Everything and everybody who is white is not necessarily racists! A racist is a personal issue that individuals may have, not a whole race!!
I refuse to always have to be made to feel “guilty” just because I am white! I didn’t choose my colour or race and I don’t see any particular group superior to another! It’s time we move forward!!

So very true. But we are not going to ignore that the DA policies, at least in how they present them, are anti black. Not only is racism a reality in this country, but the jarring socioeconomic disparities continue to persist. Any party that has spent 30 years disparaging every policy meant to redress the atrocities black suffered under Apartheid rule is never going to be supported by the black majority. What the ANC did in partnering with the DA was the worst and has betrayed the majority of black. It's political suicide. It has also set a very bad political tone for the country as a whole. If we thought we had made some gain in race relations in this country, all gains have been lost today. The ANC showed its true colors. Of course the DA also showed its true colors. The DA spent 30 cricising every policy thar was pro black under guise these polices were "reverse racism." This is absurd in the extreme. South Africa has a difficult past, and to suggest that we should ignore this shows a racist party that either doesn't care about the black or is purposefully ignorant we don't need that either. To say the black majority in this country feel betrayed in the extreme by the ANC who should know better. The socioeconomic disparities caused by Apartheid still persist in this country and yes we feel that the DA is not ideologically positioned to take this role. Anyone wo believes this coalition is best for the people of the country. Is either ignorant or undermining or diminishing the atrocities that people suffered under Apartheid. This either way disqualify any such party. Have you wondered why majority of black South africa are so vehemently opposed to the DA, because in its conduct, behavior, and public utterances. the DA has made it clear whose rights they are defending. I can assure you that it is for white people in this country. What is the black majority supposed to think? Apartheid is revived through the back door. If your parents and you did not suffer under this brutal system, you have no right to tell black South Africans to just move on. We all know that 80 % of the electorate rejected the DA. what does that mean? They don't want the DA is government. It is not good for the country. Clean audits are good, but those clean audits have failed to improve lives of the black majority in WC. Add to this, the negative rhetoric from Steenhuizen about black led parties. He just demonstrated this by demands that MK and EFF should not be part of the nonsensical GNU. These parties have constituencies and Steenhuizen has bumped them off from participating. Does that make sense? Who is Steenhuizen to make that demand? DA got 21%, MK 15% and EFF 9%. Again, I ask what is the basis of Steenhuizen giving this demand? His feeling of superiority and his complete disrespect for the ANC and anything led by a black person.

EFF wants a Government of National Uniformity. Uniformity is not Unity, get it right guys. You don't have to be aligned ideologically to cooperate, otherwise there is no need for unity. We are not a monoideology, monoethnic, monolinguistic culture. We are diverse, if you don't want to work with others you exclude yourself. It is not up to anyone to include you, you must put yourself forward to do the work that is required to include yourself. EFF hides the fact that they have no competence behind flip-flopping racial separatist hot air with no substance. They cannot survive in a meritocracy so it makes sense that they mourn the advent of it.

The reason why the ANC got just 40% of the vote has now hit the party like an icy shower; namely, Zuma's upstart MK stole the radical vote, and has thereby exposed in plain daylight what South Africans had been wondering for the last thirty years - just how large is the radical faction within the ANC? The answer is clearly less than the radical faction had the country believe. MK's 15%, set against the ANC's 40%, is not all that impressive. Even if we add the 9% of that other schism, the EFF, it is clear that the radical wing remains the lesser partner, if not entirely in underlying ideology then certainly in terms of the means by which their aims are to be achieved. That is, within the framework of a constitutional democracy and an economically pragmatic methodology, or by demagoguery and mob incitation? To its credit, a sobered up ANC looks to be taking the politically astute and more robust option, knowing from its own history that its breakaways have tended to orphan themselves (PAC), and its proteges not to grow much in its shadow (AZAPO).

Did he say national lunatity? Lunacy? The hard hat must be too tight. Maybe the EFF would chill if they just got some proper head gear, a nice Mao hat perhaps?

No doubt: it is not a GNU. It is a coalition. Wordplay.

It was either this or something unfathomable. Making it work is easier said than done. Remember Ramaphoria. Q: Is this Ramaphoria 2.?

South Africa is busy with politics while it’s 2050 in Japan and public toilet seats are heated. We honestly not going anywhere with political regime but accelerating poverty

Democracy is victorious when majority rules, what you have is factionalism. The anc did not receive the majority vote, meaning the majority of the population do not want them in power. So that definitely is not that democracy has won - the fact that the anc are shamelessly still taking charge of this roadshow is putrid. It is a grand/rubbish coalition. I can guarantee you that the majority of this population are still highly disgruntled. These politicians are mostly just people who talk and that's what they do well. But putting the word to the deed is a joke in South African politics.
