This electoral strength would empower them to pass legislation, amend the constitution, and govern effectively without requiring a Government of National Unity (GNU). Hi Mighti Jamie, I must admit I sometimes find Sizwe too direct and ideological in his analysis' related to political matters. I appreciate your analysis on Renaldo Gouws, even though not rosy it was fair. My take is Renaldo is actually a manufactured product of resistance to the voices like of EFF, BLF on matters of race bating and inflammatory rhetoric and does represent a fringe which probably should not be aligned with a party that is supposed to be non-racial organization such as the DA proports. DA does need to self-reflect spot on, however they can only be as effective as what their constituency allows them to be, because lets face it even if they can demonstrate that they are effective and uncorrupted officials for governing this country. The body politic is not ready to accept them as their representatives.... So they will always have to scramble for votes in whatever grouping will accept them. Anyway great show.
The ANC interpretation is that this will be applicable after the government has been constituted ..that's why it's called a statement of intent ...what they intend to do once the government has been constituted..thats why the preceding statements in the statement of intent is in the spirit of keeping with the GNU then all those clauses apply ..but before then it remains an invitation to all parties until government is constituted then ..
Why are we needing the markets' buy in on our agenda? The markets needs certainty. If the DA bails out, we can still provide certainty with the EFF and MK. That might translate to a Rama compromise, but we need to mean whatever agenda we come up with. We NEED certainty more than the DA. The markets can easily adapt to certainty. Oh, have I mentioned we need certainty??
The most powerful ministries viz, Finance, Mineral resources and Energy, Trade, Industry and Competition have gone to the DA. They have literally taken power

Good morning, to make statement outside if its context, could be considered as misleading. It's well known that veterinarian science at Onderstepoort (UP campus) is one of the most sought after qualifications to obtain. Reason being that it's the only campus that offers the programme in SA with only 750 students, half of which in Veterinary Nursing. This number represents the student body across all years, post-graduate included and with the Vet Science taking 7 years to complete, one can only imagine how contested the coveted 1st year entrance could be. International students are also accommodated as the faculty is leading the production of research papers in the field globally. Throw into that competitive environment, the unique SA context, where only Euro-South Africans, predominantly male, have traditionally been exclusively allowed to study Veterinary Science at the Institute and also that previously 1st generation Black African aspirants science students would rather have opted to access more traditional fields, eg. Medicine, Law, Accounting, etc. That resulted in under representation in the Vet professional of unimaginal margins for an African country. The current admission policy seeks to address the race and gender discrepancy within this niche study field. Prospective students with a calling to the career should consider studying abroad as most international students are doing when access to specialized study fields in their native countries have steep access or are congested. The taking up of such programs by other universities in SA could be a future consideration. The viability thereof, will however, be carefully considered as it would never achieved the prestige and institutional & research depth of the 100-year old Onderstepoort.
Actions of Renaldo Gouws represents a unfortunate reaction of discomfort in the respective community towards the bias in the majority, ref "unholy white alliance" & "kill the boer, kill the farmer song". Now that the ANC has what is wanted from the GNU agreement, is it "acceptable" for the ANC to change the terms of the agreement? sadly the far left equally practices racism, as does the far right I agree that what R Gouws said was wrong, but then in saying that many things that the EFF leadership says daily at their meetings are equally wrong yet we accept it and brush it off
We will never agree, white and black in this country will never live side by side, there can only be one dominant people, you do your worst , we will do likewise

Since there is an insistance in calling things by their appropriate names, it would be useful to stop referring to "the market" and call it what it is "the whites."

Like everything in life there are good and bad examples. In the case of student loans, you point to America (a bad example) but neglect to point to a good example, … Skandinavien countries, that are known for their strong social safety net but who also have a system of student loans. A smaller state budget does not mean less services. We all know that HUGE AMOUNNTS of tax payer monies are being stolen. The DA’s biggest objective is to destroy our current kleptocracy. That leaves room to reduce the budget size. This also includes energy public tenders to Ramaphosa’s son in law. I agree that the killing of farmers is way over exaggerated. I have been thinking about Jacob Zuma's case with the ANC for voting outside of party line and before this hearing is chaired the ANC vote publicly for opposition and yet I don't remember being a policy conference for ANC to amend current policy around voting outside of party line. Share your thoughts please
Well in South Africa you vote is secret and you are allowed to vote for any party...I think that is why the ANC don't want to act against him.
The audio levels on this channel are rather low
Why are we needing the markets' buy in on our agenda? The markets needs certainty. If the DA bails out, we can still provide certainty with the EFF and MK. That might translate to a Rama compromise, but we need to mean whatever agenda we come up with. We NEED certainty more than the DA. The markets can easily adapt to certainty. Oh, have I mentioned we need certainty??
The most powerful ministries viz, Finance, Mineral resources and Energy, Trade, Industry and Competition have gone to the DA. They have literally taken power
ministers have been annouced already?
Facts... It is like ANC is under spell from DA.
Facts..please .not what you think
The colonial masters continue to control the economy.... for the few exceptional people

