When THE BROTHERS FOUR visited Japan more than 60 years ago. and they held the concert at Kobe. I was so excited at that day. But I've never thought I could listen their songs on You Tube, Thank you, I 'm so happy to find them and to heir them sing again, Wonderful ! !

The Brothers Four Concert was the very fist date my husband and I went to together. That was in 1964. We were married for 55 years before he passed away in 2019.
Oh wow.. Music is powerful. My husband passed in 2012 Dialysis issue.. we lived in the 70’s….16, 17. married, pregnant a month later. wasn’t a shotgun marriage., ( Mom wanted three of girls us out of the nest..lol
Enjoyed the music in 1961 when I was in high school, and now in 2024, I am enjoying these incredible music again. It is a great feeling remembering the good old days when we hear the music only through the AM radio and later through the FM radio which was not common at that time.

One of the finest folk, country, calypso, and blues group of all time. I loved their sound. Along with the Kingston Trio, they were my favorites. They weren't overtly political but neither was Ian and Sylvia and they were great, too. I saw them at a small venue in Hollywood back in the day. They were wonderful!

The brother's four got me to love calypso when I was very young. Heard "King Richard" play at a restaurant on St. John's in the 70s. All calypso, all evening. Biggest tip I ever gave. Lucky it wasn't the B4, it would have broken my bank.
