Man yeah Mr Chris!! Boy I need to quit fussing about my little cold snaps here in NC 🤣🤣 I got spoiled to the auto engage feature myself on our skid steers at the daily. That snow pusher seems to work great, especially with those big feet to keep it from digging in!! Looking fwd to the future projects!! @Pennies_on_the_dollar I think I need a 2nd home in NC 😉 I am going to price out adding the hydraulic quick attach to our machine. Snow pusher has been a good purchase, though I wish we didn't need it as much... Thanks Nelson!!
So far our winter is mild compared to your's. Most years we have about the same, or slightly worse than NE PA. Our advantage is less hills. Thank you Chris. Merry Christmas to you, and your's.
Looks like the rubber tracks did well. If we're expecting snow, I always make sure to have the bucket of the skid steer before hand. I didn't have it on once, weren't expecting snow either. Got a couple inches before I went to bed, lived 20 miles away at the time. Woke up to 39".. was finally able to get to the farm 3 days later. Had a heck of a time getting to the bucket, yet alone finding it..
@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin definitely hard to find anything with 39" of snow! I remember storms like that when I was a kid, but not so much anymore. Thank you Ed!!
A bit more snow than predicted is becoming a usual occurrence. We were supposed to get 3" - 5" in the last storm, ended up with 11". Did they forget how an Alberta Clipper works?🤦🏻♂️😂
@ikonseesmrno7300 🤣 I think they forgot how to read a weather map 🤷♂️ It really is frustrating, though, because both of our businesses revolve around the weather...
@@Firefighterthomas176 if I had to plow commercially for the winter, I would definitely get a different set of tracks. These seem to do ok around here. Thanks!
@pinesedgefarm1155 pretty good. This one is just over 8 feet wide- if it were any wider, it would miss more snow. On semi even ground it takes a little adjustment here and there- similar to if you were using a regular bucket. But with its skid shoes, it does a better job on gravel than a bucket- and ends up being faster than a bucket because you don't have to dump it out after each push.
All i can say is heated cabs sure are a blessing!

How does that snow pusher handle on uneven terrain?
