Swift parrots on the Toowoomba Range

We had five Swift parrots on the Toowoomba Range today. There's most likely more in harder to access areas. They've flown up all the way from Tasmania on their annual migration - around 1800 kms each way. I filmed these ones this morning. These birds are critically endangered and there's only 500 to 700 left. They are on track for extinction in the 2030's. A national disgrace.
