Voice like sunsets and chocolate. Rich contralto earth goddess!!! She simmers, she smoulders. She redefined what a Contralto can sound like. She is my idol. I'm a contralto myself. The haunting mournful sound is native to this voice. But sexy?? The Contralto voice was never seen that way. First, You hardly ever hear it. It's never been 'sexy' as in popular and cool. I can tell you that, especially in classical music. Slow, torchy ballads suit her rich voice perfectly, which allows us lucky listeners to luxuriate in. That low, thick, fat tone is amazing like the cello. Her voice is no size 2 folks. That's for sure.

Because it’s a... performance. Whitney Houston was known to take pauses, play with the band, entertain the audience. You weren’t getting studio vocals. But, to each their own. I understand some people want strictly studio version performances.

I didn't like all the pauses and slowness... this is what happens when singers have performed a song so often that they get bored with it and change it up and fans can't even sing along with it. That’s not what happened here. She had lupus which affects her voice and her energy therefore singing a song that requires a lot of long drawn out notes and powerfully belts isn’t easy for her. It requires her to take breaks in order to get more breaths in to give us an amazing performances
She’s wonderful to listen to and look at, but those fake violinist dancers (although there seemed to be actual ones sprinkled in) drive me NUTS! And I couldn’t escape them from the corner of my eye. You don’t hold a bow in your fist!
Excuse me I know this comment was a month ago but I must let you know that there was a real orchestra playing in the back way in the back of the dancers holding the instruments doing the choreography of a dance with instruments look in the back and you will see a actual orchestra playing you also see a man playing an actual guitar and you will see a conductor in the back conducting a small orchestra
