You should load the batteries from the very beginning because if you play outside, the wind could blow it away.

When linked by Bluetooth, could I play background music from my device through it?
I’m looking for something to use for outdoor restaurant gigs and busking. I’d like to have a Cube EX, but I’d really rather just get an acoustic combo amp if I’m going to spend $500.
The Cube Street seems similar, just with a mic input and stereo ability. Yet it’s about $200 more than the Flamma.
Should I shell out the extra for a Cube Street, or go with the Flamma?
The EchoVerb and Preamp pedals they’ve come out with are really excellent pedals, that probably won’t stay at such low prices for long. They are both equal to pedals being sold for $150-$200.

This was "OK". FWIW, I think a much better alternative for even cheaper price is the NUX Mighty Amp. Pete Thorn has reviewed a couple of the versions. I own one and it is superior to this one I think. Sonically the Nux appears more versatile and it also has an app that will allow a ton of effects and customizations. On top of that, to me one of the best features of the NUX Mighty Amp is that it not only can be powered by normal alkaline batteries, but also by any kind of standard USB smartphone charging battery you may have lying around.
All you need to do is to velcro the battery to the back of the Nux and get a standard, super short, USB A to USB Micro - right angle plug end for the Micro USB is best. You can then connect the powerbank and use it to power the Nux. I have a 20,000mah power bank stuck on the back of my Nux and it will literally power the Nux for like a year. :) And it is truly portable.
The Nux also has a drum machine loops and 3 preset buttons which you can fully edit inside the Nux app. I honestly think the NUX is superior to this thing but just throwing my experience out there for folks to consider.
    Cheers!

@@GearGasms Glad you found it useful - that's what we're all here for anyway :)
Forgot to mention, the NUX Mighty Amp also serve as a Bluetooth speaker. Which means you can stream songs to it and play along with them, all still while allowing you to control the amp from the app if you want. Plus a headphone jack.
Honestly, in this tiny portable practice amp category, I think NUX has nailed it.
      Cheers!

Good review. Nice to have the drum sounds but think I'll stick with my Cube.

      The Roland amp?
I’ve been very curious about getting one of Flamma’s 5-watt amps for playing outdoors, in restaurant settings or busking.
Just really need to know how loud it can get, and how much clean headroom using an OD pedal into it.
The Roland has speakers for a mic and guitar, or in stereo, right?
It can also be run into a bigger speaker?
The Cube EX costs $400 more and the Street Cube is about $200 more, so yeah I’d definitely rather have either of them, yet the Flamma pedals I’ve used(Preamp and EchoVerb) were both equal to pedals that go for $150-$200.
So, I might have to try this little amp out.

Lol - when you went right by the crunch on the first pass I was right there with you! That crunch was a no from me Dawg! It’s not the greatest sounding but would be handy for travel or such

Great value compared with some of the other battery options that are 2 channel with no drums. Amazon has them for $88. Tempting for a travel set up.

@@thetonekingofficial Phil @ Know Your Gear said Blackstar Fly is the best small amp out there. I don't think they have drum beats built in though. Looks like Flamma is neck and neck with Blackstar Fly! Both sound great!

I have the Blackstar Fly 3 stereo pack... Although I feel the sounds on this Flamma unit are not as good as the single overdrive sound on the Blackstar Fly 3 this one has more for your money. Drum sounds are usefull for practice, more fx (only delay in the fly 3) and the tuner. The main problem for me on the Fly 3 is if it is not loaded with batteries the low frequencies make the springs in the battery compartment to rattle. I will not be changing it though. Maybe wait for the Spark to make it to the mayor retailers

      @fingersmike 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@zaz4667 nope, just looked now. Nice specs but for a practice amp on the go this has it all. Blackstar could do the same or more using Bluetooth and seems more like a street gig thing than this

That was not too bad, all those sounds were GOOD, except for that 'rhythm' tone! That was horrid, the others were usable. Hard to get 'realistic' sounds via a small speaker. Be interesting to hear those thru a much bigger/better speaker set up!

What a narcissistic reviewer. Loes to hear himself. Why waste our time removing paper etc and telling us he has a box full of stickers. Then did not give us a listen to all the variable. Not a very good review
