The "fuzziness" at high volume will be your headunit distorting/clipping. The speakers aren't at fault. Most headunits output quality degrades above 80%ish of the max volume as the internal amplifier exceeds its power output and starts clipping the signal. That's what causes the fuzzy sound and has the potential to damage speakers, so try to avoid it. If you use an amp, set the gains correctly and avoid putting the headunit above vol.30/where you hear the fuzziness these will sound super clean and powerful!

@@promo130 I don't know what that means but I have a pioneer radio amped with a 5 channel alpine and I never turn it past 30. After 30 the radio distorts.

Nice sound. Strong and clear. I had this speakers a few years ago in my old car and I remember my friends was really fascinated and enjoy the sound in my car. I think it s bang for your buck! Maybe only KICKER KS Series 6x9-Inch 3-Way will be a little better. Best regards from Poland.

Pioneers are some really good sound in speakers depends what you got powering them

Any stereo , Not enough power for them 6x9 for 120 rms definitely need a amp,
normal 6x9s you see at 30- 60 rms.. the distortion you'll hear at high level will be from not enough power.

at 2:45 I was thinking "he isn't even playing it at any volume, but then he started talking and I couldn't here him.

You really don't need to amplify these speakers. Most head units have enough power to make them sound this good. Amplifying them will only force you to use the amp's High Pass Filter which will eliminate all of that good mid-bass you're hearing.

  • @analogaudiorules1724

you should cover up those grill holes, you'll get better low end extension. You also need a better amplifier to drive them, likely the head unit is junk, and just doesn't have enough power, it most certainly isn't the speakers here, they're just under powered, get yourself a decent 2 or 4 channel amp, like a rockford fosgate, anything will be better then that headunit which probably is only 14 to 25 w rms per channel...even jensen has a half decent 4 channel amp that does rated power and is only 100 bucks, it does 80w rms x4 at 4 ohms... you can buy that from any walmart... those pioneers are some of the best value coaxial's around.

How can you tell rom a YT video? The microphone of the device and your speakers on your phone or computer or however you're watching this are also variables affecting results. That's two extra variables that disconnect you from what it might sound like to the guy inside the car.

Boy,right to the rap. What about starting out with metal first? Just saying.

So unfortunately with copyright laws on youtube I can only use royalty free music or songs that I personally own, so the song playing is my personal song I made, lol it is called I cant rap but you can listen.
I would love to have played my number one favorite song. Here I go again, by whitesnake, but it would get me a copyright strike on my account.
      Thanks for watching.