What constitutes sufficient consensus?
Political parties across the world are shocked by the social media response to oppression in any form. Society can't be fooled with livestreaming and modern super heroes, the journalists on the ground. We see, we hear, we understand and we want change ❤️UN INTL HUMAN RIGHTS LAWS 4 ALL❤️
You sounds like hater or one side favor talk about your side nothing we head about critics on Mk and Eff but too much critics on Anc and Da +partners why midia of SA always buyers and fake news
That Kanye line 😅🔥
Ramaphosa failed to be decisive in the 6th Administration, doubt that he will manage to change this trait given that he failed with his endless Presidential Commissions, how will he succeed with Coalition/Selective GNU.
Decisiveness is required, but he failed with majority. Doubt that he will last or that selective GNU will survive the entire 7th admin in its current form.
ANC can now enter second phase of talks about talks ( DA already fumbled the Moonshot Pact (by default donated it to ANC Coalition) and ANC still has an option in what was termed (Doomsday Coalition ). PA binnekant whichever way 😂😂😂😂😂.
Racist racist racist bla bla this will never end and just keeps people wrapped up and not moving on and doing better
It will end as soon as white people start owning up to racism past and present and stop making excuses. This isn't difficult to understand. Stop being part of the problem and the problem will go away.
Never will stop till the wrongs are equalized, for now that song will keep playing till equality is reached
The tide have already turned against the EFF. Fact.
The tide is all ready turning in KZN against MK. All they are doing are badmouthing and making noise.
What has changed for the EFF? Nothing about them or their position has changed
@@mandzisim6886keep telling yourself that. 😂
@@runningman2989 keep telling myself what? I asked a question. What has changed for the EFF?
The EFF is in most of the provincial legistatures unlike in the last election so I think you're premature with your judgement
Morning but what do you call the stopping of whites to become vets by the Pretoria University? Was job reservation not considered as racism?
Please explain. I am not familiar with this.

Yes he should not have been part of the DA, as much as Julius and Zuma shouldn't have been apart of the ANC.
What rubbish! uBaba uMsholozi is more ANC then any other person that is currently in it, he is still the most decorated cde in the ANC, the ANC of ramaposa is a captured organization we as the black majority no longer identify with, sooner or later, the EFF and MK will be in power , I wouldn't be comfortable if I where you
Helen Zille never said she "loved colonialism" and isn't the leader of the DA... You don't even know the finite differences in roles.. fucking hell.
So I see video of Ian Cameron with a black face doing the rounds
It's so redundant! Bell POTTINGER at work again.
Now that the ANC has what is wanted from the GNU agreement, is it "acceptable" for the ANC to change the terms of the agreement?
sadly the far left equally practices racism, as does the far right
I agree that what R Gouws said was wrong, but then in saying that many things that the EFF leadership says daily at their meetings are equally wrong yet we accept it and brush it off
We will never agree, white and black in this country will never live side by side, there can only be one dominant people, you do your worst , we will do likewise
You totally minimised rural violence and attacks/ murder/ rape on rural properties which are mostly private property i.e. farms. C'mon man give some thought for us because we are disproportionately affected.
No, you aren't "disproportionately affected". If anything, these cases - horrific as they are - have been disproportionately discussed in the media, especially internationally when compared to crime in Townships.
What about the workers buried in those farms ?
@@nickwidmer9044 No, do your maths. there are not that many farmers out there but they receive risk and their workers do too. I'm talking ALL farmers, white, black, mixed, blue, yellow.. Subsistence, mass commercial. Farmers are more likely to be a victim than a school teacher, or a Lawyer or an Account... Argue that ?!
@@tam1641 Yes workers too! Rural violence is unacceptable for ALL who work in agriculture. It's not a white thing, it's a rural workers thing.
If you use the K-word you get sentenced to Prison, pay a fine and do comunity service…but o boy…you can go back to parliament as a minister after been convicted of fraud…where’s the justice in that ?😡
Come over and benchmark Kenyan Higher Education Loans Board.
Could you please care to explain how it works?
The SA student's loan scheme = NSFAS, gives a loan with the hope that in future u will get employed and pay it back.
Why is this gent wearing a lab coat……..someone fill me in ?
He's feeling cold 🥶
Are you a medical doctor? Hence the white coat?
What happened to the cult leader's threat of voluntarily resigning all MMC positions if the EFF MMC in Ekurhuluni was not reinstated? I just hate how Zimbabweans like Jamie and Simba are so obsessed with South African politics when we actually don't need them, South African internal politics don't have negative implications for Zim. On the other hand you don't find this obsession with Zimbabwean politics by South Africans, even though that country's politics have negative implications for our country. These Zimbabweans won't stop until South Africa is where Zimbabwe is, a failed state.
Since there is an insistance in calling things by their appropriate names, it would be useful to stop referring to "the market" and call it what it is "the whites."
Yea definitely, “the whites”meet up once a week to decide the value of stocks, inflation and exchange rates.
Do you not buy things? The market is what things cost at the market. Just think for a bit.
In the context "the market" clearly refers to individuals and groups of PEOPLE who control the economy, otherwise known as "capitalist." Thus, when he says "the markets wanted the Democratic Alliance in there," he is referring to PEOPLE. Just think abit.

You guys have this ridiculous idea that socializing debt is a good idea - It's just not true in SA. You need balance your ideas with workable market realities
Mighti Jamie, I think you need to do some more research! You have been wrong on so many subjects here. Quite scary that almost 20k people have watched you spewing fiction.
The most victims of crime are blacks but the most offenders are also are black. So it is black on black.
Your analysis is kaak
The scandanavian countries are using 4 planets resources each year just for themselves....
