The Moores | Episode 5: Honor and Remember

In one week, our installation will adopt the name of Ret. Lt. Gen. Hal and Julia Moore, two individuals who exemplified what it means to be an Army family.
Since the Congressional announcement of the post redesignation, our leaders, the Moore family, and community members have banded together to tell the public of the Moore's legacy.
We look forward to becoming Fort Moore and training Army leaders to be all they can be, and then
#BeMoore.

Although I am not a fan of renaming bases they could not have chosen a more deserving person than Col. Hal Moore and his wonderful wife , Julia Moore as they both gave so much of themselves to their beloved soldiers and their families . I only hope that future soldiers assigned to Ft. Moore will take the time to learn about their bases namesakes and the proud heritage it brings .
