I have around 7 to 10 regulars here, very intelligent bird and always curious, they often come inside when the door is open and never cause trouble. We call them "Happy Chappies" here and they always are family/group focused.
Gorgeous. I wish your friend wouldn't feed them white bread though! They eat it and then they starve because it fills them up and they don't get the nourishment they need.
Shouldn't give any bird plain white bread which is loaded with preservatives and other nasties, gums their guts up. Multigrain bread with reduced salt and sugar if you must give them bread.
I liked your neighbour's furry friends - they reminded me of past friends' willie wagtail-like movements as they jumped around feeding. Their grey plumage is not quite as spectacular though - but very full and furry. Nice to have such happy friends around in your Paradise.
Great Looking Birds.

Please don't feed wildlife bread it can be fatal to birds as it rots their beaks
These are like the seagulls of the Australian bush where I was, you throw them the gristle off your steak or a chip and they go mad over it.
Cudowne !!
