We have LD10.5s and have been using skid steers. We just run out of power and traction so easily. Seriously considering getting some tractors. Thank you for this video!
I operate a JD 6130M with a metal pless blade on the front, and your right, I can’t stack snow up. My company needs to call a loader out to stack it up. it’s not always ideal, but it works well.
So one thing I did to help keep my windows clean was I rain-x'd all of my windows and the mirrors. I found that it did help alot. Even the salt didn't want to collect on them.
I use studs in my front tires from i grip they work great not as good as chains but alot smoother. I use a similar setup but i have a hla 8’ snowpusher on a massey 4707
Thanks I’d have to agree. I put good effort in the videos and I want those to get views. The shorts for whatever reason blow up but a lot of them are just stupid clips lol
Do you use your split brakes to turn? If not try it 👌 I personally think a tractor is the best snow machine overall. High ground speed compared to skid steer especially for between sites and much cheaper than a loader. I run a L6060 with a 7-12 (7ft in pusher mode) metal pless with Nokians, heated mirrors, front and rear fenders and everything. I can put my loader on to move snow piles if needed too. It’s the largest tractor with the HST transmission. Only 62hp tho. Thanks for the video
Basically yes. I got 4 guys and my dad. So 6 of us total. 1 of them is a snowblower. If it’s like a inch maybe one or two guys will sit out but if it’s 3 inches plus we are all out. 3 at hospital and 3 in Livermore falls/jay
I seen some video with a kid using a JD 4066r and he had a metal pless wing plow that just had a quick attack plate of front. Ive searching their site but nothing looks small enough, Any idea?
Only use chains on gravel IMHO. I have chains front & back but my .5 mi road has a 6% grade and straight R4s were just Terrible. On gravel chains ride rough and are worse on asphalt if you have traction spikes on them. Only use flat chains on asphalt, still a bit rough but not as bad and don't mark the pavement. Spiked can leave permanent marks even on Cold Asphalt........
Thank you! I don’t ever plan on using this plowing anymore but if I do I think I’m gunna use studs. I stud my track teleskid and it’s a night and day difference
Looking at a kubota m6 101 with snow tires and 13’ LD. Do you think turning will still be an issue with snows? I like my skid but I can only run max a 10’ pusher on it with snow tires. My 4075r with 8-13 mp will do detail work. So my question I guess is ssv75 with snow tires and 10’ hla pusher or m6 101 with snows and 13’ Ld more productive? M6 there’s no clutching for gears. Would be used in tandem with 4075r on lots totalling 450,000 sqft.
@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry Yep, You have to have the 24 speed to get the top speed in that model. I think you have to get the M5-111 to get this as well. It's weird because we have an M7060 and it does 24+ MPH as well and has a 12 speed.

Do you have snow tires on your skids? If not that will help but it will make it jerky. And no problem thanks

Nice!

I’ll have to try that! Thanks

Will try it and thank you! Sounds like a nice set up!
Can you make a videos on how you got started in this business and what equipment you started with?
Of course! Thank you for the idea!
We have a M5-111 with a boss pusher. I need one like yours. It works much better!
Yes arctics are king!
Do you put all your employees to work on the small snow falls like how many people work at the hospital you have a lot of equipment to use thanks

We run Nokian Hakkapeliitta's on our rigs. Night and day difference. No chains...
I’ll try those thanks!

That’s the tractor I want instead of mine. I think it would work good with snow tires. Worst case put studs in the front
@@tandtlandscapeandmasonry thanks for the info! Love your videos.
We plow with a case 530 backhoe
Nice how do you like it?
Just watch ya loader mount bolts, fatigue can give them a hard time,
Will do thank you!
M5-111 with 24 speed is 24+ MPH
Damnnnn mine only does 20
