Nobody in 1651 would have absolutely no idea who Gilgamesh is or have any to find out more of his story. Because the tablets that the epic of Gilgamesh was written on werent discovered until the 1850s.
That's an interesting observation. Also, since popularity after death also affects your power maybe, specifically in this age, while still powerful because of his own achievements, he was nerfed slightly because he wasn't known and that is probably why we could at the very least survive against him lol
The story has been known in one form or another yes the tablets were discovered then however there is something called oral tradition! It has been told for a long time. Seriously the liberal education is ruining everything
@@game8reviewsthe fame boost a hero get is not really relevent anleast they are summoned in their homeland If its not their homeland than the fame boost is pretty low
Good references, here are 2 more: -Yui Shōsetsu was a real ronin who in 1651 initiated Keian uprising against Shogunate. The Waxing Moon ritual also happens in 1651 so we can assume that Shogunate in Fate used Keian Uprising and Yui's death as official explanation to cover up the entire thing. -Li Shuwen revealed his identity to Iori and Saber because he was born in 1862, 211 years before the events of the game. Officially making him the most far future Servant in the setting as the only one that appears from the future in a Grail War is Archer from FSN, and he is from some 40 to 60 years in the future.
I really love Iori and Takeru. In fact, Takeru is now my favourit Saber. I really love him. I mean, Iori and Takeru are meant to be the old versions of Shiro and Artoria. But for me, Takeru is such a likeable and funny character that he simply belongs at the top for me. And yeah, I really like Iori way more than Shiro. 😅😂
Personally, I agree. Iori and Takeru's dynamic is a lot more enjoyable to watch. I also like to believe that Takeru's early dialogue with Iori saying "You've seen Rider and Lancer with your own eyes. Surely you realize you're no match for them. It would be concerning if you thought you could hold your own against them" is a subtle diss on Shiro lmao
Ogasawara Tadazane, Iori's Lord, was present in the Shimabara Rebellion on the side of the shogunate, so yeah he was there as Ogasawara's page. Even got a pay raise after the whole thing too.

Those are pretty interesting. The Yui Shousetsu one especially since there's an in-universe explanation of the character's "death"

Didnt the actual miyamoto iori also fight in the shimanara rebelion with musashi as a general since apparently his swordmanship wasnt that good

2:12 makes you wonder how he’ll react to him as a heroic spirit

Oh My God!
It's Iori from famous hit game "Legend of Ruina" by Project Type-Moon.
