I agree as it is RAW. However, maybe they can change the intent to 'Play' the commander?
@@LordWerwath steven lost a point for not casting hakon back in the day, so john should as well

Agreed
That Kykar deck was awesome. I love these episodes because you do get to see some really unique cards
Thank u for putting the commanders in the title
I love this episode. I want you guys to do this type of episode more often.
Nice win Jeremy and fun game guys Yuriko was one of my first commanders.
Nice little symmetry in John attacking Stephen's Saheeli multiple times, to then dying to Jeremy's
I love that you all did a budget deck brew off because folks need to know that you dont need all the 20 dollar a pop staples to make decks and have fun with them and even compete with decks that cost a lot more.
GREAT JOB GUYS
You know Isshin, Two Heavens as One would be a cool $5 deck to build
This is honestly a really good showcase of a couple of powerful budget decks. Good job
This is the exact way I build all my decks

Not possible for Wes. He hasn't worked at SCG for a decade.
Justin might still be around. I don't remember.
Jon accidentally skipping Corey and Jeremy cackling was so marvelous.
cool budget builds, definitely some decent power in those decks.
wow how time flys. when i started watching you guys, everybody had hair, including me. now look at us :( (Cory still has his, but not as much now)
I know. When he brought up Wes Wise, I got hit with some memories.
Doesn’t Corey technically die before Steven because he dies on a different trigger
Permanents that are phased out, phase back in at the beginning of the untap step. They untap normally
cool music suspenseful at just the right time. class
That F bomb from John was priceless.
Good stuff. Thanks guys!
Really enjoyed this episode
Very cool episode and this must be getting hard with so many people playing now the prices of everything is getting real expensive
Could we get a cPDH episode this or next season? Most of those cards are under $5 too
The title of this episode should be saheeli’s revenge. Jon was right to fear saheeli, but it was the wrong one😆
Saw this game was short. Then John had Yuriko... makes sense now.
Cool, quick and easy game! Nice
The music at 22. Made me think I was about to watch someone's funeral. ☠️
you should do a game where the number of points you have for the season is how much commander damage you start off with
Doesn't really work since commander damage is tracked per commander not from all commanders. Plus it would make the episode far too short and not feel good for anyone.
Is it just me or is the lighting off this episode? Especially when the camera is on John and Corey?
I love the new thumbnails
Always rooting for Ninja's when they show up, let's go Yuriko!!!
Inalla exiles not sacrifices. Cool game guys!
yeah john should still have his creature
This is the summer of Jeremy.
Love me a budget build vid

John is so corny always bringing some super strong deck to the game.
Just started and I hope Corey wins with that RTJ shirt.
Jon should definitely lose a point for not casting his commander! Well done to the winner for the surprise ending though.
Love the content guys! Hope to see you guys soon. Also quick question. Would you all ever consider having an episode where you fly a fan out and play against them? I would love to play commander with you all.
Corey should spent $5 on custom proxies emrakul so it would be $5 😆
I find that in commander that threats are cheap and answers are expensive.
cool idear!
tatyova is budget friendly ahaha
Someone stole Jeremy's razors 🧔♂️
its a jeremy kind of season
Steven should be penalized for adding the 1 life and causing confusion by losing half a point
People are mad that players brought powerful budget decks to the game? I thought more people would like seeing how powerful you can make a deck on a budget.
I think you guys are just mad it was Jon.
Top 2 decks for hyper budget. Abdel/ candle infinite flicker. Annnd.. tevesh gilanda rock sac
It’s way too jarring seeing jeremy on that side of the table!
brilliant game
Like, comment, share, subscribe, binge, and ring a frugal bell!!
Yesh
Just so that we are clear we are saying a deck with a price of up to 500 dollars is budget? Because that is five dollars per cards…
God Yuriko is so boring
Jons shirt is so black it almost looks cgi...
The music and the balancing was terrible this episode
Looks like the poor are at it again
Yeahhhh not a fan of the music on this one....
what is with the elevator music, highly distracting!
Haven't watched for over a year and 10mins in Cory is insufferable
Hey john lets attack cory all game because im a petty $itch and leave the threat jeremy alone all game makes sense ur so #umb
popper commander!
