I took your advice and i got the BM75 b stock. It plays great ,just the nut . Thank you for finding this for ma,thank you for your channel, you help people who don't know who. To trust. I trust your words, and 1000 others, on behalf of them thank you ,❤
That ain’t too terrible, sounds good enough for a novice player, or for something to have in a travel bag or on your night stand in the bedroom or side table next to the couch! I am getting back into playing bass again, so maybe they make a bass model?!?? More research is needed! Thanks bro, love to you and yours!
I've played quite a few amps. For home I like the little Marshall MG 10...and it does everything I want which is a basic classic rock sound. Does a great Danny Kustow ( Tom Robinson's under-rated guitarist), Mick Ronson and a passable Brian May. I don't need 100 bells and whistles and its plenty loud enough for "bedroom" playing.
Sounds good with only a 3" speaker. If you need a small portable practice amp this one will do the job. For me my trusty old Vox VT40X may not be portable but it sounds so good on cleans, the rest i never bother with.
I really dislike the tiny knobs on the small amps and pedals. Sounds fine for what it is and it's priced fairly, but I'm pretty happy with my Cube & Yamaha for quieter practice time. Thanks for all you do Elmo, it is really appreciated! Rob
@@chessrootslove9916 what kind of tones do you find are your favourite in the Yamaha? Clean, high gain, etc? Also have you tried any other similar amps?
I think it sounded not too bad and would be a great first amp I think. The inbuilt effects would also great for a new player, nice touch. Im thinking way way back to my first amp and this one would blow it away. Certainly, to my ears, the tones sounded more usable than the Joyo amps you demoed. Now.. im curious what the Drums had to offer? But even as an inbuilt metronome they could be a nice touch for a beginners practice amp.
Seems small enough to be a travel amp, which is where I'd say it's best use is. It's actually a tiny bit bigger than the Blackstar Fly. Seems to be the same thing as th NUX and similar Chinese made battery amps. Curious how it sounds side by side with the Spark GO. The GO is even better suited for a travel amp, albeit more expensive. But then "Buy once, Cry once". I agree for a practive amp, I'd send the extra $10 USD and get the Katana Mini. I use the Spark Mini, but then the extra cost wasn't a factor for me.
Thanks for the review Elmo! Yeah, gonna say that one is not on my list to buy. The katana mini is for noodling around in my living room. Overall, not a bad sounding amp but seriously nothing special. Kudos on bringing out the sd-1 though. That and the blues driver are two of my favorite pedals! I love Boss stuff, and Blackstar so I'm kinda biased.
Hey Elmo, i build my own practice amp. Fact's: Two 15 Zoll Speakers, 200 Watt RMS, 55 kg.🤣🤣🤣 The Flamma Amp is not bad. I think the Sound of this amp is better with a better speaker. Your Videos are very good. 👍👍👍🙂
On smaller amps, especially battery powered, can you address the volume and quality. How good are they in a reasonably large space without the sound distorting, it's a minor thing since most will use these by themselves but if you want to jam at a birthday party or at the beach, it's nice to know how they perform.
Hi Elmo, You showed us the BOSS SD1 Overdrive, as an affordable Pedal. I'm an 66 years old "beginner" since about 60Jears, so I was interested and looked to THOMANN, where I found it for 74,-€ at the super place Nr. 3!!! 👍 But! - at the good place 7 I could find a Pedal for only ~30€, which is one of 4, or 5 Pedals in different Colour with nearly same functions, like the verry interresting Pedal on Place 7: It's the HARLEY BENTON "American TrueTone", where are 3 extra knops for Bass, Middle & Trebble! So you would have the chance, to make the mad sound of the FLAMMA a little bit better? What Do you think? ☝️PS. Sorry for my total rusty, 50 years old school-English, and Greetings from Germany 🙋♂️
Now i can play the acoustic, i can plug the acoustic into the amp that's in the acoustic, or I can plug a guitar into the amp that is in the acoustic guitar. It still doesn't sound good. But it is a fun novelty item.
Check out some great cheap alternatives: th-cam.com/video/r92cswgqOgw/w-d-xo.html
And a very huge thank you to you too Elmo for all you do here on TH-cam just want you to know we all appreciate it🙏✌️❤️
Thank you Rick!
Thank you Elmo! I decided to get this amp based on your excellent review! ❤

Glad to be of help 😊
I like this series, keep them comming!
I thought it sounded damn good for its size and price. And you still have the best guitar face on the internet!
Haha :D Thanks!

Kind of reminds me of the original Cube. I loved that little amp.

One may or may not like the amp but this is an honest review!

I can't remember if I even tried the drums. You can get a free metronome app on your phone. Or you can play to backing tracks, or actual songs.
Pretty Cool little amp.

I really want a scalloped neck!
Just to annoy your band members in the van I fully see the potential of this product 😂
Haha :D

Could I use it with a microphone and a flute? Would the reverb work?

Thanks for the suggestion.
How does it compare to the Marshall code 50 amp? Lol
:D
Second song I learned many moons ago was, House on the hill." Lol
Would you trade your Cube for this?
Not a chance.

Haven't tried the Harley Benton, so not sure.
sounds ok
All you need is love❤. And maybe this👍.
:)
It sounds like valves, it doesn't sound like a transistor.
Three Inches is never enough !
That’s what she said, then the bed broke!
Xactly it worked for midget joe
Mine sounds like booboo. I removed it from the "cab" and mounted it inside an acoustic guitar.
Now i can play the acoustic, i can plug the acoustic into the amp that's in the acoustic, or I can plug a guitar into the amp that is in the acoustic guitar. It still doesn't sound good.
But it is a fun novelty item.
After all these years the 'House of the Rising Sun' always hard to play correct.
Fao5 Flamma
😀
...And it holds 🆙️ to 48 differents channels under 50 mt. away. I don't know. Namastè.
Practice amp, 3 inch speaker,
The weave material on the speaker cover looks like it was installed by a 6 year old in arts class.
